DENAE BTHE WORST EXPERIENCE, EQUIPMENT RESERVED AND NOT AVAILABLE, THEN SENT TO 2 LOCATIONS TO GET ONE AND END UP WITHOUT PIGTAIL OR ANY HELP ON CONNECTING THE TRAILER I WILL NOT RECOMMEND EVER !!!!!!!!
PEDRO SMy truck was moved to a new location where they didn’t have my equipment available and was charged a different amount which was more , then was asked if I’d hookup a trailer and take it to the location I was going to . Was promised a $100 refund but never received it . Horrible service will never use them again rather use their competitor.

BRENDAN MReally disappointed. I am the coach from Evangel University Football that is in charge of reserving and picking up a truck to use for games. I made reservations for our home games back in July. 2 weeks ago, I called and confirmed our reservations for the season. I arrive at noon to pick up a 20 foot truck and they do not have a truck for me. I was directed to a different facility which was out of the way for me and put me behind in our loading and departure for Nixa Stadium. I did not have this issue last season.

Alizae Wthe Truck had a half tank of gas the contract stated 5/8 . They refused to change the gas amount on the contract they took a picture of the milage and gas level however no change was made to the contract and I was charged 20 dollars at end destination

BRIAN BUHaul changed my pickup location. The new location was in a high-crime area near the city bus transfer station. As a solo older female, I felt uneasy with the location and leaving my vehicle there overnight. I was unsure where the business preferred for me to park my car overnight. The UHaul truck lock was on a post, and the lock was so high above the ground that I had difficulty seeing the letters on the lock to unlock it. (I am 5' 3".) The parking lot had a lot of trash, but this was due to the high-crime location and not a reflection on the employees. The employees were friendly and helpful. There were several parking lots, but they were not in sight of one another and I didn't know at first that there were several parking lots, so finding things was a little confusing. There is no cover in the parking lots, so the self check-in process will be unpleasant during bad weather. The two-star rating is due to the location and facilities and not the employees, who were professional and helpful.
Stephanie EI intended to rent at 15 foot truck and had to be subbed a 20 foot due to limited availability. Then my drop off location was changed when I picked up the truck (a little bit further but fine) also 5 hours into the 8 hour drive the AC went out. The worst of the issues came after we unloaded the truck; the drop off location I was sent via text and email could not hold the 20 foot truck (after sitting in rush hour traffic to get to this location). So I spoke to a UHaul manager via phone and was given the address to another location and promised a discounted rate. I drive 30 minutes and get to the next location and they tell me I was given the wrong address and have to go to ANOTHER location; that one was also 30 minutes away! Finally got it dropped off there with no issues and confirmed I would be getting a discounted rate. However I was charged the full rate ($700). The entire ordeal wasted time and energy that I didn’t have due to multiple errors by U-haul staff.
ALYSON BDid not request furniture covers and they put an excessive amount of them in our truck which took up space we needed. They were not folded or in a bag either, just laying out in a pile. We had to take all of them out an put them back at the end. The dolly was also not stored in the back correctly when we picked up the truck so it rolled around in the bag. Truck also had mice rice.
Richard Creserved a 20' truck , 3 weeks in advance. Phone call by office the day before pickup confirmed reservation. The day of pickup I was notified that no truck available. It was stated that my truck was given to another customer because of a breakdown. I had to go to another renter on the North side of town for a 20' truck. I WAS offered a 26' truck at no extra charge,but not comfortable driving a big unit.
ROGER HI had to rent here because they were the only ones with a van or I would not do business here again. The place is dirty. The van is dirty and smells. The computer was down so she called someone to rent it - I could barely hear him and then see charges on my receipt that were never explained. The $19.99 for 24 hours became $100…of course you know that and don’t care. We are moving in a month and I will rent from an other company.
Debbie DThe young lady at the counter went above and beyond!! Very disappointed in the overall customer service—no phone call before our pick up and we reserved a 10’ truck and ended up with a 26’ truck which was difficult to maneuver at our destination.

Amanda KThe location was in a bad spot of town. My reservation was for 9am and the main office wasn't open yet. Their were homeless people sleeping on the sidewalk by the office and it was just my sister and I pulling up. We were both so uncomfortable getting out of the vehicle that we instead waited an hour for the office to open. We were unable to find bar codes to scan to pick up the reserved key ourselves. Sketchy area! The equipment was fine though. I didn't pick this location either. My reservation was pushed to this location since I guess the location I requested didn't have the size I wanted. I will never rent from this spot again though, for safety reasons of the location.

JOHN MOverall my experience was good, but the pickup and return process through the app was not as easy as it should have been. I had trouble uploading photos for the pickup/check-in process. I had to try several times to upload photos and the link timed out, so I had to call and get a new link. Also I was unaware there was a return process and didn't receive an email letting me know there was a return process until I had already dropped off the truck, returned the key and was an hour away.
KELLY MTrash was left in the truck. I left the last 2 Uhauls cleaner then I received them. The mileage is never correctly stated at pick up ever!

CHRISTOPHER Mhad a terrible experience with U-Haul that I feel needs to be addressed. My reservation was for 8 AM on a Saturday, but the truck provided was dirty and didn’t have the dolly I reserved. I had to drive to another location just to get the dolly, which was extremely inconvenient. Even worse, I couldn’t get a replacement truck until 12:30 PM because the location didn’t open until 10 AM. This delay pushed my schedule back by over 5 hours. Staff showed no empathy and there was a complete lack of urgency or accountability. This entire experience was unacceptable. I was highly inconvenienced and lost valuable time due to U-Haul’s poor service and lack of coordination. I would like to request compensation for the delays and the trouble I experienced.

DAVID DOverall, my experience with the U-Haul Appliance Warehouse was great and I would recommend it to others in Springfield in need of a moving vehicle. However, I was a bit disappointed by the 24/7 Self Service. I arrived at my pick-up time and tried to accept my reservation through the mobile app, but the necessary equipment hadn't been checked out for me. I ended up having to call the 24/7 Self Service hotline and was transferred to two different representatives before I was told to just go inside the building (technically the warehouse wasn't open yet) and complete the necessary paperwork and get my keys from on-site staff. If this location cannot/does not offer 24/7 Self Service, then this would be clearly indicated to customers. What could have been a 5-10 minute pick-up experience ended up being closer to 30 minutes.
GRETA CThe location was a dirty old warehouse with a staff that were less than helpful. The area surrounding the warehouse was inhabited by multiple homeless people. I did not feel safe, even though it was the middle of the day. The reservation process was less than smoot. The first location I was given reported that they were a car dealership and did not have the equipment I had requested. When I called the 800 number I was told that I would go to the Springfield Super Store. The day before my appointment I was directed to the Appliance Warehouse.

Derick SDrop the extra 30 cents a mile and the predatory marketing on the app and website. Inside of the trucks windshield was filthy with a sticky substance. Been renting trucks for years from U-Haul. Going to use penske next time. Oh and take the damn dolly out of the truck if I say I don’t want it. You’re going to charge me because the dolly was in the way of my loading and had to move it.

FRED PMy issue is with Robert who called me from the scheduling office - (833) 342-9645. I stupidly accepted the “upgrade” of a 20’ truck over the 15’ I rented for my daughter to move from MO to FL. I told Robert I didn’t need the extra space, day, or miles but took it anyway. His pitch was we were “helping a family out who needed a bigger truck” at our drop off location in Palmetto, FL. What we got was a truck that pulled hard left for 19 hours and way more fuel spent. Congrats Robert, for taking advantage of a young girl and her dumb dad for agreeing to your scam!

JOSEPH KCory was very rude and condescending. She over emphasized that the trailer was ready and expressed how trailers were checked daily for readiness. Once I drove to pick up my trailer, the trailer i was supposed to get wasn't even n the lot. In a confused scramble she reassigned another trailer which has non working lights. when i told them about it I was told to drive during the day and no other option was offered. Worst experience ive had with Uhaul ever.
CARLOS RIt was very unclear where to drop the uhaul. There were two lots surrounding the building and it wasn't that well lit for self drop off.
RYAN HFast customer service ever also that location sells appliances. If you need a refrigerator, stove, washer and dryer they got it. I recommend it.
MARTIN NMore signage to better indicate where to park, where the office is, and what to do. Just a thought.
JUNIOUS LPassenger front tire had severe wear. Reported this as I left. Made it to Texas without a flat, but tire was ready to pop.

Patrick BI have used UHAUL several times in the past year or so between Springfield Mo and Belton MO. This was the first time I experienced a problem. BUT - once I contacted UHAUL - they addressed the issues and I have nothing but total appreciation for there professionalism.
