It was a bumpy start from the get go, and that was not the location's fault. However, the very moldy furniture pads that he had kept in an old storage container was all on him. I called the number for the U-Haul agent that was in the window of the facility when no one was at the site upon our arrival, so I kept his number. Glad I did, because I called him when it came time to unfold the furniture pads, only to find them stiff and sealed shut with mold *yikes!* I was not about to use those on my family heirloom furniture! The van did not have all the dings indicated, and so we asked him to mark a few more, he seemed perturbed by our request. He took a long time getting us set up, and he did not seem familiar with the software. All in all, not a good experience.Laura N.

The day we returned the car trailer, the man at the location was very rude. I told him I was there to return the trailer. After several minutes of silence he asked if I had unhooked the car. I have survived cancer, so I'm pretty tough, but I'm not going to crawl around and try to unhook a car from a trailer. I said no I haven't. Again, silence. Then he said, are you going to? I said, well I need some help. He let out a heavy sigh, then went to grab his gloves and headed outside. I watched him unhook my car and thought, there's no way I would know how to do that. Plus, isn't that part of the service I paid for? When the car was off the trailer, I asked if I could leave the car there while we took the truck to unload. He said, I guess. I asked where I should park. He was very curt and said let me just deal with this trailer, then I'll figure out where to put your car. The next day when we returned the truck, he was nicer but he was still grumpy. I think that might just be his personality but it wasn't very pleasant to deal with after the frenzy of moving and driving 1500 miles. I won't use this location again.Rebecca G.

The guy couldn't produce me a receipt because he said the U-haul web portal was not working correctly. I never got a final receipt and he told me I was a day late when I had made arrangements to deliver it one day later than originally planned because of the long wait on pick up and the flat tires.Daniel K.

Truck was only U-Haul equipment on the lot, which was a 2nd rate auto repair place. I was deferred there when the store I reserved the truck weeks prior did not have the truck there at the pick-up time. This was a 1,300 mile move. Truck had no a/c or cruise control. Transmission slipped and I had to fill with fluid in Idaho since it was empty. I was pulled over both in Idaho and CA since there were no license plates anywhere on the truck. The truck broke down in traffic in CA with all dash lights and buzzers going off, and, never did go off. The Roadside assistance staff and staff at both dropoff locations were fantastic in helping me out. With a full load I was fortunate on this trip due to driving a safety hazard vehicle.Robert H.
