Don’t change their rental location last minute. I had troubles between using the app (as i was supposed to) and then having the system block because no app was used at that location… Service was very positive though. Very nice people.

My reservation was split into two reservations. I had to go pick up the truck at one location and then had to go to a second location for the moving equipment. I have two moving supplies in reservation : a trolley and a mattress cover. They did not provide me wit ha trolley saying that I had no reservation and the mattress cover was not the correct size. Furthermore, it was extremely difficult to get in touch with your employees and even more so in french. The french translation for the website is very badly done and would not be comprehensible for someone who does not speak french. Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience with U-Haul, and I hope it improves it's services in Canada.

Lorsque nous sommes arrivés, le dépositaire n'était pas présent. Nous avons du faire affaire avec une personne externe à U-Haul pour récupérer les clefs du camion. Cette personne semblait connaitre personnellement le dépositaire, sans ça impossible de récupérer le camion. Le plein de carburant nous a été annoncé à 1/2 alors qu'il était à 1/4. Nous n'avons pas pu prendre les photos pour l'état des lieux du véhicule avant départ car le site internet ne fonctionnait pas.

Le camion fonctionnait bien mais n’avait pas été lavé. Il y a avait de la nourriture sur le plancher de la boîte.

Non, pour les fins de semaine, il n'y a personne pour nous acceuillir le samedi ou dimanche. Le trailer n'était pas deneigé et il était pris dans la glace. De plus, je n'avais pas de rallonge pour les lumières, j'ai du passer au Canadian Tire m'en acheter une. Très déçu du service à Auto Centre Tropical

Je me suis fais charger 100$ de plus que votre facture que vous avez envoyer sur mon adresse courriel, l’emplacement du camion que je suis allez chercher etais sur 433 rue des adirondacks . C’etais assez etrange comme place , il etais situé dans une court de carroserie automobile breff le proprietaire de la place ma facturer 100$ de trop et j’ai eu aucun retard et tout je suis quand meme tres decue

I would like to say i’m a little disappointed, i’ve been charge for the 35$ assurance coverage that i didn’t ask for, second thing, the gauge of the truck had a problem and i had to full the gaz tank to be sure that i was been charge for insufficient fuel. I’ve been charged for the “extra” kilometre, i have asked for a U-Haul for Trois-Rivière and we had to go to Saint-Liboire picking up the truck, its 106 km from Trois-Rivière and U-Haul just add me an extra 75km, it’s 30km less than the ride i’ve to go back to Trois-Rivière PLUS we had to pay the gaz to go to Saint-Liboire we our personal car, PLUS the gaz for the truck to go back to Trois-rivière… so i’ve pay alot more that it was supposed to be and i would like to have some money back. 1. Ensure that the truck is in good working order. 2. Ensure that the location is safe for customers. The location, while admittedly, was in the middle of winter, was icy, causing my relative to slip and fall on the ice, risking serious injury. The staff there did not seem too concerned for her safety, even after being told she fell. The truck starter motor would not engage every time, resulting in multiple attempts to start the engine. The rear license plate was completely unreadable, the paints gone from the metal. We ran the risk of being pulled over and if not for the weather keeping law enforcement busy, The door was difficult, to the point of needing a steel bar to open it, due to the rollers being completely missing any lubricant, as well as one roller out of the track. The agent at the drop off location advised me that the truck should not have been sent out in this condition, and that he was going to send it to the main depot for proper repair, as it was unrentable in this condition.
