We were relocated from 319 main street location to Andersons location, which increased our mileage significantly from where we were headed to load. I asked for a better rate because this switch was not due to us. We were guaranteed $19.99/95 vs $39.99/95 for our 26 ft we reserved. Husband arrived, they raised the rate back to originate rate $39.99/95, even though my husband explained that Michele from Louisville # called me (Dawn) that morning & solidified details/price, then they attempted to give us the wrong size uhaul. I had to call the Louisville # to contact Michelle today Oct. 5, however, Marissa answered, I explainedrate/billing situation, she confirmed with Michelle & confirmed Andersons charged wrong rate, stated they reduced to agreed upon $19.99/95 & would send me an email confirmation, but 12+ hours later I haven't received anything. I will have to call again tomorrow if I do not receive confirmation of accurate rate & billing total by morning. Dawn Owen MorrisGARRY M.

We we given the wrong trailer and it caused a problem when returning to a different location. They accepted the trailer, but had no record of pads being rented. We left them anyway.ROBERT C.

The check out process took close to an hour both times I used it so a quicker check out would be appreciated. The prices advertised are misleading. You're forced to pay for a 2 day rental when only 6-8 hours is needed and requested. That is probably a UHaul policy not Anderson's policy, but it will deter me from renting in the future.GEORGIA H.

Drivers side mirror was loose, wouldnt hold any position, made for some unsafe driving conditions. Overall a quick, easy experience with very friendly staff, would rent again!WESLEY B.
This was by far the absolute WORST experience I have ever had with U haul. The pick up location and drop off location were both completely fine, but the experience having to deal with the U-Haul system was horrible! It took me over one hour 10 minutes to get the system to work to allow me to move on with the truck. It was because of a heavy user load in the system on U haul's end not being capable of dealing with it. I finally was able to get a representative on the phone, to which she questioned my phone service (which was fine and other web pages worked perfectly) then after going through things with her and having to wait at times because her system was slow and experiencing problems as well. In short I spent over an hour waiting in a parking lot because a u haul service end problem, and it ended up costing me additional money and taking a completely unreasonable amount of time. Not like any other I haul experience before.Zack H.

It took a while to even make the reservation due to technical difficulty, a couple of days. Then the pick-up and delivery dates were wrong. It was scheduled for days after I left the state. My mover did not use the amount of furniture pads he should have...lots of damage to my furniture but that is for another review...one of my u-boxes had no lock on it when it arrived, I am missing a box and have no idea where the lock that I paid for is. Things were shaken up so badly that there is more damage than I can list to my items. This move was not a good one. I cannot recommend this service to anyone I know, it was a horrible experience all around.Trina J.
Check equipment closer as it is turned in or delivered. This unit had a tail light held in place with 3 pieces of velcro and 3 plastic tie-wraps while the other tail light had 1 rivet and 2 tie-wraps. Grover remounted both lights correctly with rivets. Great service but delayed availability of equipment. Still, great experience as I was a last minute type rental decision.WARREN S.

On the not applicable that was marked it was because the cab was a little dirty, but we were there to get a 10ft truck and as we were about to complete the paperwork the 15 ft was returned. Being that is what we needed we asked if we could have that one. No fault to Anderson's they were wonderful about the whole process along with switching trucks at the last minute. They were awesome! I did the return process myself, but Emily, I believe her name was, was super helpful and offered to do it for me! I parked the vehicle and was going to do the check-in process before going inside the store to hand off the keys. However, she came outside to me to save me a walk inside the store. The truck was dangerous to drive with the steering wheel turned almost half way to keep it straight. The damage on the divers front panel mad the door not shut or seal correctly. Noise for 6 hours and the door would be dangerous to a normal person lucky I have a military and mechanic background. Sad 1st time renting from UHAULMark H.

Really poor cell service made the pick up and drop off last a lot longer than it should have. The pages from the website had trouble loading, and text messages took longer to come through. The area where the uhaul trucks sit register as a different address, so we had to drive around to the front before we could finish checking in. The location of the black box where you leave the lock was not specifically listed, so we wasted time looking for that as well.Sarah L.

The trailer looked fine so after picking up the uhaul trailer we drove to pick up a motorcycle and found that we couldn't open the uhaul trailer gate. The pin was stuck. I refused to use a hammer since I didn't want to be held responsible for any potential damage. There were no uhauls near us, and it was after hours, so we made other arrangements to get the bike.Theresa C.

Had problems returning truck on the website. Chatted with a lady on U-Haul site and she was helpful but no success. Called 800 number and accidentally chose reservations and lady was VERY rude. Called again and spoke with very pleasant and helpful lady who took care of the issue. Anderson's was great and I will be renting with them again! I still love and trust U-Haul.Helen B.
