JUAN JOSE P.A lot needs to be improved. I tried using the truck share option, which was recommended by the representative I spoke to when I was making the reservation. I even downloaded the app. When I arrived at the location to pick up the truck, the truck was behind a locked fence. I then tried to initiate the truck pick-up instructions on my smartphone by tapping on the notification on my screen from Uhaul to start pick-up. The page froze. Nothing happened. A lady inside the fence who worked there asked if I was here to pick up the truck, and I said yes and told her what happened with the app so she opened the gate (even though she said they were closed, but it shows their hours online are till 5:00 and it was only 3:00) and then she rented me the truck the old-fashioned way. Too bad, because I had high hopes that this new truck share online program would be seamless, but it evidently there are still a number of bugs. I'm not done. The lady said that her lockbox was broken so I couldn't leave the keys in it so I should throw them over the fence by the front door of the office. Well, it was a windy day and my keys only made it half-way (the big plastic Uhaul keychain ornament didn't exactly make the keys arrow-dynamic). I was concerned that someone would see them and get them and steal the truck because the fence wasn't that difficult to jump over, so I had to jump it and put the keys in an empty flower pot near the front door, out of sight from passers-by. That was a fun test of my athleticism/gymnastics ability (and I'm sure a few people watching were wondering what I was doing), but I'm in my mid 40s and wouldn't want anyone any less dexterity to become a victim of circumstance. Let's just say it wasn't exactly an ADA-approved facility after-hours. Where's OSHA when you need them? I'd be happy to give you more detailed information, but you'd probably charge me 99 cents a mile and somehow make it a way bigger commitment than advertised. But Uhaul would do that, would they?

EDUARDO M.Anacapa self storage went above and beyond our expectations with this u-haul rental. The owner was friendly and communicative. She is thoroughly helpful with hooking up the trailer. There was no long wait time to check in and to return the rental trailer. This was exactly what we needed a 5x9 ft. trailer with a ramp. It is rare to find a trailer rental with a ramp at other locations. If we need to make a trailer reservation again we will definitely make it with Anacapa self-storage. Thank you

SANDRA P.Equipment was damaged when I got there they call a mechanic to work on it needed a fender he didn't have one it was damaged the straps were too short because somebody had let them drag them off I had to buy straps do use it on the travel across country tail light fell off of the other finger I had to fix it I got double charged for the equipment finally got the one charge back still have not got my deposit pulled lots of U-Haul equipment over the years but this is the worst piece of equipment I have ever pulled sorry but I'm not satisfied

francisco H.My contract had a drop off address. The E mail that I got from U-Haul was different. If I had dropped off the equipment on the U-Haul suggested I would have to pay $100 fee. It took a long time on the phone to get it straight.
francisco H.My original reservation was at your Fontana location, but when i wen to pick up, they didn't have my trailer and i had to drive an hour to another location. This really screwed up my timeline for the move since i had to be in Phoenix to sign a contract before 5 pm. That said, when I got to the Victorville location, Tiffany was very helpful and had the trailer ready by the time I arrived. At least 50% of my pick up experience was positive.
