Had trouble with computer program when we arrived. Than didn’t have the utility dolly we requested. Truck smelled like cigarettes and dog hair everywhere. Check engine light on. Sent us to another U-Haul for the dolly and they wouldn’t give us one because we didn’t rent through them. Driver several extra miles from uhual location to U-Haul location looking for a dolly. Finally found one for sale at a U-Haul store. Cost me $65 instead of renting one for $15

Melissa MOverall- disappointed in that the truck was at required gas mark, and next day when they documented return in the AM…. The gas gage was less. I am sure it was fumes and heat created a false since of full- maybe a warning to renters that they should over fill !! Truck was good- drove fine.
Julie MI rented a small 10-foot truck. I was upgraded to a 15-foot vehicle. I verified this change with an in-person visit to the U-Haul facility on Altama Avenue on Tuesday, 02 May. When I went to pickup the truck on 03 May at another facility, I was upgraded to a 28-foot truck. I did not want a big truck!! The manager at the Altama Avenue facility did an excellent job in finding me a 15-foot truck at the Altama Storage Company. I sincerely appreciated her assistance!! The person assisting me at the Altama Storage Company was extremely helpful and I appreciated his professionalism!!
CHARLES WMy original pick up places was Sherrie boxes in Brunswick ga. She was closed the day I went to pick up my reserved uhaul. I ended up missing my movers. And then was sent to 60 Scranton connector. After missing my movers. Uhaul set me up with a storage unity. When I got to the storage unit I was told it be free for one month. They were closed. I thr. Called uhaul customer services back and they set me up with another place called storage by the sea in Brunswick. They were open but they did not offer the free month like the uhaul person assured me they would. So I had to come out of pocket 160$ to get a storage unit from a place I was told by uhaul customer service that would be free for one month. I whole heartedly expect a full refund in my storage unit that I was lied to about and for the truck because I ended up missing my scheduled movers due to all of these extenuating circumstances uhaul created

WALTER SI paid for a dolly rental and was not provided one. I did the after hours pick up; according to customer service someone was supposed to call me the day before to confirm, which they didn't, resulting in a 2 hour delay of my rental. They also texted me the day before to ask me to attach a trailer to the truck I rented because a family in my drop off location needed one, which I declined. At first they offered the trailer for free and when I declined they offered me $25 which I also declined. I would like to have s refund for the dolly I did not receive and a refund of the gas ($13 and some change), as I filed up the tank to exactly, if not more, than what I had picked it up as. I emailed my issues with no response and called customer service. I was on hold with customer service for over an hour.
Brittany LWas upgraded at the last minute to a larger truck that I did not need. More gas cost and harder to maneuver in tight spaces. No issue on the part of Altama Storage, they were great!

Sheila TI was directed from a man coming from the building to just leave keys in the truck and he will pull it and take care of it he didn't need anything from me later I received additional charges for gas I paid for my gas and return truck on the same amount of gas it had in it when I got it I was also charged a late fee for supposedly the payment not going through on the 18th but it was never declined on my bank account then on July 2nd I received charges for when I inquired about it was told that they took a picture of the gas gauge showing it did not have enough gas in it at 2:02 though I did not return the truck until 2:52 and that was when it was returned I got no answers of why a picture that was took at 2:02 of a gas gauge I was charged for when I still have the truck and had gas receipts and didn't return the truck until almost an hour later it was very poor customer service they did not check the truck out with me have me sign anything and seems to be the truck could have been driven by one of the employees or anyone at that matter because they just wanted me to leave the key in there because he was in the parking lot busy with someone I will never use this location again I have used U-Haul in the past several times I have never had any of these issues this was very disappointing and unexpected and it's caused me to be out of funds through the holiday there is no reason why I should have been charged on July 2nd for gas and late fee on a truck that was dropped off on June 18th and especially when the picture of the gas gauge was took before I drop the truck off they're obviously some dishonest employees at this location that has impacted my family and in the future will look for other rental services
