diane rUhaul can get better with their communication within uhaul. I was sent about 30 minutes drive further away from my move location than the nearest uhaul then upon arrival the gentleman working at the non uhaul spot had no idea why uhaul would have sent us there at all knowing full well they didn't have the truck I reserved with reservation confirmation. Then we sat in the next nearest uhaul location over 20 minutes on hold to get a smaller truck with offer of additional trailer for discounted price. The trailer wasn't on the reservation fix so we took the truck alone and made the move unable to move everything. The extra 5 ft. Would have been perfect. As a professional mover I knew the amount of space needed. And it wasn't given despite reservation and reservation confirmation. I appreciate the discounted Rental price... However the move started about 4 hours later than anticipated and bled over into the movers and tenants next day and next affecting everything... I may continue to use u haul in the future...but only near me and only with written verification from a human with guarantee or free equipment use... I know that sounds excessive. So are the snowball fallout of uhauls original broken contract. I confident this isn't the fault of any singular employee. I also know it's a service and unfortunately the service was lacking in this particular situation. The gentleman at aqua cleaning was great and opened up early having heard our debacle. He deserves credit for being a good person. Thanks to him we saved a half hour of our already late day.

James JWhen i picked up the equipment we didn't go over any details about the return process or a visual of the vehicle. After taking possession and getting to my first location, I realized that the vehicle was dirty. There were open spirits bottles with liquor in it in the vehicle along with chips and other trash left in the front on the floor and behind the seats. When processing the return, I stated that the vehicle needed to be clean but noticed that I would be charged for it so u removed that. Please add a separate selection for vehicle status not caused by the current renter

Marcia LMaybe they should check in the equipment in the morning as they open, instead at the end of the night to charge the customer another day of rate. The trailer was dropped off on Sunday night at 9pm. They did not check it in until 4:45pm on Monday

Lonzo sI don’t feel this survey is fair. We were guaranteed a trailer in Naperville. We had calls with the headquarters, emails confirming, spoke to the local site only to get a call the morning of saying there was no trailer within a 50 mile radius redirecting us an hour away to the south side of Chicago. While grateful to have the trailer and the original price honor. This meant two hours of additional driving and a lot of added stress. Overall not impressed how Uhaul does their business. I wouldn’t recommend this location because it’s out of our way. Trailer hitch had problems to boot. But it was clean and it worked not a reflection of this franchise.

Sharon RNo sanitary materials on site, to wipe down the vehicle before and after its use. The service was decent but I think they could improve with how they break down the process for when the vehicle is returned. Other locations have a friendlier atmosphere and have sanitary dispensers available such as wipes and disinfectant sprays.
SEIDY DRight strap to right wheel on my Hyundai SUV was unfastened and came unassembled once arriving to destination. Technician didn’t not properly assemble auto transport to my vehicle’s right front passenger wheel.

Leonard NUnprofessional, untimely, and I would not want to rent from this location again! The tank was given to me on a quarter of gas but looking at the contract it says half tank, and the meter was no where near half. There was no walk through and the entire ordeal was completely unprofessional.
Sergio DBad customer service no representative from U-Haul they expect someone from another company to take care of everything . Including taking care of equipment they were not properly trained on! Waited a hour to get the trailer even hooked up to my truck. No proper check was done so i ended up with a half flat tire that set our move back a day! The lights on the rear of the trailer were not working so that was not checked properly! I got pulled over twice because of it! The trailer hitch was not locked in property when it was placed onto my truck thank god that was noticed by someone helping us load the trailer or we could have lost the trailer off the back of my truck going down the expressway! I’ve asked for a call from a manager yet still never received one! This company is unbelievable! Horrible service no follow through and over priced for the crap service i received! Thank you for reminding me how bad you are!
Bethany BPersonnel at this location need to be available to close out the contract at the time of drop off. Additionally, the location in which I had to drop off the key in a Dropbox is located in a dangerous place; access to it was accross an alley and through a parking lot. REALLY!!!

Michael DThis location is basically self service without any adjunct equipment that is helpful when moving and the person who runs this location doesn’t come to the site. This location is essentially ran by a very nice gentleman who works at Kate’s Detective Agency. With that being said this place is just making it by a wing and a prayer. Good luck to anyone who uses this location.
Tasha WThis location is very unethical I would not recommend this location to my worst enemy moving forward I suspect I’m not the first to be robbed and I’m sure I won’t be the last so I will definitely be looking into taking legal actions against their practices
Darrell SHave the equipment at the place of reservation. Have a number where to call that works. I was trying to talk with someone who was able to help me for more than an hour. The new location where I had it to go and pick up my equipment was way farther and in a bad neighborhood, been at that time at night was really risky. The truck I got didn’t have the beeping noise when backing up and it felt like it was going to give up when driving it. I had my reservation at 6 PM and ended up getting the truck in another location almost at 9 PM. Yes it was a very bad experience.
