What you can do is open a location in Truckee with a human being in charge. The kiosk style location did not work! I was rerouted to the Incline Village location because the internet access in Truckee wasn't good enough. I was delayed over an hour and this cost me an additional $57 in expenses, plus the cost of labor. The person who helped me on the phone and the person who helped me in Incline Village were very helpful.

Had a storage unit at Alpine for storage for 17 years. Facility was well maintained and safe and I always had access when I needed it. Staff was consistently helpful and personable. I would recommend Alpine Storage for those needing a storage unit in the Incline Village area.

Tough to get anyone on the phone for returns, but we got there and someone met us. The guy there was not as friendly and seemed to be mad at first, but eventually warmed up a bit. Good thing I had photos of the gas Guage being 1/3rd tank when we left.

The online reservation system should indicate that trailers cannot be reserved at the Incline Village location. I had to rework my plans after receiving the confirmation call where I was told my nearest trailer pick up was an hour’s drive from my location.

The process of photographing the truck did not work, and is quite cumbersome and a waste of time. Best drop it.

reserved truck in truckee. Day before scheduled pick up, received a call stating that the truck was only available in Incline Village, a 30 mile, 40 ,minute drive away. The extra miles caused me to drive over the allotted 245 mile contract distance. Additionally, cthe extra driving time aused us to arrive much later on our move. Would have been helpful to know the truck wasn't going to be available more than a day in advance.

We originally had the pick-up and drop-off location scheduled in Truckee, Ca. It was moved to Incline Village, NV without any notice and it wasn’t until I logged into my UHaul account that I realized the location had changed. This change added 40 minute to the travel time which I had to pay for in mileage. In addition it took time away from our move which was difficult to adjust to considering how much we had to do. A heads up on the location change and a credit for the unanticipated mileage that resulted in the change would have made the experience much better.

The person was high, never returned the uhaul we were dropping off, double charged us for the uhaul we were exchanging for, and over charged us for the uhaul. Horrible experience. I will likely have to go through my credit card to set it straight because uhaul is so unhelpful. When we rented it, the gas tank was marked full, but it was only 3/4 and the break was not sensitive at all. That said, the truck ran fine.

I was returning equipment on Sunday. No staff was on site. The cellular coverage was poor so I was not able to upload pictures, leaving me at the mercy of whoever checks in the truck the next day. There were no surprises after all but it was concerning.

Ensure vehicle has no leaks; storage area with water leaking into interior when picked up truck. No alternatives available at site, re Cab did not seem sealed, noisy with air leaks. Passenger door required forceful slam to close.

We stored our treasured items from tax records, portable carport we took to burning 🔥 Man 3 times, an old Pocheeko (sp?) machine, my mother-in-laws meat grinder to 3 draw mostly metal file cabinet,many plastic sleds, a tabagon, etc we really liked the staff at Alpine Storage - especially Josh.

I rented a storage unit at Alpine after my husband's death, which I ended up keeping from February 2019 until last week. Josh and Dave were extremely helpful and communicative throughout. They (and the staff in general) also managed to combine their professionalism with kindness, something I greatly appreciated during a difficult time of bereavement. I will definitely use Alpine again should the need arise, and will happily recommend them to family and friends.
