The staff in Incline was so very helpful and understanding when the dates for the closing of escrow affected my move. The drop off and check in of the return was super easy. I highly recommend this location for all moving needs.

The mobile checkin process had an error in the system which prevented me from using either the app or website to start my checkin. I then spent over 2 hours on the phone with UHaul representatives trying to troubleshoot the issue. At the start of the call I had asked if we could do the checkin over the phone and was told to instead keep trying on the app/website. After multiple failed attempts with very little insight into what was wrong they finally had me go through the checkin over the phone, my original request after wasting 2 hours.

This gentleman was frustrated with a customer on the phone when I arrived. When I showed him my problem he said I work for a different company I just accept the insults vehicles. I asked him for a printed copy of our contract and he said all he could print was the drop off page. He did give me a complaint phone # after I showed him the defective auto transport. I told him they should remove from service.

Not location specific, but the truck had an exhaust leak, the rear cargo light did not work. Plus I had to drive 110mi to pick it up. But the personnel were great.

this uhaul in particular broke and my things got ruined. i am having a hard time going through the insurance company it is not easy to figure out to help get compensated for my things that get destroyed

Drop off location was after hours. While rental was in progress, uHaul sent an email trying to change return location to one 40 miles away. This was after changing the pickup location to one 40 miles out of the way. All in all, a very mediocre experience.

It was clean but was very disappointed to find that the air conditioning on the truck did not work. We were driving in 100+ temperatures for most of the trip with a cat in the cab with us and it was miserable.

I originally was scheduled to pick up the trailer in town but they didn't have the trailer there. The closest place that did have a trailer was a location almost an hour away. Nothing wrong with the location but it was annoying to have to go so far to get the trailer.

This Uhaul location was great. They came to my rescue after the Uhaul store on Auburn Blvd. in Sacramento cancelled my reservation. I highly recommend the Incline Village location and will never give my business to the Auburn Blvd. location.

Nothing to do with location. Our “self check in” took an hour and we were late meeting our movers. I was charged for safe move when I declined both online and on the phone. The woman on the phone took so long.

If you asked me to review Alpine Self Storage, it's 5 stars hands down so thank them for the reason why I continued with my reservation. The owner was incredibly helpful, friendly and saved this experience. My poor rating and review is related to U-HAUL. Your system is in disarray and I'm not surprised why the company is bleeding money during this hey-day of everyone moving all over the country. You let me expect to pick up my reservation at 8am and it wasn't until check-in, I discovered that my reservation was a hand-delivery. Wasted my time on the phone with 2 reps. My reservation somehow changed from 2 days to 28 hours, which had me on the phone again for another 30 minutes on hold to correct the reservation. The check out process couldn't pick-up my location to check out (yes, my location services were on in my settings) and so I couldn't even check out properly. Such a shame that your tech is so poorly managed.

Do a better job on the inside and out of the windshield. It was hard to see through when driving into the sun, glare and debris on the inside mostly. Otherwise a good experience

It was a little difficult when I picked up vehicle when it was closed....After spending 10-15 minutes walking around the lot I finally found a bulletin board with numbers....No one answered the main number so I called the emergency number....Josh answered and did a great job checking me in but lost 30 minutes in the process.

The guy we had to deal with in the office was nice, but was not wearing a mask in the small office. We asked him about that and he said he has asthma and can't wear a mask. Then he should've had a face shield or a barrier over the counter. It made us uncomfortable when we signed papers within 2 to 3 feet. Uncool.
