Though I reserved online for remote checkin, the app kept timing me out, and I had to checkin inside the convenience store. I reserved a dolly, but this location doesn't have one. I was charged for one anyway and told I would have to call a # for a refund. The check engine and low tire pressure lights were on in the truck, as well as a message to check some sort of stabilizer. The Amoco clerk indicated that "the UHaul man" was already aware of these issues. There was also broken glass in the cargo area. Altogether, an unacceptable experience.Lisa H.

Tongues of trailers are pretty heavy with no tongue jack. The 12x6 was tough for me to lift up(I'll be 64 this month and had neck surgery in November) I went by my house and got my floor jack to jack it up and take off my hitch...otherwise no problem.Stewart U.
I rented a trailer...6x12...I had to lift thevtrsioer myself to attach to hitch on car...did nit have the support that trailers have to lift and lower...and there was no help at all...you sent an email about inspection and there was no one there to inspect...I was afraid the whole time since i was not sure i attach the trailer correctly....you need to do better...some wiman have no men in their lives...my back is still in pain from lifting the trailer to be able to attach an unattachedJadelyn C.

Two complaints: 1. Arrived to find no blankets I had reserved 2. When reserving the site asks for an estimated time you need the vehicle. It also says that you are renting for one day. I was not pleased to find out that I was being held to the estimated time I put and would have to pay triple my daily rate extra if I needed to keep the vehicle 8 hrs instead of the 6 I had estimated! Wording needs changing on the website!Darrell D.

I got in the truck and there was only a half tank of gas. I had already started driving by this time so I didn't go back. I ended up driving 14 miles and had to fill the tank to avoid a charge.Daniel G.

We went to the location because we needed questions answered and uncertainties cleared up. When I asked who I needed to speak with regarding a U-Haul, I was told to go online. I went online, rented to truck, but my questions were not addressed, One of my questions was related to the amount of time we had with the truck. We were under the impression that we could only keep the truck for 6 hrs so we only asked for the truck until 530 pm. This was an hour later than the 6 hrs, but were not told we could keep the truck until we were done for the day. When I called to inquire about returning the truck later, we were charged another day's rent. We had no choice but to pay it. We had no clue how long we were going to need the truck and while I did repeatedly ask about late fees or what would happen if we needed to keep the truck longer, I did not get a clear answer until we were told we would be better off renting it for another day. I wound up paying for 2 days use when I used that truck less than 24 hrs.Belinda M.

This Amoco store is extremely busy. It is convenient as it is close to where I live. You have to always wait to speak with the person behind the counter to pick-up your rental. The folks behind the counter are NOT well versed in U-haul procedures for picking up equipment. There is never any assistance with hooking up or taking photographs of the equipment. I always take photos myself in the event there is any problems.Joe L.
Overall the experience was fine. The price of the use of the equipment is well above what it should be. The price for mileage is double the price to actually rent the vehicle itself. It's unfair to the customer and the price of mileage should be lowered significantly.Khadijah M.

I rented a truck with 1/4 tank of gas and returned it with 1/2 tank and was not reimbursed for that extra gas. I would like a check sent to me for that. the price of gas today, i should have gotten that back.Karen R.

The cashier was nice but had no clue on how to get a truck checked out. Miss Alice The truck was full of roaches when we lifted up the back door! Nobody inspected it! Horrible Horrible! The employee at the pick-up store did not know how to checkout/issue the trailer when I picked it it up. I received a call 4 days later from the store owner who properly â€œopened/started the rentalâ€ after the trailer had already been dropped off in TN. Also, the trailer light cord was too short to reach the jack on my vehicle. I had to borrow a cord from another trailer being returned to make the lighting connection.Joe L.

There were so many issues with this rental. The condition of the trailer and the fact that the trailer I reserved was not available are only the beginning issues. The trailer was not maintained and not cleaned. There were lights (running) that did not function. When I asked for help in getting the trailer attached to my vehicle, I was told that it was â€˜against policy' for the attendant to help with or actually hookup the trailer. I was told at the receiving station that it was actually the â€˜company policy' that the staff hook up the trailer and take pictures when they completed it and that the picture was to be attached to the contract. None of that happened. The trailer was filthy on the inside as it appeared the previous renter used it to haul construction material. There was over an inch of concrete mix and stone on the entire bed of the trailer. Had it not been for the fact that I needed the trailer at that time for a move to Manlius, NY I would have not taken it. I was stuck. It was the only trailer on the lot. I am hoping that whomever reads this will contact me for any additional information. If I do not hear from someone, I will contact the Corporate Offices. This is a convenient mart and only one person manning the store. The owner wanted her to photo the back of the truck and the mileage and gas gauge. I assured for her it was done and the gas correct (i had purchased $10 to cap it off just moments before and recorded the mileage. Otherwise all was well.DAVID T.
Very simple drop off procedure, we only had to park the truck, drop the keys in a drop box, and we were good to go. And it was a gas station which was convenient for replacing the fuel before drop off.Eric R.

Worst U-Haul location I have ever used. Don't use this location will not be treated fairly. The manager gave me the worst Truck on the lot. I didn't realize the damage of the truck until I got home. Very Dirty on the inside and the back door handle was broken. Overcharged me, the rental should have been free for one day, the condition that the truck was in. I rented the truck for two days, I returned it in one due to the condition I didn't keep it but one day. They still charged me for two days!!!BRENDAFAYE W.

Keep your word. I never received a call informing me that my pick up location and time had been charged. This inconvenienced me by 2hrs, putting me under great pressure because i had only 4hrs of time.Tommy L.
The manager was nice and did what he could. The cashier was unhelpful and the whole process started when the lady I made the reservation with reserved dollies that this location didn't have!!! And the website was uncooperative! UHaul is a terribly organized company! I feel bad for the good people that work for them. Like I said the manager tried to get the equipment we needed but I was still 40 minutes late getting g to the house because it took One hour to get the mess straightened out at the pickup location on Nash Street , Wilson NCSANDRA W.
