Not sure how they got the calculation for the miles. They came up with 18 I literally drove 9 miles. The truck was the wrong size. I asked for the smaller one but got next size didn't realize it until I came back. They were speaking in their language. Just very rude.ANGELA H.

Noah did a great job of getting me in/out to start my move. Unfortunately I had booked at a different UHaul location (per national UHaul Cust Service #) and upon arrival was told that they didn't have the a â€œ1-wayâ€ rental as I was led to believe. That was a bummer but understand when things don't work out. I would hope UHaul would make amends to me about my disappointment.Devin R.

When you make a reservation, the truck should be ready and not put together at the moment you reach the counter. Time is lost because of this haphazard procedure. To many reservations made at the beginning of business hours and not enough prep time on the companies part. Very poor planning.JOHN D.

I rented my U-Haul and the interior of the cab was not disinfected. It appeared as though someone had sneezed over the steering wheel and the cupholder had fragments of debris. In a Covid environment this caused concern and I used a disinfectant wipes to clean the interior cabin area, work gloves and a mask during the use of the truck. After loading the truck with my items that need it moving I was immediately stopped by local police department because the license plates on the vehicle responded as a stolen U-Haul truck. I was detained for approximately 1 1/2 hours while the police department try to contact someone that had the authority to update their original stolen auto report. No one with authority was available to assist me. I was told to bring my truck back and they would provide me with a different truck. Which I did however I had to unload all of the items I had just placed in the back of the truck and then return to the lot and pick up a second truck. Needless to say this was very nerve-racking, stressful, inconvenient, embarrassing and I am waiting to see if I would at least get a discount for the extremely unusual error on U-Haulâ€˜s part. The local police officer was very polite and professional during the stop but explained his hands were tied because he could not get someone from U-Haul, at a supervisory level, to communicate with their department to resolve the issue. The individuals at the U-Haul counter from where I rented a vehicle were polite but indicated they did not have the authority to modify or change the agreement and that it would take the district manager to assist. However, that individual was not available and never returned my phone calls or the calls from the local police department while I was detained at the scene. Hopefully, the matter will be favorably resolved.RANDOLPH H.

I rented trailers the last 2 weekends and called the U-Haul toll free number and check them in with an agent because I can't get internet at that place both times I was charged $20.00 for a check in fee which the person I spoke with over the phone said I would not be charged The trailer this past weekend tire kept losing air had to fill it 3 different times in one day also the trailer brakes were staying on I also asked for a U-Haul manager to call me 8168059962 I'm looking for a refund of $40.00 I have done a lot of business with U-Haul over the past yearKelly L.

I asked the young man should we do a walk around and check that the Van is good he said no it's just a Van. That should have been my first clue. When I got on the Highway I noticed that when I would apply the brake the steering wheel would shake by this time Im late for my movers and since I was just moving from one apartment to a different one in the same complex i figured I would complain about that when I get but when I got to my apartment my Son said my brake lights where out and that was enough I stop what I was doing and took it back. Very bad experience I had to put my movers on hold while I called customer service because they where going to charge me twice because they hadn't made sure there equipment is safe good thing I didn't cause a accident.Claresa M.

we would like for you to add to your procedure to rent with a Debit card to mention that on some vehicles you can not be rented with a DEBIT!!! We originally rented a 15 passenger van. But..... when arriving were informed that we had to have a credit card due to the fact the van was NOT able to be rented with Debit card. We were in a panic my granddaughter was getting married in less than 24 hours we needed a vehicle to haul everything to the venue!!!! The gentleman at the counter was so kind and said he was sorry for our frustration then mentioned he could rent a 10ft box truck..... I said hell yes where do I sign. I was charged $816 dollars for one way (20' ft) from Kansas City Missouri to Columbia Missouri. It was never mentioned to me the moment I called in for reservations. During the equipment return I asked why I was charged so much and was told that the rate was wrongly calculated and I was only supposed to pay like $452. I was then given some numbers to call and dispute the charge but they kept passing me from one associate to another and none of them gave me an explanatory reason or an answer about returning some of my money. Honestly I'm very hurt and disappointed in your service, I feel robbed and this is not fair. But service was really good and I will lie if deny but the money side I'm screwed seriously. The last replay I got was that they will call me in 72 hours and I kind know what I am expecting....I won't get any refund. That's my opinion, until you call me back and make fair, please don't expect me to come back in the future.justin K.

Was told at location that the utility vehicle I needed to move would fit no problem. Attendant stated he had the same utility vehicle and it fits fine. Drove the trailer 40 miles to pick up the utility vehicle, didn't fit on trailer by 5 inches. Returned trailer. Everyone was nice. Location clean. Frustrated I was told something that wasn't true. Wasted money. Trailer dimensions were not completely as advertised.Brett M.
I ordered 30 blankets yet was told they only had 12 they could give me. A dolly was also not available that was to be included in my purchase. The attendant also did not discuss with me the mileage limitations for my contract. These disruptions caused my move to be more stressful and ultimately I will likely never use uhaul again due to this experience.Drew M.

I got there and the place was busy I had already started my online check in, but it wouldnt allow me to finish. So I was stuck waiting around for almost an hour getting checked in. Not sure why when I reserved my truck did Uhaul suggested online check in if I wasnt going to be able to do it. Very disappointing.JORDAN G.
