SAILUSHA SWhen we dropped off the trailer in their lot and then went inside to talk to the Ameristop attendant, he said we had to come back the next day since it was after 8pm. My reservation said this was a 24/7 drop off location. I had already disconnected the trailer. He did not bother to tell me to use the Uhaul app to return the trailer. He was not helpful or friendly. I will not go to that location again. I called Uhaul customer service and realized I could use the app to return the trailer.

JIMMY MThe 6’x12’ trailer I rented leaked water and several boxes and a bed mattress were wet upon arrival. Also, the bigger trailers need hitch lifts…I dang near broke my back unhooking it from the ball.

JAMES BTold them about the problems with their truck, they appeared to not have known. Small selection there anyway. Might rent a trailer again but not certain about a truck.
SARAH BClean the truck. Make sure check engine light isn't on. Make sure gas tank is full. Hire someone who can communicate in English.

WENDELL AHave someone to help you hook up the trailer. Not a cashier from the quick mart gas station. Plus she tried to over charge me. The quoted price was of 29.99. She tried to charge me 251.00. I’ll never rent from there again.

Stan LThe first truck that we reserved had the check engine light on. The rental place was not aware of the problem. There was not another sane dude truck available so we had to get a smaller one. The smaller truck had the tire pressure light on. We had to check all the tires ourselves and pay for air. The light did not go out. The agent was not helpful and we spent an hour dealing with the change so list an hour in moving time. Also the window seal on the driver side is broken on the second truck so the noise was terrible when driving. Finally I had requested checking with the ap but still had to go inside to the counter both times. Meaning we had to walk a busy road several times to get to the inside location which is separate from where the trucks are. The employees were friendly but definitely not uhaul experts

Melissa LTrailer wasn’t inspected. We had swept it and ensured it was cleaner than we had received it. Employee had us drive it across the street to drop it off and didn’t accompany us to disconnect it.
Andrea RThis was the rudest experience I have ever had at a U-Haul dealer. I will never go to this location again. They tried to charge me double and had to argue with them until they finally got it fixed. No hello or how are you today. I had to hook up my trailer. They didn’t even check the lights. When I returned the trailer I called because the office is across the street, no one ever bothered to come out. Thankfully I could use the U-Haul app to check it back in. Worst U-Haul location I have ever been to!
Jeff HThe hours are very convenient. I was very disappointed that I was told I could have it for 2 days knowing I would be a couple hours over that. But ended up being charged for 3 days.
Tim SThe last time I rented a truck (from a different location), I picked up the truck after hours, and I had to go through an online check-in process using my phone that required me to confirm the vehicle and its condition. This time, the guy just checked me in and gave me the key. I asked him, “So do I just go, or do I have to inspect the vehicle for damages, take photos, or do anything online? I had to do that once before when I picked up a vehicle after normal business hours. Is the check-in process different when it’s during normal business hours?” There was a strong language barrier, and I couldn’t understand his answer (but I know he didn’t tell me that I was going to receive a text message that guided me through the process), so after a few attempts to understand him, I just gave up and left. It wasn’t until I got to my house that I noticed that I had received a text message about the check-in process, so I had to drive back to the pick-up location to complete my check-in, since it uses location data.
CHRISTOPHER MThe associate hooked up the trailer to our truck and told us he had to be the one to secure the trailer. When we loaded the trailer the associate had not tightened the ball onto the hitch and it damaged our vehicle. The manager took pictures of the damage for his personal documentation and told us he would not file a claim. After telling us he wouldn’t file a claim he also told us it was his associated first time hooking a trailer. A claim was filed through U-Haul and we are awaiting review.
Allison WI was double charged for my rental even though it was turned it well before my agreed upon time the location waited 3 hours after drop off to close it out and charged another day rental to card.

dave cThis location was very convenient for me. The employees were every courteous and helpful. My only complaint is that there seemed to be an extra charge on my invoice. I had it at 19.99/day which was for 4 hours. I brought the vehicle back around 5 minutes late mainly due to my buying gas to re-fill truck at their location. Instead of the 19.99 it looks like I got charged 40.00. That seemed pretty ticky tacky for bringing the truck back in 4 hours 5 minutes. Otherwise it was a good experience and I would probably return to this location.
