I was told on the phone $1 per/km but they charged me $1.59. And vehicle was not clean. There was food in the vehicle and there was smell of food and other things in driver cabin.

Clean and proper functioning vehicle as the head lights were not working and washer fluid was empty dry

STUART DTo start with the mobile checking did not work as intended, I could not proceed the check in when I selected the truck was not clean. The truck is parked elsewhere from the location. The fuel Guage showed more fuel when I started the vehicle and it dropped drastically as soon as I started driving it. Engine light came on which means it was not maintained
Pratik BI picked up a truck that was covered in snow and couldn’t inspect it properly. The next day at my job the hood wasn’t closed properly and the hood wouldn’t close. The tie down boards in the back of the truck were broken rendering the Main purpose of that truck for me to be useless. I called and they only discounted me 25$ after I paid a friend 200$ to bring the main item I needed the truck for. So I’m out 600$ total, I call uhual and get some bogus response that the regional manager will call me. It’s now a week of business days later no answer. I will be calling again on Monday but this is the most abhorrent customer service experience ever.

Shelly GI was upset that the uhaul app gave me lots of problems to use and had to login in on a web browser to pickup the van. The website said this location openend at 8 am and that was incorrect and openend at 8.30am. I also experienced that I was to be able to do self check in for 7am however after I jumped all the hoops to do the self check in which required a reference to verify me which should have been done ahead not the time I want to pickup and go I did the entire process only to be told to go in and get the key and jump the line to a business that was not even open yet. The postal code gave me issues when I tried to enter it and it i called support for help and got moved to a second person to only sit and wait and not getting anyones help and so I figured it out on my own and it was the letters were all small case after the first one being a Capital letter. A terrible glitch in the system.
Barbara JHave the vehicle in operating condition and ready to go. Vehicle issues had me change to another one that obviously was just returned as it wasn’t clean then when I returned it 6 hours later I get nailed for a $25 cleaning charge. That is fraud!

Nuno LYou can improve by not charging extra fees, this is the first time I’ve had this issue with a uhaul, after putting $10 of gas in uhaul for my 13km drive, I was charged an additional $24 to my credit card after looking at my receipt today. Waited more than 15 minutes for the car and almost missed the closing of the store I was picking up a tv from.

moazam nI was shifted to this location from my initial pickup location. While they had the truck I needed, they did not have the amount of moving blankets I had requested.
Bryan BI have photo evidence of picking up/returning my uhual, and both the pick up and drop off location exaggerated the fuel by 1/8th of a tank, making it appear I did not return with appropriate fuel (when in reality, my miles to empty was 4 miles off when dropped off vs picked up) My ordered U-Haul was not available at my most local location, so I was referred to the nearest one. I was told I would have 40 miles added to my allotted distance. When I received my bill, I was charged and extra day as the 40 miles were never added After picking up at a remote location, I called customer service and asked for a small portion to be refunded to account for the fuel needed to drive from the new location to my home - as if one was available at my location, it would have been down the street. I was told $40 would be credited to accommodate for this. When I got my bill, it was not. Poor communication and dishonest practice left a bad taste in my mouth. Very disappointed in this behaviour

Matthew CMaybe tell people that the vehicles aren't onsite and perhaps make sure that the extra equipment is actually in the truck. A sign or something showing where to go to get the key would be freaking awesome as well. Routine maintenance on the vehicle would definitely be a plus.

Baljinnyam EHarassing me for my truck back before I was done and double booked clients on my rental while I still had it after i communicated with the rental place. I wasn't told there was no ramp so I had to go buy one to load and unload my motorcycle. Over all I was completely disappointed. Will never return to this location again.

The odometer was wrong on the paper work then the actual reading when he said he checked after talking to him he said he never checked it after the online booking from another customer. This was a horrible experience

I wanted a 9x8 trailer or I mean 6x8 you gave me a trailer that was no bigger than 4x3 what am I going to haul him that at dog Gage absolutely horrible service from the corporate end. It would have been easier to buy my own trailer.

Ricardo RWe chose mobile check in and the key was not left in a drop box. The instructions said to go inside for the key but no one was there even though the location was supposed to open at the same time as our pickup. Someone finally showed up 1.5 hours after our pickup time to give us a key. We were then told that none of the additional equipment we requested was available (dolly and furniture pads). We then inspected the truck and found the interior of the cargo bay and cabin covered in mud, including on the seats. I would strongly discourage anyone I know from using uhaul after this experience.
Jennifer MTrailer was dirty, I get it's winter not otherwise the trailer was in good shape. I liked the photo comparison process for verification of quality before and after taking it. This is a nice addition to rental prices for piece of mind.

Liz AMake sure everything is up to date. Broken windshield, no washer fluid when picked up, over 1000 km past due for oil change when i got it and the right rear brake and turn signal light was out. Somebody left an old cushion in the back, and it looks like a pink sock under the passenger seat. When I asked about having a snowbrush to clean off the unit, he said they don't have any. I had to go pay a car wash in order to clear the snow all over the vehicle. The overall cleanliness was brutal
branden gI tried doing the mobile order at another location, and then after that experience (I'd never do that again) I was transferred to this location. Night and day difference. Customer service was great and the agent was very helpful and got us going on the road very quickly.

Donna GThe seller should not have told me at first when I rented the van that it was 18 cents per kilometer and then when I brought it back that it was 59 cents per kilometer!!! I am very upset and feel that I really over paid due to the mis leading information that I received from the start!!! I paid almost $240 for a 3 day rental when it is advertised that it is $19.95/day plus kms and fees. I am most upset that I was lied to about the price of kilometers!!! I am grateful that I had the vehicle but would have never put 140 kilometers on it if I was told the truth in the first place!!!!!!!!
