To who concern, Very disappointed with the service and customer service. I rent a truck and when I went to pick was rented with someone else already ( I drove 3 hours for it ). I was on the phone for over and hour and when finally return the truck the over charge me because someone again gave the wrong return date . I wish there was a less than zero rating for this because im absolutely appalled at my experience with Uhaul. I reserved a truck in Lloydminster, got a call 24 hours before pick up and was told i have to drive 2 hours to another town to pick it up(Willingdon,AB) only to find out that there is no truck there then was told to drive ANOTHER 30 kms to Andrew,AB to pick up the truck only to find out ITS DOUBLE RESERVED!!! Called Uhaul and they gave me the truck anyways so the other customer would have been put in a similar situation as me now. Now an extra 70$ has been charged to the credit card because of extra kms which i shouldn't have to pay for to begin with. I WANT ALL MY MONEY BACK. UHAUL DOES NOT MAKE MOVING EASIER.chris S.

When we picked up from andrew alberta it was filthy and gross. And had to put 4 power stearing fluid into truck. Had a horrible leak. Worst experience everKathleen H.

The drop off of the truck was ...odd. Just a large empty lot with trucks mo drop box. Had to call Uhaul and spoke to the moast AMAZING lady in Arizon that helped us check the vehicle in on line and was extemely patient and helpful as we had no wifi out in that are. Never saw anyone from uhaul in Andrew though so cant really rate that part.Andrew K.

It is nice to have friendly & accommodation U Haul staff like this fellow was! Also it is great to have a U Haul Depot in a small place like Andrew. It would be excellent if Smoky Lake, Alberta had a U Haul Dealer. ThanksJIM R.
was supposed to pick up truck 5 mins from my home. recieved call two days before move saying i would have to pick the rental truck up about an hour away. this added two hours to my already long day. Rental agency acted like they were doing me a favour by giving me extra milege. Was not very impressed.JOHN C.
Worst moving experience I've had. Ordered trailer from Edmonton several weeks ahead. Days before move no trailer will be available. Phone call from uhaul to tell me one available for me in Devon, phone location absolutley not , no trailer available never was. Uhaul sends email confirming and guaranteeing trailer at Kingsway location. Day before move get call from uhaul saying no trailer at Kingsway location but the have one in Andrew Alberta 2 hour drive away. If I pick up they will adjust price accordingly, have that in email. I drive for 4 hrs to get trailer and return , no price adjustment on trailer, I pay full price. Real Kicker --- next day as I am loading trailer I get a phone call from very first location, wondering why I havent picked trailer up yet. Talk about the right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing.don C.

while the owner of this location said he contacted us, we never did receive that call. It may have been an error on our end, but a voice mail message or follow up call would have been appreciated. We ended up getting our truck very late in the day because this location was 100km from our home and we did not know we had to go there until we showed up at the wrong location looking for our truck.Jesse C.
Having to drive 260 km round trip from Edmonton to Andrew to pickup a trailer which I had reserved five days in advance to be picked up in Edmonton was a pretty rude surprise. I called ahead and had been asked not to arrive for two hours. Then when I arrived at pickup location more than two hours later, we still had to wait 30-40 minutes for the agent to arrive. I feel the service and the rental rates are not aligned very well.curtis F.
The trailer needed to have safety chains removed. The attendant was happy to lay in the mud and snow to help me get my car off the trailer. I was very impressed!ed B.

Ensure that the telephone numbers you are listing are not out of service- had to call to main Edmonton branch and was provided a cell phone. Staff was helpful and admitted an error was made in the vehicle but he quickly fixed up the paperwork and we were on the wayTERRY J.

While this location was acceptable, the process to get there was terrible. I have never before experienced such an unprofessional transaction. We called to book the trailer and the agent sent us to the wrong location for pick up. As we arrived, we were called to the location that actually had our unit, and were told that we had to now drive across town to get it. The customer service person at the wrong location said this happens all the time. As we were travelling to the location across town, that agent called back to say that, because we were not there at scheduled time, the trailer had been given to the next customer in line, even though he knew we were coming to get it. We were then informed that the only trailer available was in this time town of Andrew AB, almost two hours' drive from where we were. My husband went out to get it, and because of all the delays, we needed to cancel several previously held appointments, and this put us almost a day behind in packing. The only bright spot came when they discounted our rental. But, even this we had to fight for, as the Andrew location had no indication that there was any change to the contract price as it did not show up on the computer profile. We had been charged the full price, then I called customer service to make them aware. My husband had already left the location, but was forced to turn around and go back to the office as the refund could not be made over the phone. I have never seen a comedy of errors so profound as these. Nor did I find it at all funny. This experience, while it did in the end get our things where they needed to go, was frustrating and ridiculous!TERESA R.

Coming from Edmonton and returning to edmonton just to get the truck added almost four hours extra driving . The store had an incorrect phone number i had to call uhaul for a correct one . The man in the store was very nice and easy to deal with , and best of all he gave me an extra day we desperately needed ! Happy customersCHAR W.

The truck had less than 1/2 tank of fuel, very dirty. Found bag of cocaine inside the back, got cut on a piece of glass. Handle very poorly and had to add oil which cost me more money and parking and abs lights kept coming on. Couldn't locate the receivers for the passenger seat belts. Truck I believe wasn't even worthy for the road. Only positive was customer service is outstanding.DOUGLAS K.
the pick up location was almost 300 km from our home . it took 3/4 of a tank of gas to drive back to our house to load. the rep on the phone did give us a deal but we were still charged for the tank being returned with 1/4 tank even though we were told we could fill it to where the level was upon arriving at the house we were moving from. we had asked for a 26 foot but had no choice but to take a 20 foot truck which meant we had to leave a lot of our belongings behind. the experience was definitely not good and I will most likely not use u haul in the futureJOHN A.

I was very disappointed with U-haul on this occasion. Online it showed the product I needed near where I was but when I called no one had it. I was told by one location that a trailer was available at another location and when I arrived at the address they gave me there wasn't even a U-haul there. I called the Edmonton central number and they told me that 3 of the locations I had called had them. They then gave me a number for Stoney Plain that was open until 6 according to them and had one. I called the number and it was a cell number, she said they had one but they aren't open until 6 and she was out of town, U-haul is a side business they do by appointment only. U-haul then told me they had some in Andrew and they were open until 9. I called to confirm and he said he had some but he closes at 7. He said he would wait for me to get there, he was very helpful and got me what I needed even though he had to work an hour late. The location they gave me to drop the trailer in Calgary said they had no room so they had to send me to a different location that was closed but he said I could just drop it in the yard. If there was someone else that rented car trailers I would not have been using U-haul, I could have driven back to Calgary and picked up a trailer faster than U-haul found me one in the Edmonton area. The only good thing about this experience was the gentleman who inconvenienced himself to help me in Andrew and U-haul is just a side to his business. I would recommend the Andrew location based on the excellent service even though I wouldn't recommend U-haul.BARRY H.

First off I ordered a dozen blankets and they never had any. The gas tank was half full. Andrew is a small town out of the way so I had to pay a lot of extra mileage why is there no U Haul in Vegreville?DAN D.
