I order 3weeks in advance. 12 truck got email day before they had give me a 16 cause didn't have 12 .arrived in morning to get truck . In it was only a 20 truck . Which was way to big.Denise D.

It was extremely far for me to drive. I passed three UHaul stores with many trucks before arriving at my pickup spot. The phone service is horrible in the area so mobile pick up took a long time. The U-HaulRRuss D.

The Uhaul portion of this business was not well marked. There was not much room to park and nobody available to helpCYNTHIA H.
The drop off was taking too long. He was moving the truck several times and had to retake pictures. I was waiting patiently and was not told that he was finished untill I asked. I could have been on my way and he could have done most of the tasks after I had checked in.wayne S.

The appliance dolly was not in the back, no phone call or notification to announce could not accommodate. The truck was newer and was in great driving condition!!! The only problem was it was parked front facing into a dark back alley, and it took a bit to maneuver out.corey E.
It would be nice if uhaul makes it clear if you're picking up a truck from a "self service" location. I was born last century and assumed there would be a human to give money to in exchange for keys to a truck. Many thanks to the rep on the phone who had saintly patience talking me through the process of using my phone to get the keys.Perry H.
Truck was difficult to get out of parking lot due to being parked in the back of the lot with cars parked around it from business beside it. I had to wait in the truck for almost 1/2 hour after getting the truck because I could not get through due to limited space for passing on the drive out of the lot. I called uhaul three times following pickup as I wanted to verify if I could drop off at a different location, free of charge due to these issues and after pressing â€œ3â€, half an hour passes without an answer. Once I returned the truck, the app would log me out every time I submitted a picture and would make me start over. Tried the app on my bfs phone and ended up with similar problem, but despite location services being enabled, wouldn't track our location to return the truck. Finally got a hold of someone at uhaul after almost an hour of trying to return the truck at drop off location and she was extremely helpful. I have rented uhaul many times in the past and will not be doing so again with the app. Wasn't worth the aggravation.Natalie W.

I went to a storage facility and they told me to schedule the rental on the app, so I scheduled the rental over the app. The app is terrible, it doesn't work right, I couldn't change the location of the drop off, add a dolly to the rental, etc. I called the U-haul 1-800 number and waited on hold for 20 mins so I drove back to the storage facility and they gave me the number for the U-haul regional manager Eric Petit (first name may have been Mike) He was the rudest person I have ever spoken to on the phone, was not helpful, and acted like I was I bothering him by calling him. Anyway, he told me he would reschedule the rental, add the dolly to the rental, and call me back once he had done so. I never heard back from him, never got the rental rescheduled, and never got the dolly. So while the location I picked up the truck and returned it was fine, and the truck was clean. I will not be using U-haul for my next move simply over the negative experience I had with Mr. Petit. I will pay the extra money to Ryder or Enterprise to not have to deal with the headaches or the rudeness.matt W.

The only issue I ran into was trying to perform the mobile pickup at 12pm. I converted my order to the mobile but when I arrived and attempted to pick it up, the online site kept looping between pick up your truck and my only option was to â€œLearn Moreâ€. The UHAUL person was not there until 2PM, it wasn't a huge deal but a little frustrating. The UHAUL person ended up converting back to the traditional because the mobile pickup was not working.Michael V.

I would say it would be great if the rental process could be faster, but renting a very expensive vehicle to a stranger is quite a big deal. I'm sure a person's driving record and credit card need to be carefully approved.JOHN W.

The customer service my daughter received at this location was horrible. I booked the Uhaul rental through the 800 number. When my son in law went to pick it up, he was told he could not. Everything I was told while placing the order, my son in law was told was wrong and would not work. When I spoke with the lady at the location on the phone, she was rude and condescending. It was not a pleasant experience.Dawn M.

I would have rated this below average except for the people who tried to help me. I had an above average length of time to check out despite doing all the pre checks on line prior to attempting to pick up the trailer. Seems very little of the information I was asked to pre enter was passed on to the rental agency. The there was confusion with the paper flow process by the first person who tried to help me. Angela was very apologetic at the end for all our issues. You need to provide better process training and make things user friendly for agencies who do U Haul rentals as a secondary business. I also want to compliment Jordan Murray from the Mechanical Blvd store in Garner, NC. He stepped in to offer the agency some processes help when my needs for the trailer changed within an hour of the rental. He is a very good U Haul representative..Tom K.

The truck needs work to the transmission and/or motor. It had shifting issues and ran really rough. I would not have been comfortable driving it more than a short distance.Kellie B.

They did not inform us that there would be a $100 wrong destination charge. If we would have known this we would have taken the trailer 15 miles down the road to the original destination. This should have been stated instead of just charging my card! Won't be using U-Haul again.Rodney H.

While I was pleased with my truck and state of my storage unit, I was not impressed by the customer service. To be quite honest, I'd expect a company that works with people during one of the most stressful things they can do would be better at communicating and relaying important information. One good thing I can say is that it was all worked out but there were mistakes that could have been avoided if the correct information had reached me.ERIN J.
