The only problem I had was the first day we used it and it was myself and my daughter-in-law we could not get the back door door shut. I called the help line the guy at first was helpful but then I was told well you women that want your equal rights I said I didn't think like that and we were not strong enough men could do things that women cannot he argued with me anyway had to drive it where my son could close door other then that great

First one had a hole in the storage area we returned it the second one they gave us had damage to thr front bumper and side which we pointed out they didn't know about it and the after we got started on our trip to Nc thr brakes were bad they sounded like metal yo metal

Don't let the employees leave the location with the keys to the rental in their pocket. The staff was very nice, friendly, and helpful, but it was a half hour delay getting a truck. Also, the UHaul app (no issue with the location here) is garbage. I returned late at night, in the dark and pouring rain, soaked to the bones, and went to the app to return the truck. I was met with the message "...we've found improvements, please update the app". Then started over a half hour of trying to 'update' the app, with it taking me to the app store, re-downloading the app, trying to open it again, getting the same message, and looping me back again and again. I deleted the app multiple times, restarted my phone, and eventually had to give up, drop the keys, and hope for the best. I am very angry that I had tested out the app prior to make sure all was in good order, and then ended up stranded because of a terrible app.

Back of the truck had garbage in it

I called to rent a trailer to haul a four wheeler. I was let known that this location had one available. After picking up this enclosed trailer I drove to Oneonta New York. While trying to load said four wheeler it was clear that it would in no way fit. Luckily there was a U-Haul dealer close by where I had to drop off the trailer I had and exchange it with an open trailer that fit my four wheeler. I just wanted to say that I’m not pleased about the fact that I had to go this wrought. I loss a lot of money and most likely not use U-Haul in the future.

Truck had issue bouncing called in for advise need to take to service center. We just drove 1hr out of the way to get it. So dealt with it!

Your Uhaul trailers hitches should be easier to handle for someone by themselves. Having to lift the trailer up to disconnect it is crazy.. it took two of us to do it. But besides that it worked wonderful and will rent from you again.

The staff is wonderful. We had a bit of a discrepancy on the gas level which was my fault for not notating it correctly when we checked out the vehicle but the staff made it right. Very pleased with this center.

You sent all texts to the contract holder not the driver but used the drivers name when texting, when she called the number on the contract slip which I .called , my driver called and her husband, that number does not work! The U-Haul store where we rented couldn’t find a drop of destination so she said to call the number on the yellow contract slip she gave us, which we did but does NOT work! It was a holiday a Sunday and then you charge us 333.50 for you screw up. Hell no I won’t recommend your company . and a bad review to whoever thinks of renting From your mixed up mess! I will dispute bc I have the faulty phone number on my contract and the text saying to Allison on my phone.

I will never rent a truck from another Uhaul location! The folks at Arey Lumber went WAY above and beyond to make sure I had a truck to move my stuff with. My reservation call came late in the week, but since the forecast called for rain, the ladies I worked with made a rental happen. Great job ladies, my wife and I appreciate all you did for us!

Tie down strap was broken. Ratchets need attention

I called to say I would be there after11 and was told that was fine. When I went to pick up the truck I was told that I was late and the truck was rented to someone else. Then they tried to give me a truck that wouldn't start and the other gentleman working there said other customers reported the truck would not go into park. She wanted me to take it anyway. She then gave me a bigger truck with a discount but it had engine trouble. The entire rental took two hours in her store and I still don't know if I was refunded for the first truck which I refused to take she had already billed my card

Rude. Checked in an hour later than I dropped off. Told me that is just how it is that it doesn’t have to be checked in right when you drop it off. One person walked around it got inside checked it stated we were good that everything looked great. Then another person claimed it was on E after it was moved multiple times before it was parked. So no I would not recommend this place for uhaul.

I was charged way over what I was supose too I rent from uhaul all the time but no longer will use uhaul 29.95 a day is bull false advertising I had it 2 days and went 130 miles and was charged almost $300 this is ridiculous

The staff was amazing. Patient and kind and able to get us set up easily. I had many questions before our long journey cross country and the staff was able to give me peace of mind for every step of the way. We also participated in the Load Share program and would definitely do that again.

Pick up time was delayed. Truck cab was littered with potato chips. The truck itself performed well for a very long ride to Atlanta.

Be wary! When you reserve a truck for moving day you are not guaranteed a truck for moving day. They can change location pick ups or not have a truck at all and you won’t know until the day before . It has potential to mess up everything!

We had requested the van typically available at this location, but it was out for repair. Thus, we were compelled to take the 10' box truck which was more than we needed for this application. That, of course, led to greater fuel consumption.

Location does not allow alternate drop off locations which can be a huge inconvenience. Especially when you need to drive long distances.

I have a long standing relationship with Arey Building Supply. They are always friendly and helpful. This was an easy transaction to complete since I did the on-line check-in process. The only issue appeared to be the slow U-Haul website. That was according to Dave who did the work. Two of the yard workers helped me hook up the trailer so that also went very easy. The trailer was in good condition.
