They lied and said it had 3/4 of a tank to start. It had less than half. We took pictures for evidence. Also, I was not told that the location would be closed for my drop off when I registered to not use self check in/ out so I had to do the self check out and had no idea what I was doing and already locked the truck and dropped off the keys when I apparently needed to take a bunch of photos(I'm glad my boyfriend had already been taking photos since we were lied to about the gas) and there was no way for me to upload the photos he sent me I had to take photos of the photos on his phone. It was all just confusing and horrible.amanda B.

Do not let any customers go to this location. The guy was rude, short and very uncooperative. I have used U-Haul more often than most with my side business and this was the first time I've had someone so terrible. The invoice was more than the quote, the check engine light was on which gives worse gas mileage which cost me more money, it was 3 miles further away which cost even MORE money at 99Â¢ a mile. Was the worst experience I've ever had with U-Haul.Albert D.

1. Have open wifi available at the pickup site as completing the app-based pickup and return procedures was VERY slow using my mobile data. 2. Email a proper receipt at the end of the transaction. I still have NOTHING in writing confirming the amount of the credit card charge nor anything to supporting a potential tax decuction. Inexcusable!Richard B.

The rental was perfect, easy to drive, and overall the best first experience I could have asked for. The 9' cargo van fit all of my stuff perfectly, and the rental process and return process is so quick and easy. Only thing is I never got the dolly I had rented to go with it. But other than that, wonderful!Hannah P.
I got accused of doing damage to a vehicle I didn't do anything to the Van I did not bring it back with damage I did nothing wrong. So UHaul charges my CC for something I didn't do Bunch of liars and thieves. Never again with UHaulBeverly B.
We picked up the vehicle on a Sunday. I have an old Apple IPhone. First off it could not find the location but google maps was working. Then I couldn't get the bar code to scan. It took us a 1/2 hour to get it picked up. When we dropped it off, I could not get my phone to work again. We had to log in on my boyfriend's phone, and then we were successful. It was a stressful experience for me and I would never pick up when there is not a person around.Norm G.

It was the average business for our local area. Larry was nothing but nice and professional and answered all my questions. Uhaul themselves very disappointed with. The General Manager never bothered to call me back from Erie PA area. Neither did the Erie PA manager of Pittsburg. ave U haul with Storage issue that I was told was open 24/7 outside the gate. When it wasn't. It really upsets me but 2 hours cost me almost $200 between gas/mileage/xtra day:.. Uhaul. Themselves issues with. Larry absolutly fantastic to deal with.Tara M.

I was not able to access the truck I rented, the app would not give me access to the lockbox with the truck keys. I called customer service and after 40+ minutes waiting, the call was disconnected. I had to cancel my order, and I will be complaining if I do not get a full refund.Samantha T.

We ordered our u-haul a week in advance in Erie, Pa. We received a call the day before our pick up and was told there were no trailers for rent. We had to drive 60 miles to get our trailer which took 2 hours round trip and received no gas compensation or any discount of any kind.John B.

I had a 1-way truck rental from Buffalo to Fredonia. I dropped off the truck on the 4th of July, so the store was closed. Yesterday, I received a final bill that included a truck cleaning fee of $25. I personally checked the truck to make sure that it was clean. I spoke to the Store Manager in Fredonia and he said that he had to sweep the back of the truck. I was charged $25 for nothing. By the way, he hung the phone up on me. I contacted UHAUL Customer Service and was told that an Area Rep would follow up with me within 24hrs. It's past 24hrs and still no follow up. My advice to anyone that drops off a truck at this location, make sure you sweep every crumb. Business must be slow, so they need to up charge. I have rented trucks from Penske and never had issues.
