This truck had a sloppy transmission. Trucks are not checked to be in working order. This is a place to store trucks between rentals. I suppose that's how UHaul does it, not particularly this site? There was no cruise control on the 20 foot truck. For a 550 mile trip, that really would have worked much better. The truck sometimes didn't start when I turned the ignition. It did nothing. But the second time it always started. This truck is not as comfortable as the 26 foot truck we rented earlier. Also, both times we went to get a truck, there was no truck. UHaul should do a better job of confirming a truck is back before renting it out. Luckily, the lady working could call the customer and he could bring it back. It still put us an hour behind and we had movers coming to load it. I am not impressed with Uhaul. It used to be a better run company.If the truck has not been returned, the customer should be notified with enough time to find another one! BEFORE it's needed.
Suzette TIt is not the locations fault, but UHaul should not jerk customers around. My location to pick up was switched multiple times…to make matters worse it was changed to its final location 5 minutes before pick-up…to a location 25 minutes away…I invite anyone at UHaul that believes this is acceptable to give me a call.

DANIEL GThe uhaul computer system was extremely slow when picking up my rental. This spawned delayed me by half an hour. This is of no fault of the location but is instead an issue with corporate Uhaul's IT systems. These systems should be improved to increase performance during high usage periods like the end and beginning of the month.

Michael IIt was a day rental, 5x8. Drivers side tire had steel bands showing. Some were broken. It survived my trip. I pointed it out on return. They said they would have it changed. Rental process was easy and flawless. People were easy to work with.
