I reserved a 26 foot U-Haul around a week in advance online, through U-Haul. and when I got there to pick it up I had no direction of what to do so I called and a kind man picked up but he told me that he didn't have the 26 foot available for me, I was confused as to why no one told me ahead of time. He also told me that I couldn't do my drop off point in New Orleans as it was reserved for. No one told me any of this, until the moment I got there and called. While we're on the phones someone comes and takes the 26' U-Haul that I reserved. So now we're left with the 15' U-Haul and a more expensive trip I didn't prepare for the extra money I'd have to spend because he told me it had to be returned to Thibodaux. So that tacked on like another 150$. I don't know how no one saw my reservation earlier in the week to call me and tell me my reservation isn't possible. I had it originally scheduled for pick up in Thibodaux, drop off in Nola. No one told me anything which is what bothers me... I would've planned differently considering that's a lot more money than I originally bargained for. And he just charged me; without telling me the price prior. I just got a notification on my phone standing there of the money coming out of my account. I didn't realize it was going to be so much more; and no one told me about anything. First U-Haul experience went horrible.

Glenn BThe process for picking up a U-Haul rental, is very inconvenient, not to mention the process and time it takes to get everything completed. If you are not familiar with the process and phone savvy, it is an easy process. I was not the only customer with complaints about having to go through the process of takin photos of the u- Haul, loading photos. The entire process of this U-Haul rental at this location is not one I would choose again. I also requested use of a dolly, which was not provided and was still charged for the dolly. Honest Customer !

Markayla TOne the vehicle I used both passenger and drivers side door were extremely hard to fully close . You literally had to slam them shut unsafe issue with the doors

JASON MThe next customer i need to say what could have been done for me and I payed money that truck that don't run to well the engine is stalling and truck not clean I could have broke down and I called and told them she said she can't do nothing the company knew the truck was that way and told her to rent it to me anyway and charge me normal price when I should have gotten discount or jus another truck didn't care about the customer well beings in that vehicle that the company renting people. This is not professional and this company needs to do better I would not tell anyone to come to this place again

Robert YThe owner spam called us indicating the truck was stolen even though we made reservations a week prior, and was only cancelled due to the uhaul service issue. Once restored by uhaul customer support we then took the truck, and the owner of the vehicle at this location made multiple phone calls to us saying we weren’t supposed to take it because he was setting it aside for someone on the low to use.

Joey CI never received the email they were supposed to send me once I returned the U-Haul truck. However, there was $4.23 taken from my bank account for U-Haul with no explanation and no email.
Cherie PThe people running the shop hate the U-Haul customers. They have the equipment and like the traffic it ads to their other business, but that’s it. They tell you that U-Haul ain’t their problem and if that’s what you are there for, you need to wait outside, until you leave. I’ll just rent a box truck from enterprise next time

Arthur OThe office was very dirty and stuff laying around. To many people running in and out interruptions that were not customers. But employees were very helpful. This establishment needs a computer. I was not happy with her taking pictures on her phone if our personal information but was the only place to pick up our reservation. This made me feel very uneasy to see her doing this on a cell phone when it’s a business. U-Haul should provide them a computer.
