Upon booking this reservation, I was not made aware that this specific location closed at 6 PM. I got a call from the office around 2 PM on my moving day, stating that I had to be there before 6 to pick up the truck. Then when I got there, the owner said that I had to bring the truck back by 10 AM the next morning. This was supposed to be a 24 hour booking. He then tried to charge me an additional day because I could not have the truck back by 10 AM, also stating that the van was booked for the next morning at noon. How, if this was supposed to be 24hr. My qualm is, what is the point of a 24 hour booking and what is the point of having a dropbox if the truck cannot be dropped off outside of business hours? He said if I parked it anywhere nearby that it would be towed. U-Haul needs to investigate this office for malpractice.
