No help, it took nearly an hour to get the truck. I did the initial reservation on line and usually you go in they take you out look at the truck, sign and you're gone. I had to basically redo the whole thing again using the less than intuitive app on my phone. If I'm going to have to do an offsite pickup again I will go elsewhere to rent. There was only a gas station attendant who handed me a sheet of paper with phone numbers for uhaul support. Never again will I use that terrible app.

It is not a physical location. It's a gas station, which would be convenient if everything went through the app. I checked in through the app, but it told me to go inside for assistance. When I went inside the gas station employee had no clue about anything with U-Haul. I then called the support line to help me get into the lock box, but multiple reps told me I needed to go inside. Eventually the gas station employee comes out and calls the cops on me for waiting in the parking lot too long. Thankfully a U-Haul support rep was finally able to help me get into the lock box and I was on my way. One piece of advice: if trucks are being picked up from non-U-Haul locations, then make sure that that place is well-informed on how U-Haul works and is able to assist customers when needed.
