iOS App was HORRIBLE! It kept crashing so I would have to do everything over. Took me close to 20mins each to check in and check out. Crashed constantly, especially after taking a picture.

Because of a mixup, I was given the wrong truck. The guy at the Arlington location called asking there it was. I’d gone through the tedious process of checking it in with the online system—taking pics of everything including where it was parked. Apparently he had none of this info.

The van was quite dirty. It felt gross to get into it. Also, the van we were going to be given only had 3/16 of a tank of gas in it. We ended up getting a different van that became available, so we weren't directly affected. But sending customers out with so little gas is pretty bad customer service. I will say the young man who helped us was terrific--very friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient.

We were given a van with a broken sideview mirror. We didn't notice how bad the damage really was until we were on the highway, and could have seriously injured someone else or ourselves. When we returned, we asked why we were given this van when there were unused vans still in the lot. The attendant said he wasn't able to switch it on the site for us, so that was the van we had to take. Take the van out of circulation until it's safe to drive, man. We're all lucky we made it back in one piece.

The place is fine. It's UHaul's customer service that is poor. There was no key there so I called the phone number given. No answer, message to call another number. I called that, no answer. I called the 1-800 UHaul number. On hold for over 45 minutes before hanging up. Finally called the owner of the storage building who helped us. Terrible service on UHaul's part.

Everything is perfect at the Arlington location ! I just wanted take this moment to say Kevin at the location was great! He was very polite and personable. Although it was time for him to go home he stayed and guided me to the van and explained everything to me.

I stopped at the U-Haul at 230 St. East in NYC because I was lost. They were so helpful to me. The man at the desk was very kind as was the mechanic I asked again to check about the tires. He explained that whoever changed the tires neglected to put censors in those tires at all and that was what made the light to be on all the ride.

Mobile phone 24/7 pickup: When I arrived and signed in to my account, the website informed me that the equipment "had not been assigned" and that I needed to call a representative. The phone number's answering machine told me to call another number, and the representative did not pick up. Eventually, the representative responded by text message, and suggested that I call the "800" number for Uhaul. I was on hold for nearly twenty minutes, then spoke with the greater Uhaul representative about pickup at a different location. By then, the first representative called me back, and had been able to assign the vehicle to me. This process cost me an hour of time, and forced me to reschedule an appointment. I am very disappointed with how this went, and would advise anyone who needs to use 24 hour pickup to call the location, and Uhaul, in advance, to make sure your equipment has been assigned.

This was the second U-Haul location I went to. The first one I went to gave my reserved truck someone else and told me they had no more trucks. I reserved at this location online while leaving and just before I arrived I was called and said that they also gave my truck to someone else. Ultimately they did accommodate my need and gave me a truck for two hours ( instead of the four I requested and the reservation ) as long as I could have it back by 1 PM for the other reservation on the same truck.

The staff member at this location who helped me when I picked up the van was fantastic! When it turned out that this pickup location isn't set up for after-hours pickup, he stayed 45 minutes past closing to wait for me. Thank you!! The van itself was fairly new, ran great, and the reverse-gear camera was extremely helpful while driving. Pickup and dropoff were easy, and it was a fair price. Can't ask for more!

The experience overall was excellent. The location was a little difficult to find for someone not familiar with the area. The service staff were excellent with good personal service. I would use this location again so long as I had specific needs that they can meet. Their inventory of vehicles was not high, is the only drawback.
