The truck i ended up with was trash. Leaked everywhere. Stuff in the back got soaked. I even was getting wet while driving the stupid thing. Which dont get me started on that!! Daaaamn!!! Felt like this thing was going to blow up!! Wouldnt switch gears until it was at 4 to 5k RPMS!!! WTF. I didnt feel like wasting time to swtich trucks, not the that the others looked any better. LMAO!! And at 99 F#cking cents a mile. I wouldnt go to another uhaul unless i saw a new truck sitting in the lot. Maintenance on their equipment seems to be non-existent.

I couldn't understand what the person behind the counter was saying and he got frustrated. I was told on the phone that I could just take the truck back to this location and drop the key in the box because it was after hours. But it wasn't after hours, and the guy at the store gave me a hard time about just trying to drop the key off. This whole Uhaul experience was bad. Poor customer service with people who don't know what they're doing and total apathy.

Picking up Uhual was difficult due the staff's accent very hard to understand. The truck was very loud and sounded like an old school bus! It was clean but very loud and stiff to move. Was even a half tank of gas in it either. It did serve it's purpose for my move so that was good.

This was an excellent, easy experience from pick up to drop off. The movers were phenomenal and they maintained their professionalism throughout the whole time. I would definitely use them again and refer them to friends and family.

Surly cantankerous curmudgeon crusty owner who did not want to help me register for my U-Haul truck as he said do it in my phone. I told him I was not good on the computer. Told me I am wasting his time and that his liquor store is his main business. Told me I am a one time customer and that his regulars come in everyday. I told him he is lucky to have so many alcoholics as customers at his liquor store. We were at the counter registering for my rental and he says move I have a customer and I said AM a customer. Finally got my truck and looked at gas gauge and then what he had put on contract and went back in and said you have 1/8 less gas in tank vs what is the actually reading. ONCE again he hollers at me and says what us on my phone is right . I say come out and look at the gas tank gauge. He hollers again and walks away. I have never had a problem with U-Haul employees BUT this was the owner of a U-Haul store. If I was a first time renter it would definitely be my last. He gives U-Haul a terrible black eye. Very dissatisfied repeat customer. When I got home I chose a truck that was too small. I returned it and he did have a 15 footer but I went to another U-Haul dealer 13 miles farther so that cost me an extra $26 dollars in milage but did nit want to give this Jerk any more if my money. The employee at this U-Haul store was friendly and helpful what I expect when renting a truck there.

Whomever the guy is in AYRA liquor store on Old Davidson rd. in racine wi is was very unprofessional.... Added items and equipment to my reservation..... As I was explaining that I didn't need such items (that I never selected in the first place) he proceeded to swipe my CC. Also told me that I would have to keep the truck the entire time during a scheduled for rental... whe in actuality I didn't.

1. Store personnel needs to be more knowledgeable about the rental process. It took more than 30 minutes to leave with the truck because of the lack of knowledge by the employee. 2. Similar situation when dropping off the vehicle. 3. The truck itself was flawless, and it was easy to operate.

Truck was dirty inside cab. There was mud on both the driver side floor and passenger side floor. It was obvious that it was not checked or serviced before I got it. The back inside of truck was not swept out as there were leaves inside. I was very disappointed in the cleanliness of the truck. The guy on site only had me do the online checkin and just gave me the key and told me that was my truck - he did not come out and show me anything regarding the truck. There was just over 3/4 tank of gas in truck when I got it but paperwork said to return at 15/16 of tank or will be charged extra. This was not accurate but I returned with full tank.

My reservation price was less. They added a 14.oo fee not on my original estimate. They called it, " Safe Move". I demand a refund of this fee. And, the rental agents barely spoke English, which made the renatal Difficult. The Truck was Dirty too.

The store owners were extremely rude and did not act in a professional way at all. U-Haul truck was dirty in the front cab and in the back of the truck box. Felt I made a big mistake renting from U-Haul and won't use U-Haul again.

We dropped the track off at 5:30pm the day after renting it. Gave keys to store personnel. By 11:30 am the next morning I still had not received return confirmation. I called and they checked it back in then. No refund yet for depo or unused time as promised. My credit card was hit for full amount. No one from customer service returning my emails with UHaul n

I got a confirmation, when I ordered online, that I could pick up the truck at 6am from this location. When I was heading out the door at 6:10 that morning, I got a message that my truck will be ready at 8. Even though it was a 24 hour pick up, I was unable to get the truck when I needed it. This resulted in me being about an hour and a half behind schedule and my helper being late to work. It turns out that the owner of this 24/7 location has the capability of being a 24/7 renter, but doesn't have it completely set up. I wish the website would have let me know this so I could have gotten a truck from another location in my area! Very disappointed! I was unaware of this issue until I went to pick up my, (once again) reserved and confirmed 6 am rental and when I got there, there was no link to "pick up my reservation". I noticed the time HAD BEEN CHANGED TO 10AM!!! I called a very helpful customer service representative, and she filled me in on this. With her help, I was able to get a truck at 8am (from another location nearby), but not without eating another 2 hours of my and my helpers time because of this! It's too bad because it's a great location. Once again, I wish the website would let users know that 24/7 pickup is not fully available at this location. It would have saved me so much more time that I needed to move my stuff!

I reserved a truck via the U-Haul app. I was unable to pick it using the app. The trucks were parked so closely together that the mirrors had been folded down and it was difficult to get into vehicles. The transmission in the truck that we used shifted inconsistently and abruptly. When I mentioned to the clerk, he didn’t seem to care.

The owner tried to charge me a 25 cleaning fee, and didn't see any trash at all, I only hauled workout equipment, I swiped the truck out and took a picture, a the own looked at the wear and tare that took place over the time he had the truck and determined I had to pay a clean up fee, never again will I ever rent a from them, scam artist

The owner (or manager) of the UHaul at Ayras Liquor 2121 was incredibly rude, and for no reason. I called him the day of pickup and asked if I could pick up the truck about 60-90 minutes earlier than scheduled, since I running ahead of schedule. He angrily said "NO" and that I would need to re-book the whole reservation. I then called the Milwaukee Uhaul regional office and the woman there said it would be perfectly fine to pick it up early. When I then went to Ayras, about 70 minutes before the scheduled time and told the owner that the regional office said it was OK to pick up the truck earlier, he again said "NO" (angrily) and said I would need to re-book the whole reservation. He was incredibly mean and rude about it...and the van was just sitting there. The man who made the original reservation for me, Shane at the UHaul location on 3 Mile Road in Racine, was super helpful. But I'd never go back to that awful guy at Ayras ever again.

Only negative comment is the truck was parked in between 2 other trucks and there was only about 2 feet on either side. Made me nervous to pull it out of the space. I parked in the same space when I returned it and it was tight on drivers side.

My only complaint is I was charged for 3 gallons of gas. I drove just over 30 miles, and I added $10 (3 gallons) 6 miles before I turned the truck in. I did not use 6 gallons of gas to drive 30 miles.

The truck came with a 300 lb granite slab in the back that made EVERYTHING difficult. Clearly this location did not inspect the truck. I informed him and took photos... he asked me to come back and throw it away or he will charge me. Overall.. by far my worst uhaul experience.
