I waited over an hour to get the truck. there was no appliance dolly in the truck, which made my move harder and longer, i have used u haul all my adult life when it came to moving. THIS TIME WAS THE WORSE TIME EVERReginald W.

I arrived at 8:00 as scheduled. While trying to pick up the truck through my mobile phone as scheduled I experienced an issue I guess. The screen read KEYCODE but no code was available so I walk into the building as instructed on my phone and no one is in the building at all, it was awkward. After coming outside and waiting until 8:40 which was 40 minutes after the scheduled pickup time, I was greeted by a man who worked here I'll assume. The man was very unprofessional and kept trying to tell me I was lying. I continued to show him information to verify my reservation and he still continued to waste my time. He walked outside to grab the key so that I could not obtain it, EVEN THOUGH I JUST PAYED THIS COMPANY FOR THIS RENTAL, and to both of are surprise the keys are not there. He then walks me into an office ask me the truck number and after I tell him he just hands me keys and leaves. I was so frustrated and just confused this morning. Completely ridiculous. On top of that they are trying to now charge me again and telling me I didn't pay this morning even though it's on my bank statement. I believe because I am young they were trying to scam me. Regardless total waste of time and hard earned money for sure ??.Courtney G.
I requested for a truck on English St, Mass ave called me to come and rent a truck from them instead I found it puzzled and more mileage to pay. I don't feel safe to drive there bec blind spots and not a great area to drop truck off after hours.Linda G.

The person handling the reservation didn't seem to know what he was doing as far as process. He didn't inspect trailer before I took it. I had to hook it up myself to vehicle. I am confident in my own ability to hook up trailer and did my own inspection, but was worried if there would be liability should they "find some damage" after my return that was already there before renting.Warren L.

The office was so unorganized and a mess I don't know how he could find anything.He definitely needs training on the rental system and have a printer that is operable to print out customer receipts..Then he felt because the initial U-Haul rep had screwed up on renting me a truck with a 2" ball welded to the bumper to pull a 33' RV that requires a 2 5/8" ball -- now I couldn't even switch out the ball size or use the truck to pull the RV-- I had to return the truck the following morning.He wanted to charge me 98.00 for the use of the truck for 1/2 day in which I drove it home 7-8 miles and drove it back the next morning. I was unable to inspect the ball or truck upon pick up due to it pouring down raining.Todd P.

after all said and done from a huge problem from another location, this location had a truck which was reserved by corporate while on phone complaining about the location that dropped the ball. we were given a $$ discount, which has been received, but ALSO 100 additional FREE miles on top of the 34 in the rental, to help with all the extra driving and inconvenience. We only drove 102 miles total. So with a total of 32 miles left in the FREE mileage column we should have only been charged for the actual truck rental $39.95 plus insurance $28.00! picked up and returned same location. however they charged us the original quoted price which was pick up one location and dropped elsewhere. So much for working with us and making it right! WILL NEVER rent from you again. This was my 3 time getting screwed over by uhaul! never again!!!Lisa J.

I have been a repeat customer for years and given this company thousands as I've moved over then years, but not anymore. I took a photo of the tank of gas at 50% fuel, which is what I was supposed to return the tank at. Uhaul then gouges me $10 for EZ fuel. I spoke to Ryan Clark who was an area manager who genuinely did not give any care or concern to my problems or trying to retain me as a customer, and was simply flat out rude and wanted to get me off the phone. This is a poor company it was a dirty office ran by a contractor that's very unprofessional. The uhaul need shocks it was a horrible ride. Paid for the uhaul up front and it took a hour for them to open the back of the truck. After I returned it the contractor added equipment charges and we never used equipment. After he called and emailed me everyday about charges on equipment that was not ordered or used. I do not recommend this location and if you drive there you will see why.Katie C.

The furniture pads I rented were dirty and wet when they were put into my uhual. Also, I paid for 12 pads and was only given 9. Also, the uhaul was almost out of gas when I was given the keys and told that they would not use their own money to fill up a uhaul for customers then wait to be reimbursed. I would not have minded having to stop and get gas as soon as I left the rental office if I was not on a tight, intra-state moving schedule but that was not good customer service at all.Samantha H.

Location was not opened as advertised. Charged $25 for cleaning, truck was clean. It wasn't washed but it was exact condition I rented it in. I had insurance through Uhaul that was charged for previous damage that was documented at previous location. I took before and after pictures/ videos. Seems pretty shady to me. I was also asked, over the phone, to leave my copy of the contract, which had documented damage. Was also asked if it was clean, my response, yes. I was only out $25 but be informed this doesn't sound right to me.John W.
This was the worst customer service experience I've ever had. We made a reservation online days in advance, but it took us over an hour in the store to get through the check out process. The owner had no idea what he was doing on the computer system. His sons were apparently supposed to train him weeks ago and he was the only person working that day. He did video call his son to help him through it, but he was half asleep (and not helpful at all). He eventually called a different person who was a little more willing to help. With this person on the phone and myself standing behind him at the computer, we were able to finish the process. It should not have taken over an hour. Please send a regional manager to this location to train this person. I will most likely never use U-Haul again if this is how you let your facilities run.Karissa R.
