KELLIE BTo Whom It May Concern, I am writing to express my concern regarding the service I received at one of your gas station locations while renting a U-Haul truck. On the first day, I picked up the truck alone. As a woman who is 5 feet tall and under 100 pounds, I found it difficult to handle the equipment on my own. Unfortunately, the employee on duty was extremely rude and unhelpful. He made no effort to assist me in loading the dolly into the truck, nor did he provide any basic instructions on how to operate or open the truck’s rear door. Additionally, the truck was not filled with gas, despite protocol. I called your customer service that same day to report the poor service and the incomplete gas tank. When I returned the truck the following day, the same employee displayed an even more unprofessional attitude. When I politely asked about the gas level to ensure I wouldn’t be overcharged, he told me he would not help because I had previously called to file a complaint. When I informed him that I might need to escalate the situation again due to his behavior, he became aggressive and told my daughter and me to leave the store in a very disrespectful manner. We were both in shock by his conduct. Based on this experience, I do not believe this individual is an appropriate representative for the U-Haul brand. I hope this issue will be reviewed seriously, as no customer should be treated this way. Sincerely, Lydiette Quinones
LYDIETTE QI was told where to park it and never offered any help

Anthony AThe Owner was very helpful with the app. The Truck was almost brand new!!
Tony AReservation system gave me a reservation across town from the location I picked because my storage unit was next to that site. I go to pick up the truck and they don't have any. M that's when I am told that the reservation was mean at a u-haul center on the other side of town. I was unable to use that resolution because the distance away and I had to wait till the next day and by that time I had lost my two helpers so I didn't do it myself. This made the trip I'm moving all my things so much more difficult and so much more time-consuming cuz I really help me. And so the reservation balloon twice the price because of their mistake I'm in my reservation for 17th Street and they switched it to across town on South 14. I had to accept the reservations the next day and my helpers were not there because they're unable to. I think this was a big mistake that caused me to spend a lot more money than I should have. This is no reflection of the business where I picked up and dropped off the truck. This is not a reflection of me place where I picked up and dropped off
Michael GI made my reservation two weeks in advance with the location on US 41 as my preferred pickup. I received confirmation and notification that I would receive a confirmation call the weekend prior to picking up my truck. While I received several texts and calls from Uhaul trying to get me to tow someone else's trailer behind my truck, I never received the call to confirm my pickup location and instead received a text the day before I was due to pick up my truck that the location had changed to this one on Clark. When I went to pick up my truck, the attendant had no record of my reservation. When I provided the reservation number, he told me it had been cancelled. He was then able to find a new reservation under my name but it was for a local move and for 1 day when I had reserved a truck for a one-way trip for 5 days. He said he was able to provide the truck for what I needed and asked for my credit card. I provided all my information (starting address, ending address, email, phone number, etc), and then he handed me the keys. There was no mention of rates or questions about insurance, etc. I asked if the truck had the equipment in my original reservation and he said "no." I asked if he had the equipment I had reserved available (1 utility dolly, 1 furniture dolly, and furniture blankets), and he told me all of his equipment was in the bathroom and I could go look and see what he had. Shocked, I went to the restroom area to find one old utility dolly, two appliance dollies, and a pile of blankets. I took the one dolly that I needed and hoped the building I was moving into would have the other dolly I needed. He then told me we had to start the process all over to charge me for the equipment. I had to provide my information all over again for what was the 3rd or 4th time by this point, and then have the $1,200 charge placed on my card a second time. The truck had clearly not been inspected or cleaned. There was a parking permit from a marina inside from the previous user which matched up with the huge amount of beach sand all over the cab floor and seats. The windows and mirrors were so dirty I had to clean them inside and out before starting my trip. The windshield had a chip in the mirror. The transmission dash light was on. I've moved many times and used Uhaul without issue many times in the past. This was a very disappointing experience and I would steer anyone I could away from this location until they fix their issues. Uhaul corporate also needs to address the issues from their end.
Matthew KExcellent 👍
Milagros QHello I was scammed at this location I only drove around 20 miles and was charged for 45.5 miles. I was also charged $45 for insurance that I did not include in my reservation. I looked at this location on Google and this guy has done this to multiple people the same exact scam tactic I was charged $200 when I should be about half.I will never use U-Haul ever again and I will advise my family and friends to be aware this location is horrible!
Michael CProvide gas cards for customers to purchase, tire service ,
DANA GPicked up the truck, had trouble w check in, agent asked for my phone and apparently checked me in, gave me a key w none of the usual questions asked at other locations, handed me the key and said I was good to go. Upon starting the truck there was a very loud noise which got louder when brakes applied, I went back to the agent and informed him of the issue and my concern especially with the brakes. He advised it was not a problem and sent me on my way. I was so nervous I cut my trip short only driving 11 miles and returned the truck early. The same agent said he would check the truck later even though he was not busy, w nobody in the store or at the pumps. I was surprised at my final bill being charged for 3 gallons of fuel $12.15 and Safe Move insurance $15.00 that I never get & pretty sure I opted out when reserving the vehicle online. I also advised the agent he should not rent that truck out until it was repaired (UNSAFE!)
John CVehicle was dirty {interior) I picked the vehicle up just after Hurricane Milton. Since there was no power at the location, I took the truck with no contract. I was to;d the truck would run 29.95 per day plus milage 1.25 per mile. After returning the truck. I asked for a reciept. I was told that it would be emailed. I said ok, After leaving I found an email with the invoice. I was charged $150 for insurance which was unauthorized and also a $20.00 After hours fee? Seriously? It wasnt after hours. I expect a refund for these 2 eronious charges. I feel this to be a deceptive practice on the part of the vendor at this location.
selwin oThe location is a gas station and the clerk that sells sodas, beer and gasoline also is a UHaul representative and that part of the gig is treated like inconvenience. If you are renting a UHaul, you will have to wait until anyone buying gas or items from the store are all serviced, even if they came into the store after the renter of a truck. When the gas station customers are taken care of, then UHaul can be rented. Even after the clerk finally starts processing the rental transaction and another gas station customer comes in to get any items or gas, the clerk stops the renting process and tells the renter to step away and the others take priority. Very strange experience, seemed like UHaul customers were second class customers and a nuisance. The strange customer service practices could be ignored, but on top of that I was told that a renting rate was $29 for up to 24h, to be charged $59 for 2 periods, even though it took less than that. I picked up and dropped off the truck during regular operating hours, but still they charged me $20 fee for after hour service! The same clerk assisted me on both afternoons, Saturday and Sunday, and charged me double rate and after hours fee, which blatantly was not the case, because we discussed the terms related to all matters. If this was a deliberate attempt to commit fraud then, I think some action should be taken. In either instance, whether UHaul is deliberately steals money from customers or it was a error from the lack of care or competence, please credit me back the fees and overcharged daily rental rates. The experience undoubtedly made me want to first try other providers than UHaul in the future.
Domink OStop gouging people after a natural disaster! I have a hard time believing all 35 trucks were rented out. Why did I have to go 5 miles away to get a truck when there’s 35 trucks at my local. I guess budget will have my business. Do better U-Haul!!!
John MNot charge $33 for 1 gallon of gas. Last time I use U-Haul

Tim KBe more transparent regarding costs. These sneaky Indians try to hide behind a language barrier.
