App did not work well for drop off. Much time was wasted. You need to have actual humans working in the offices for pick up and drop off unless you can make significant improvements in the reliability of your app

Marie FI specifically booked my uhaul within the hours that the store front was supposed to be open, but they for whatever reason closed early so I was forced to do self check-in. A curtesy call would have been helpful as I would've happily come in sooner to pick up the vehicle. Otherwise everything worked well.
Cynthia WThere was in issue checking the truck back in using the mobile app. I did the night drop off method instead and received a confirmation the next day but having the mobile part working would be nice. Otherwise a great experience.

Michael HThey opened 25 min late, putting us behind and didn’t have any of the equipment we’d ordered. Between that and the bungled last minute change in pick up location plus twice canceled movers, we will not go through U Haul again.

Stephane DThe truck that was rented was very dirty inside and out. There was not an option on the app to really do anything about it. I tried adding a comment on return but then it tried to charge me for cleaning and I was not going to pay for the cleaning when it was dirty when I picked it up.

Ariane T10' truck condition was disappointing: driver's side door wouldn't close without slamming; windshield had a full-arc wide wiper scratch; cab smelled VERY strongly of cigarettes; box interior wasn't swept out; steering wheel was sticky; headlights not aimed correctly; clock set incorrectly. Went to location day before pickup to arrange earlier pickup; no one there even though it was 30 minutes prior to posted closing time. Left phone message asking to pick up earlier (before opening time) and for a call or text to confirm. No call or text, so I arrived at previously arranged pickup time only to find the HAD put key in lockbox and I could have picked up earlier. Very disappointed in this Arlington location.
Brian BThe lady at check in was great. The two different people I spoke to online, to extend my rental, added on extra insurance that I did not have in my initial rental. I was not asked if I wanted/needed it. So I was charged an additional almost $50.

Marcus Hthe truck full of hair dog and human hair ,if they do clean every six months for their truck will be good and clean truck, but it seems never did that.
Ameer TThe only issue I encountered was with the app, which was incredibly glitchy. When I arrived, the location I was at didn’t appear in the drop-down list of options. Luckily the location had a QR code that I could scan to get around this issue. Similarly, when checking out, I was attempting to add photos, but the app would either not register the photos I had taken or delete them when I was already in the middle of the process. Again, the location saved the day, but this app needs work!
Meghan MCheck-out and check-in take WAY too long. If a customer has been renting many times I don't understand the need to upload your drivers license each time. You have it. Store it. If a customer turns equipment back a bunch of times with no issues, then don't make them take pictures. It's tedious and when the app crashes/resets you end up spending a solid 10 minutes checking out or checking in. I dread picking up and dropping off.
Scott SThis location is not busy so you will most likely be attended to immediately. Noah was very friendly and did a quick introduction to pick up the van as well as returning it. Easy and quick. Definitely recommend this place if you are close by.
Benjamin TI had difficult upload photos of the van condition on the app. Photos I took through the app would disappear and not allow me to finish the return process. I ended up having to call customer service to help me finish the return process.
michael bHad some difficulty with the online checkin/checkout app. However, the attendant was incredibly helpful and made the whole process easy. The blankets and dolley I requested were not in the vehicle. However, the attendant again was helpful and let me use a dolley and 4 blankets that he had.

JENNIFER CI though the self pick up process was hassle free but it was not. I had showed up on time to pick up my truck. It was rained, cold and very dark. I could not complete the process because issues with the app and uhaul website. The truck was dirty in the cabin and the box, found piece of wig in the box, debris and etc. The light of the box was functional when I could barely see anything. The lock was there, not key was provided. I had reserved a appliance dolly was NOT there iether. I could not believe when I had noticed. In spite of these issues, I was so fortunate to finish my move in time. Thanks for your service.

gladis mThis was a super easy van rental for a quick couch pick-up. The employee was efficient, polite, and helpful. The van was in good condition and the entire experience was super easy and inexpensive. Would definitely recommend this location!

Michael RExcellent service! The on-site manager volunteered to help search for a parking sticker, which I accidentally left in the cargo van. She managed to find and keep it for me to pick up the next day.
LEI WYour instructions were wrong. Facing the windows you said the lockbox would be on the left, yet it was on the right. Also, the verification for the driver’s license was done at the sight, which cost me 20 minutes. I returned the van 1 hour earlier than anticipated and wasn’t able to load the pictures so I just left the key there.

Joe GAll was great, except for an issue with the confirmation code being sent via email one hour after it was needed to confirm my booking.
Diane GI had only a 4 hour window so showing up and the van being really dirty and in bad condition was not something I should be dealing with. I reported it when dropping off and you were trying to charge a fee. There was chewing tobacco spit on the inside of the windshield, horse manure, mud, and hay all over the vehicle. The pictures I was checked in with didn’t show all the damage done to the U haul. It literally had crash marks on every single panel of the van. I will never rent again from that location it was in really poor condition. The check in and out process was extremely long as well as the browser was saying unavailable as I was going through. Just overall not something I would do again.

Michelle MTry not to force location change only one hour prior to the start of the rental next time. Fortunately, the new location served me well, but I had to travel across the entire city to get there. Plus, this increased the price of the rental as I had to do more miles with the truck

The facility is very clean and easy to access. They have trucks onsite to rent, which made everything streamlined in our move/storage process. But what stood out the most was how great the staff were -- they were personable, efficient, and really helpful. I've used other storage facilities before and I definitely would rank Arlington Self Storage at the top of the pack by far. Thanks to everyone there - you're rock stars!
