Customer service was good, however i was brought to the wrong truck and the key didn't fit. Then I had to go back to the office with my two kids, and the lady wasn't in the office, so we wondered around looking for her in the facility and she finally came back and I told her what happened. Had to go in the office to double check stuff. She eventually found our truck that was apparently parked in the wrong parking spot. When she opened the front door of the truck that she drove over to us IT WAS DIRTY. SO WE had to wait even long while she cleaned it real quick. All this took over 30 minutes! Total always goes form $25 to over $75 because of what? An extra 5 miles? But if you put in too much gas you dont get any money or credit back for that. Not doing that again. False advertising

I had accidentally left my moving blankets outside in the parking lot, after taking pictures of the U-Haul truck for the online check in. Bobbie found them, secured them, called me, and was kindly waiting for me to pick them up. I have rented from this location about 3-4 times and will continue to go to this location! Thank you Bobbie!

Susan S | Overall ExperienceIt took about 15 minutes to get the key out of lockbox 2. I could not pull the little sliding door down due to the key jamming it. I tried calling the uhaul number on the app that is specifically for "if you are unable to access keys." The wait time was over 30 minutes. Just not an ideal situation for a single woman in the dark at a closed facility.
Charlotte BWhen I first obtained this storage unit yearrs ago, it was for my son who was in college. I knew I wanted a climate controlled unit that would fit his needs...and my budget. The example unit on site gave me just what I needed to see in order to go ahead and secure a unit. I have been happy with everything about AmeriStor since that day. I would have stayed with them, but my son moved. Outside of a few crickets and dust accumulation on the floor from in/out use over time, there was nothing to sweep; the closure was easy. Thanks again, AmeriStor, for excellent service! I know who to turn to again should I need storage.

MARK KMost condescending woman (Cathy) ever served me. She didn't say hello, just started by asking if I filled out the link she texted me. I hadn't. The link wasn't working and when I told her, she started telling me to close out my browser apps on my phone, offering to show me how. Kept stating that was why link wouldn't work. I did and it still didn't work. She also explained my phone was like a little computer. I am a 57 year old man with a college degree, who has been in the corporate world since I was 22. I have never been spoken to like this. She also wanted the specific address I was traveling to, which I had given on the request, but she wanted the street address. Then she said she would need a reference to call and told me be sure they answer, because I am calling. Finally, this was not my original pick-up location. It was changed from Georgetown to Killeen because they didn't have the right trailer and U-Haul emailed and told me I'd need to go to Killeen a day earlier to get it. When I got the trailer, the guy attaching it explained I must have requested to pick up in Killeen. I explained U-Haul sent me there and he told me I was wrong, that I requested Killeen. I have written 1 review in my life, but doing so now because the customer service was terrible. Please call if you have any questions.
GREGORY JHad to use this location after the one on E. Central Texas Expressway U-Haul did not have my reservation and told me that I needed to call the 1-800 number to find out what U-haul could do for me. Brenda stated that it was me that needed to be deescalted and calmed and the employee acted correctly. (Long story short).
