The lady at this office was beyond helpful!! I cannot say enough about this location and the staff here. The owner went above and beyond to help me in my situation and the field manager from this office was also extremely helpful and apologetic, lived up to the mistake that uhaul had made and offered any assistance I needed, this field manager deserves alot of KUDOS!! It's not often when you can own up to the mistake made and offer ways to fix it when you're a big company like UHaul.

I texted Customer Service before I dropped off the car at 2pm the same location I picked it up from. The woman on the chat told me, yeah sure they put it on the record. She asked me the address where I dropped it off. The pick up and the drop off were on the same street. She never checked what the problem could be, and the rental was still active so I had to go back 6am to bring the car to the other location. Also, there was a lot of confusion on my car in general. 2 days before I was called that they don’t have the 26’ car available at my requested location. Afterward I was being offered another location, somewhere in Pottstown, which I agreed to, then that was never confirmed. Then I had to call again to make sure that I will have a vehicle. The changes never reflected the conversation I had. Then somebody told me about Douglassville, which was good because we are actually moving here. When the moving blankets were missing from the truck, I called Customer Service and the woman offered my an alternative location to pick them up from but the first location was 35 miles away, and the second one was 30 minute drive. What I don’t understand is why at least 4 people contact me about this reservation and it is still getting messed up? Then obviously there is lack of knowledge about my location and reservation as a whole, since I am being offered locations that would take me hours to drive to. She told me she will add the extra miles to my reservation. If I did drive to the offered location, my movers would have left and my entire move was about to fail. I had to say to this person since the schedule was already tight. This is not the first time I am using Uhaul, but maybe the last. The lack of interest in solving my problems and just being bored and demotivated during my conversations I had with these people is very upsetting. I am paying hundreds of dollars here, and nobody seems to give a damn what problems I had. I am a very easy going person and don’t mind paying for whatever I need, but if I am paying already, have the decency to at least check on my issue and stop confusing me further and jeopardizing my entire project the least. The amount of confusion about my reservation was unseen, unexpected and truly disappointing. We Move was amazing, they did a fantastic job, but if I had to rely in Uhaul and didn’t triple check everything, the entire move would have failed. I never do this, but these things made my move very frustrating and since you are being the reputable company that you are, I wouldn’t want to have a loyal Customer being ignored or mistreated like this. Let me know if there’s anything you can do to ease the unpleasant experience I had. Maybe a 50% discount of my total truck rental charges could work. Thanks Gabor Gaspar

I had trouble with the app responding so I walked into the office. The woman who helped me and my boyfriend was very helpful, friendly, and professional. I asked when the office hours ended and she said, “12p”. I realized it was 12:15p and I apologized. She never made us feel rushed or uncomfortable. Had I not asked about the hours, I would have never known. So, I just wanted to thank her for her excellent customer service. She made our move that much easier.

The only problem was RR tire did not have enough air in it. It takes 90 PSI to fill the tire. I had to stop 3 times to get the problem with the message coming on the dash to go off.

Update your online reservation app. I reserved a truck and when I got there they said there was no reservation. Lucky they had a truck or I would have went somewhere else. Make it easy to reserve a truck. The more complicated it is the fewer potential clients you will have.

The wrong key was placed in the lockbox, we were supposed to pick up our truck at 6am but had to wait until the store opened at 8:00 to get help. I had to explain the situation a couple times to the employee that assisted us for him to fully understand our situation and it took awhile for him to apologize for the inconvenience. We weren’t impressed with the customer service here but we did eventually get our truck.

The location where I picked up my rental truck there's always clean, I've never met the new owners, I'm sure they're very nice people. The problem I have with the 24/7 share rental is on a Sunday when they are closed, I usually show up a half an hour before my agreement time of pickup, but always seems to take me an hour or more and usually after contacting somebody by phone to help me out with my rental and everything involved with a 24/7 truck share.(Maybe it's just me being 63 years old I'm not very mobile phone savvy)! But thank you to the people that pick up the phone at 7:30 8:00 a.m. to help me pick up my truck rentals

Well the only issue I faced was getting there at 8 and having to use the app to pickup. The issue was more so connectivity I think. As I had to call customer support to finish the pickup.

I have rented 3 times from here. I have requested moving blankets and hand truck. In 2 out of 3 times, I haven't received the equipment. This last time they charged me for the hand truck, even though I emailed them and documented that I didn't receive either of these items. I contacted customer support and they gave me 120 credit. 4 days later, they overcharge me by 120.00 and there is no credit. Now I have to dispute the transaction with my bank.

Truck was fine. Appliance dolly wheel fell off before we could even start moving. Called the office. He could not refund told us to have it removed from charges at drop off. Drop off could not remove the charge either. This entire rental experience was disappointing. Pick up location was changed and out of our area. Drop off location was also changed last minute, on a holiday weekend, and expected us to drive 30 mi. Out of our way to return.

Used for less than 4 hours and still cost well over $225 is insane. Next time I'll have to consider other suppliers. The mileage charge is crazy, the $20 after hours fee is dumb. Yeah, I will use other vendors.

The cup holders were sticky and dirty. The floor mats were visible dirty. The back of the truck was covered in mud upon pick up and I had to cover every single item I put in the truck because of how dirty it was in there. Additionally, my first reservation was not ready for pickup so they had to assign me to this location instead and my pick up time was an hour later than expected.

Very pleasant staff, helpful and honest. Yes I would recommend. The only thing I would say to U-Haul is maybe have cruise control for your trucks. Traveling the distance we did with no cruise control was very hard.

Tell people to come 20-30 minutes before they need the truck unless they’re going when the office is open. The app isn’t hard to use but it takes a bit for the approval to process.

The having to take all the pictures online and spending 20 minutes to return the truck doing all the work a uhaul employee should do. Why do I have to do all the leg work for your employees, with threat of a damn fee even if truck is perfect condition just because pictures were not taken. That was last uhaul I will ever rent. Let’s go Penske!!!

My reservation was moved around. I wasn't able to get a truck where I should have been able to get a truck. I reserved well in advance, and yet I still found myself driving more than an hour to get a truck when my closest U-Haul is just a few minutes away. The app is very slow and clunky, barely functional. Constant bugs, needing to reload, and errors. Even when it wasn't truly buggy, things like having all my pictures rejected because it was too dark, is fairly ridiculous, given that the whole point of the app is so you can pick up your truck outside of working hours. A good visit would have been: One, the truck was where it was supposed to be. Two, the truck was there when it was supposed to be there. Three, a smooth user experience that took 5 minutes instead of 35 minutes++ with the app.

I have used Uhaul a couple dozen times and never had a problem. This time they had me return the truck an hour away from where I needed it. Then we got to the return area and we could barely find room to park it. It is a small parking area. We got it done but shopping around next time.

Rented u haul on day van from Amity Storage. Was so easy and everyone is always so friendly and helpful. Perfect Size Van I used for one day move. Drop off was easy with the app and slowed me to take pic of gas that I refilled. I will be renting again next week. Thank you!

The rear cargo door tensions were very tight and it was difficult to shut the door. When the door was opened it flew up very fast. We managed through it but the rental agency said u haul was aware but has failed to fix it. I spoke to the clerk about this and the concern for other renters.
