Although the clerk at the gas station was helpful at the end, the whole process was lengthy and difficult. I don't think the process was clear to the clerk and he would not take the money for the rental. His answer was to contact Uhaul directly. I had to talk to the scheduler and she took the money over the phone. When I got to my destination the next day, I received a call and the person asked if I was cancelling the rental because I hadn't picked up the trailer. I had the trailer and uhaul didn't know I had it. The whole process was messed up. My biggest complaint was the clerk said he wouldn't connect the trailer to my car ! I talked him into it but he was very hesitant and made me feel like he didn't know how. It did happen but I afraid it wasn't correct. I must say in his defense he was always polite and nice to me.

The rep on the phone kept telling us, that there was not a 10 foot truck on site.
