The setup of having to go to the office for the trailer park and get the keys out with old combination locks is odd and wasn't the most user friendly. Either dealing with a person or having newer lock systems would be better.

Don FThe location is small. The trucks are parked pretty far away from where you get the keys, and the app doesn't recognize the location. I had to call into the help desk, uninstall the app, and go through it online. It took me almost an hour to check out the truck.

Keisha MThe issue we had was that the instructions to get the key out of the lock box was not totally correct. It was on the right side of the door not the left side. Also, it took us a long time to find the code. We were trying to text and call U-Haul and finally found it. Please make those instructions more clear for people who come at night.
CHRISTINA BI think you should have a way to reserve and get your truck person to person also .... I had trouble from the very beginning of the app to me dropping off the truck either the app was goofing up...or my phone was... But I think both ways should still be happening. Not just the mobile....

Dorian MLeft my house keys in the truck, totally my fault. I called to see how I could retrieve them since it was after the local location had closed. Your customer service said I had to wait until they opened at 0900 the next day and that the truck was not due to leave until after 0900, and that the attendant would not put the truck keys in the lock box for the next customer until after he opened at 0900. WRONG! Attendant put the keys in the lock box for the next customer at 0700, their reservation was for 0730, it was a one-way rental and I only got lucky the next renter did not show until 0900. All I wanted was for customer service to contact the attendant and let them know to look for my keys in the truck and retrieve them. I asked the attendant if that would have been possible, he said absolutely since they (your company) have his cell number. I ultimately retrieved my keys, but it could have been so much worse. All it would have taken was a simple text or phone call from your company to your representative here locally to avoid any potential issues. So, I have to give your customer service a huge zero. Other than this, the truck was fine. Feel free to contact me if you want to discuss this further.

Raymond WThe online key pick up was an epic failure. We were very lucky that there were employees working on the day/time of pickup to assist, but it took 30 minutes out of our moving time.
Kevin SUhaul didn’t change my location to Arlington Rd. I had to call Uhaul. The description to where the key was, was ridiculous. I had to call again. The office/key location was 200’ up a driveway. It had 1/2 tank of gas. From the time I arrived to pick up till leaving…40 minutes ! Very annoying
Richard BCardboard left in truck cab when we picked it up. We returned it in the same manner. Gas tank was not full when we picked up but returned full as per instruction.
Robin DThe people at this location were really, really rude. We had questions about using the 24/7 check in and went into the office to ask the person at the desk. He was extremely rude and told us they didn't want people in the office because of covid and that is why they have to 24/7 app. He told us to go back outside and look at the e-mail and follow directions. Another woman came to feed all the cats running around and told us that there is a phone number listed on the door of the office and to call if we had any questions because, again, they didn't know where we had been and didn't want covid. The customer service person who answered the "traffic management" phone number we called wasn't much better. She said the computers were slow, or down, or something and we'd have to wait a few minutes and try again. When we finally did get through, we had to wait while our contact and reservation were approved. Seems like that could have been done the day before, or at least been told that it would take 45 minutes to an hour to drive away with the rental, especially since we had movers waiting on us that we were paying by the hour. And if that wasn't bad enough, someone identifying as a U-Haul person called our contact and said "This is a number we have listed as a contact for a U-Haul rental. Our sister said "Yes, that is correct." The u-haul employee said - and this is a direct quote - "Tell him to make sure he gets the truck back on time." AND HUNG UP. All in all, I would say this was the worst rental experience I have ever had. In the future, I will look to other companies for service.

Dylan NIrrational fear of a fake disease made this location and it’s employees the least of hospitable. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but my drop off location was miles ahead in terms of customer service in comparison to this pick up point. They don’t answer the phone either I tried calling for two days.
Michael WThe online process is difficult to use, charged me for gas when I put more in it than when I got it!! Not happy with the experience at all! 19.95 turned into 78.00!!

Gregory JNot this sites fault but truck rental experience was horrible. I got a truck after 3 changes but had to drive a 26 footer when I only needed a 15 footer. U haul is a mess and not interested in their customers. Pick up app was horrible, slow, and cumbersome. Truck was invested with cigarette smoke smell and was horrible to drive in.

Maher AI understand COVID-19 is extremely scary, but let’s not forget we are ALL experiencing this ridiculous transformation in our lives. When speaking with a woman coming into your establishment there is never a need to be aggressive. If I had any other options I would’ve taken them, but I was in a time crunch. The price was double what I was quoted at another Uhaul location. The truck was also not cleaned after the last customer. The cigarette, ashes, and mud made that very clear. Natika BWe utilized the mobile pick up option. We had a lot of technical issues with the 24/7 web experience. The online agent during check in was not responsive. It took almost an hour to get through the approval process. The online return process also had technical issues. I highly doubt we will use mobile pick up again.

Garry KUhaul switched up my truck rental location to 10 miles away then gave me 51 mikes to travel back to my location load up and then go to my drop off location. Would have been to be given the extra mileage to cover the longer pick up distance.

GARTH MThis is the second time I had tried to pick up a Uhaul from Manchester storage. And every time the pick up ends up being somewhere else. I made the reservation in weeks advance. It's a huge inconvenience always having to go somewhere else.
