You picked at every charge you could I can not believe an in town one day uhaul could ever charge this much!! Your location is a scam! Amongst that your customer service is non existent between phone and email! I will make sure everyone knows to pick a different location! I hope you enjoy your holidays! 200 for a day rental your a joke

I required a cargo van for a Sunday moving event. Made my reservation over the phone with a live customer service rep on noon Saturday understanding that the business hours are closed on Sundays. Was given details as to the after hours pick up and drop off. Seemed simple. Fast forward to picking up my uhaul vehicle Saturday night with the plan to return Sunday p.m. Got to the location 6 p.m. and made sure to have my cellphone locator turned on. Followed all the steps to gain access to the key box. Website kept bringing me back to the home page. Said I had no reservations even though I had my confirmation # in the system! Called the traffic rep. He was condescending at best. Seemed like he was thinking that I didn't know how to navigate the website. It is now dark, raining and cold. The location was far removed from town and I was beginning to feel uneasy about this parking lot. Pitch dark here with just one flickering light over the lock box made the whole scene quite disturbing. It's now 7 p.m. and the customer service rep was beginning to sound very frustrated ( as was I) there was no "pick up my truck" anywhere on the website. Service rep admitted he'd never done this after hours pick up so after an hour he said he was going to transfer me to someone else. It's now 7p.m. I'm ready to give up out of frustration. My husband is texting wondering what's going on. I'm in tears feeling like somehow I am screwing this "simple process" up. I'm still waiting to be transferred to a different customer service rep. Who never comes on line. I've been disconnected! I call the traffic number again and no one answers because they close at 7. Feeling like the rep who couldn't help me over the hour we were on line together wanted to go home and just disconnected. Must have had plans for his Saturday night....I gave up and drove back home without my uhaul van. My husband then called your help line and spent yet another HOUR on hold waiting for assistance. Finally got a very helpful woman on line who found the problem. Had nothing to do with me or my lack of understanding the process. Someone from Uhaul had not entered something for the original reservation. We waited until the next morning to go back and everything worked as it should have. This experience was very time consuming and I was made to feel like an idiot when it clearly was not any fault of my own. Will not recommend sending customers out after hours until your service reps understand the process themselves!!!! Ugh.

The staff was kind and friendly, and I felt like I was listened to. That being said, the instructions for retrieving the u-haul were vague at best. The rental was scheduled for 7am, and I didn’t get to retrieve it until someone was on site at 9am. The cab and storage area of the U-Haul stank of marijuana, and it subsequently made our furniture and belongings stink as well. Two stars, filthy rental, vague instructions, friendly service.

Counter person was only going to allow 41 miles for move to eagle point. Had to argue to increase miles to 61. The google map between two points is not applicable. You need to allow miles to get to moving address & gas station.

Website says queen mattress and box spring fit in van. Costco ones fit only with severe effort by four people. Two had a rough time getting them out. Bolt protruding from jack area nearly tore the mattress. It could cause injury. If it was my van I would fix that Day One.

No problem with drop-off. Donna was helpful to give us a phone call later in the day letting us know that the truck turn-in was fine so we didn't need to worry about any communication to the contrary. Appreciated her thoughtfulness in going the extra mile to notify us.

The transmission/engine on the truck really needs work. Steering wheel is shaky as all get up. But the truck was clean and customer service was great other than condition of truck.

The trk had antifreeze leak in the cab of trk made my son sick.front left tire had bad wobble my drop of location and time was changed from what I scheduled I requested 2 days and was harassed after one day got 6 phone calls about returning the trk and that o had better return it to the new location or else got called after I returned it and told I still need to return it. Not very happy will not be refuring uhall to my friends

Only had one truck. Gas light was on when I got it. Smelled like cigarettes and the back of the truck smelled like gas. Lady was very rude and has called me back to back several times for gas payment I don’t think I should pay!

I reserved a trailer called 3 times throughout the two weeks before I picked up and never got a confirmation or an email telling me where to pick it up. I had to do it all on my own. Finally when I tracked down the address on the way out to Southern Oregon from Portland there is only 6 of the 12 pads I requested ahead of time. I was assigned one trailer, the blinkers didn't work. When I took another trailer tail lights didn't work. Overall very poor management.

Clean the trailer. I was told to go find a trailer and hook it up. I hooked up the first trailer only to find that the lights did not work. I unhooked the trailer checked the lights on the second one before hooking up and then determined that the ball lock was corroded and would not lock properly. The third trailer I hooked up everything worked. I am not on the payroll and should not be doing any of this work. The only assistance was a lady with a small infant on the counter.

After 3 phone calls to find a UHaul dealer that would accept my trailer in return, we were happy to find this location. They did not need any trailers but graciously accepted ours efficiently and easily on a rainy OR afternoon. Thank you!

Overall I am happy with my experience however I originally reserved a location that was actually on the same streets to and from my storage. Instead the reservation was changed to a different location. The original location from my house would have been .6 miles and the new location was 3.9 miles away from my home. That was almost 6.5 miles further that I was charged for. Also I was charged a cleaning fee of $5 and a vehicle license recovery fee of $1 that was never informed about. I rented the truck with 3/8 of a tank of gas. I returned it with a 1/2 tank of gas and it was returned Saturday 10/8/16 by 8 pm. If it is ok for someone to charge these extra fee's I should be paid for the additional gas and the rental being returned before it was due back.

I needed a 10ft truck but the only available trucks were 20ft. So I had to pay the price of a 20ft for a closet full of goods.. really overpaid.

The alternator failed, the service was late. We had to spend the night in Willows CA because the mechanics had to run to Chico CA to get the part. The Brakes were worn, the windshield wipers were shot, the heater was defective and the lights were dim. The radio was also defective. The mechanics missed several times they were supposed to arrive and we ended up waiting til 2:00 in the afternoon. When they did arrive, they saw that the ball joints and housings for the steering column were shot and there was tape around other electrical connections. They commented on the lack of proper maintenance for this truck. It was a nail biting drive through the mountains near Weed CA and Yreka CA. We won't be doing that again!

This was supposed to be a secure facility, and yet it's a 24-hour drop off location with no way to lock/secure the trailer. My opinion is that all trailers should come with a designated lock for drop-off. I was forced to leave the trailer on the lot unlocked and unattended, after which 11 days passed before the trailer could be checked in. I received multiple phone calls attempting to clarify where I dropped it off. This should not happen. Returned equipment should be checked in immediately or the very next day.

This was the worst uhaul location I have every dealt with. The employee that was at this location was very rude and flat out lied to me. I will NEVER use this location every again.

I reserved a truck in January, called and confirmed in June, and called and confirmed again two days before I needed the truck, with the response being that yes, they did have a truck for me. I got a phone call the morning I was to pick it up and they said they didn't have a truck, and had been looking for one for a week, and couldn't find one. This created a big problem and wasted many hours of my time.

No one explained anything about the charges and I was completely shocked by how much it cost. The size truck I was repeatedly assured was reserved for me was Not. They gave me a different size, but it was much more difficult to deal with. There also was not one word about how to drive, or operate the truck whatsoever. When I inquired about how to turn off the tow/hitch, the person did not know what it was.
