My Reservation number was 99753561- I Flew to Atlanta to from FL to move some items to a previous location. I arrived to the pick up address that was sent to me via that was actually not the one i selected in the reservation. Once i got there it was at a Wash & spin in a very bad area !!! I gave the reservation number to the person that was in the counter wish it was very rude. He advised me that they did not have the truck i selected there & sent me to another location. I had to take another Uber to get there ! once I arrived to 1190 Metropolitant Pkwy the was located around 12min form the original location I notice that it was at a Food Mark in very horrible not safe location. The person at the counter advised me that The person that sent me there canceled my original reservation & he had to make a new one !! I ended up paying around $220 more for the same reservation !!! While inspecting the truck I found that the truck had a missing fuel Cap !! & had little to none gas in it. I had no other option to take the truck in that condition as I was basically stranded in a very bad place ! (Hood) & i feared for my safety. I was able to stop in a gas station in a safer area to improvise a gas cap using a plastic bag & tape to ride safe to FL. Honestly it was a total disappointment & worst experience ever!! U-Haul should make a Survey before granting that service to those horrible business in not safe locations !! I hope this can be heard to Higher up -U-Haul Leadership. !!

When I returned the truck, I was charged for the blankets. In total I have been charge over $400 for a 10 foot truck that I picked up around 10am and dropped off around 5pm ON THE SAME DAY.

Antonio SMake sure the trucks are clean. The first truck I was given was full of live roaches, and it smelled awful. The second truck I had to call you guys to have my registration switched over to another truck. The customer service representative was nice however the second truck was filthy and smelled like weed and butt!

John WUhaul was dirty, had maybe a ¼ tank gas in it and the tire light was on. The location was unsafe and the vendors did not seem to know what they were doing during the rental process. At the end, they charged me for a stolen dolley that I never even took to begin with. Horrible experience overall.

Take your own inspections & notes of pre-existing conditions & damage with an option for us to add on if necessary.
Garica CDropped truck off and clerk took picture of my picture through a thick dirty glass. Never did the truck return, I went back the next day and he say my pic was blurry and took another picture and took them another additional day to return the truck, only for them to over charge me and now I’m waiting for uhaul region manager to call me but I have not received the call yet!

mario bI over paid miles (60) only used 24 miles. I put the same gas in that I used. But charged over 38 dollars and some change. Truck didn’t have no type of equipment for moving furniture. Two dollies were at sight reserved for someone else. I left the store without a contract. I would to dispute gas charge

Joanne CAtlanta Food Mart is a mere U-Haul truck drop off point. I can not compare it to any U-Haul rental or storage location. U-Haul's software program recognized my cash payment and my cash deposit. It shouldn't have directed me to this Atlanta Food Mart, which doesn't refund any deposits. Only U-Haul's corporate office could do so. I was on hold with U-Haul customer service for 50 minutes. After customer service re-routed my call, Tia at corporate quickly solved my issue. I barely got to talk to her, but she seemed very polite.

WILLIAM BEverything was great. Til we seen they mentioned it had gas in truck. But didn’t have any. I came back inside to let the salesman know. He said ,Just return without any. And when I did. He all of suddenly forgot & said you guys did that. Leaving me to stand there fir 45 minutes to reach an agent to discuss the mishap. That I brought to his attention before renting. So disappointing along with drained from moving 6 hours. Uhaul resolution resolve it with no problem. But he was very rude . Unnecessary

JEREMIE DGenerally, the area is not in a great part of town. However, the customer service was good, and the property itself was clean. I would not feel comfortable checking in at night at this location. However, I don't think that means it shouldn't be there since everyone needs to be able to move without having to drive 25+ miles to get a uhaul. I had no problem picking up the vehicle during the day.

Diaontray CIdentify sub-standard practices amongst your off brand locations. No roadside safety equipment in the vehicle. Brakes were soft and steering was loose, vehicle needs maintenance.

Amit BI had a terrible experience. When I walked in, I stood at the counter waiting for the attendant to finish what looked like a game on his phone then he got to me. He had trouble finding the reservation but when he did the first thing he said was, we don’t have the appliance dolly or the pads. Both of which were crucial to my move! As I was moving out of a high rise. So instead of the ease of wheeling furniture down hallways, in the elevator and on the street. We instead had to carry everything!! ALSO with no pads, we were forced to sacrifice comforters, sheets, etc. and still have some dinged up furniture! I reached out to Uhaul TWICE about this inconvenience and no one has offered a helping solution. I’m very disappointed as I am a frequent uhaul renter and this is unacceptable.

Justin SMy issue isn't with the location it was with the actual u-haul people - I was charged an additional $20 for gas, but I refilled the tank before returning the truck as I've done with other u-hauls. The customer service rep was not helpful even though she talked with and the person that managed the u-haul at Atlanta's Food Mart.

ANJELICA CI called the location and no one answered the phone. so I went and the guy was acting as if he wasn't able to hear me as I had to scream then he opened the window. he tried to charge the card the card for 100.00 when it was 73 and change. we received an alert on the account about it. so no I will not be renting from them ever again. the gas was not in the truck, it was nasty and smelled.

I chose a location close to where we needed it(which was open and had trucks) .We were sent to another location 30 min away, got there and had no truck, had to wait to get ahold of 1800 uhaul and sent to a 3rd location. Bad Bad experience and no apologies.

Taya SAgent wouldn't come out from behind the bullet proof glass to check me - it was a really scary neighborhood. It was pouring rain. Made me take a picture of the dashboard for miles and gas then said I would get an email receipt. I got an email from Uhaul 5 days later saying I never returned my rental truck. The guy never even checked it in after I left. Their franchise should be revoked. NEVER AGAIN!

Vanessa mWe had our reservation changed multiple times the day before our move, and we were not informed that the location we were most recently assigned to would be a local corner store. The only reason we found it was because we saw a couple Uhaul trucks in the parking lot. We did not feel comfortable leaving our car at the location which caused us to make an extra trip and use more mileage. The corner store owners did the best they could to help us but they did not have the information about our reservation so they had to get the information from us again. This caused a delay with meeting our movers. We were promised a discounted mileage rate from all the changes that were made to our reservation but we did not receive it. Also, the back door of the truck was constantly sticking making it difficult to close. Uhaul needs to do a much better job of communicating changes in reservations to their customers especially when the customer may be expecting to pick up their truck from a Uhaul center. Also, they need to maintain their fleet of trucks better to make sure rear doors are shutting properly. I have used Uhaul for multiple moves in the past, but after this experience my wife and I are seriously considering using another major moving company in the future.
Grant HI needed to switch to a smaller truck in Atlanta and an employee did the switch for me. He was very helpful. In Savannah the attendant receiving the equipment was very cordial and the check-in was smooth. Thanks!
