I reserved a truck along with a furniture dolly and an appliance dolly. When I received the call that morning I should have been informed that there were none available. I had to meet the person at a Sheetz location because their office was on a landfill. She was much late considering that the uhaul was scheduled for a certain time. That's when she informed me that she was out of a dolly but did not say both. I got to the storage to find out I had none to work with. I had to them hunt one down at two different locations. I told her she should have told me that on the morning when she called. Although I was not charged extra for the gas; she had the gas needle higher than what it was. To which I was surprised that it was not at least on half. The truck seemed old. It had problems shifting gears. I am glad that I have left NC behind.

Uhaul in King NC (Marlen) was one of the best experiences with Uhaul that I have ever encountered. Can't tell you how pleased I am/was with Marlen and Uhaul. Will definitely use them/her again the next time I need Uhaul's services.

I showed up to drop off at the address provided and the store was closed for good. There was a sign that said they had moved with a phone number. I called and got no answer, message said to try texting the number. I texted the number and had to wait a significant amount of time for a response. I was instructed to drive to. New location that was difficult to access on a main road. All in all the turn in was unsatisfactory.

i had left this location pleased, however after getting up and looking for a uhaul. 4 different places to be exact. this was my last straw. couldnt find what i needed, had to be placed in an oversized truck 26' instead of the 15' i was looking for at the cost of a 15. also needed a car trailer. left this location with intentions of packing and leaving and getting to my destination early next morning.. packing was on schedule. loaded and on my way to destination..1 hr in and bam back left rear tire blows apart on i-85. approximately 1130pm once i get to the shoulder assess the damage i call the uhaul help line. lady answers explains to me she will locate help and call me back within 5 min. in the mean time im to help by uploading pictures and here is my estimated wait time on the app. an hour goes by i call another operator explain to them the situation again and that the app has had 15 pepole open my case with no update or help. she tells me to hang tight she will call back in 5 to 10. i trust her meanwhile as o sit and wait as far away from the white line on the road i can get which is only inches as the blow out happened and all i could do was get as close to the guardrail as possible. semis and other vehicles are sometimes getting real close to rearending me or side swiping me. now it is almost 2 i call back same issue tell the operator my issue she says same thing ill call back in 5 to 10 min. and same result no call back or help, i let another hr pass as im trying to trust they are working dilegently. at this time i had explained we may be now getting tired and need to get food and hotel. they say we can reimburse you for your troubles... just upload any reciepts you have and you will be reimbursed. i say i could be almost home and have an interview with very high paying job at the space center in my location. they said they will understand if you cant make it im sure otherwise you probably shouldnt work there. so now 3am 4hrs since blow out jordan answers and tells me he is doing all he can to make sure i get off the road before he goes home. he works diligently to try for another hr and cannot. he calls me back at 4am and tells me he has done everything he can to help out. and explains to me to locate a hotel and to call back so they can locate a tow service to detach the trailer and meet me at a hotel im supposed to pay for be reimbursed and tow truck will then drop trailer in parking lot and tire can be fixed sometime in the morning. finally about 430 sue calls back after i done what jordan instructed and lets me know she has good news and bads news good news they found a tire and rim and person was on the way. bad news he wont be here for another 90 min. says best thing i heard allday and explained again may need hotel and food since the tire changer now wont be there till we would have been an hr away from our destination at this time. dude comes changes tire and we are back on the road at 630am. pissed off, tired 30 hrs later in my destination, missed a very costly interview and now i have to do all this typing that someone else should do. still waiting on my 72 hr call as i really would like to submit all these reciepts i still have in moving, unpacking and packing ridiculous. when someone does answer i would like all my money back for this entire wasted service.

Worn out trailer. Didn't pull right from the time I picked up. Slideup door almost broke my arm. You had to get into trailer to push door back down. I unloaded it and took back. VERY DISAPPOINTED ENTIRE time, I returned it a few hrs later.

I woke up this morning to an addition 94$ charge to me bank after paying 104$ I didn't even go over my expeactex mileage and I returned the vehicle with a full tank this is complete bullshit and will not use this location again

My only issues were small things but would have made experience perfect. 1. If the gas tank is full when I pick up the truck, then I know I just have to fill it back up before I drop it off and I'm not trying to guess how much gas I will use in the process. I wasn't sure and ended up leaving more gas in there then there was when I got it. 2. I picked up via my cell phone and the button for "Ready to pickup" was not there, I ended up figuring it out, but someone with less experience or not as handy with phones they have struggled a lot more. Also, side note, I don't leave my location on on my phone and that is necessary for picking up vis cell phone.

We got hit with a $25 cleaning fee, which I'm not sure about. The truck was returned cleaned out. Staff was friendly enough.

The trailer was dirty. She had another 5 X 8 trailer but wait was for local behind it. I thought she'd never get the trailer hooked up and she even called another place for me to go that was out of my way. She finally spoke with someone who told her what to do to get it hooked up. Nice lady, but she had no Wd 40 or anything to help with the hitch. Very dirty trailer!

This has nothing to do with the facility—it has to do with the check in process with the app. Ridiculous. The lady at this location was very nice And offered to help even though it was after hours. We didn't need her help but it was very nice of her to offer.

I only drove this truck less than 150 miles & returned it to same location I picked it up from instead of Lake Worth, Fl. I did have the truck for 6 days but no where the mileage on it. AND I WAS CHARGED $1035.19. This is one reason I would NEVER RECOMMEND U-Haul rental to ANYONE. THIS IS NOTHING BUT A RIP OFF. Every one I have talked with says they will never rent from you guys & I will see to it that this gets around as much as possible. I truly think I need a refund. I have tried several several times to get in touch with Kevin at 336-894-3464 and he can't even return my phone calls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The truck cab had dog hair all over and I'm allergic, and the cargo area of the truck needed to be swept. Also, just as the clerk was leading me to the truck, she stopped and made me wait while she waited on an approaching customer. It made no sense to me; why not complete with me and let the second customer wait a few minutes? Especially since I had movers coming!

There was no jack/lift to raise the ‘tongue' so me and wife had to manually lift!!!! Also the parking lights did not work - realized this after it got dark and I had to turn on my lights. There were no clearance lights ‘safety'

By the time we dropped off the truck, of course the place was closed. And then just to make a bad experience worse, the uhaul website wasn't working correctly so we couldn't complete the return. We tried 3 different phones and the part where it asks to share your location so it knows you're dropping off at the right location wouldn't work (and yes, our phones were all set to allow uhaul to access our location). Overall horrid experience.
