Unfortunately, the experience here was not the best. My booking time was for 5:30pm for a 15 foot truck. I planned my day specifically around that time and renting uhauls are usually a straightforward experience. Upon arrival, I could not find the place (no external signage whatsoever) so I phoned the business phone number. There was no answer. I got out and started asking around for the Uhaul location and was told by the owners of the business that this particular uhaul subcontracts space from hat no one was there and everyone from uhaul must have left for the day (despite business hours being posted until 6pm and having a confirmed reservation from days before). Eventually, with enough phoning, the uhaul representative answered and told me that his employees had left for the day even though I had the confirmed reservation. He said he was 35 mins away and asked if I could kindly wait until he could arrive back the business that should have been open (according to their own hours and website). As my move was extremely critical, I simply waited for him to arrive. Upon arrival, he adjusted my reservation to now include a $16 insurance charge that I always decline when renting a uHaul. Once I noticed it, I disputed the charge before leaving (now 30+ minutes late). He confirmed it would be removed and I went about my move. I have now received the bill and still see the $16 additional charge despite declining it upon making the reservation, despite phoning him before leaving to confirm it would be removed and lastly once again once the truck was removed. Supposedly a uhaul representative will be phoning me shortly but I have yet to receive a call back. Ultimately I took a chance on a closer location to my place but I think I will stick with my usual uhaul place going forwards.

Carol DCould not find my pick up location the address was wrong. Spent two hours on the phone until I figured out the real address on my own. Picked up the truck two hours late delaying my move. Received a call from the location apologizing telling me not to check out myself once done. Said send the info to a private cellphone number so I could get the promised $50 discount. I did so. They never checked me out. The next day I was charged double for a late checkout. Still not resolved.

Aileen SForgot to mention a deficiency in the return app. The van’s gas cap is in 2 pieces when you unscrew the black lid there’s a second white piece underneath that unscrews separately.
Lloyd GHe was not present at the time when we arrived. And had to move a bunch of stuff to get the U Haul out too so it all took longer than expected. The cab of the U Haul was also filthy gross that we had to clean it when we arrived to our house. Thought it was all unprofessional.

Additionally, the staff here are known for unprofessional automotive repairs — I strongly recommend avoiding any vehicle service or rental from this place. U-Haul should really reconsider working with such unprofessional partners. I believe the person we dealt with was named Mohamed or Abdul — I’ll confirm and update.
