I would definitely recommend this location but not specifically U-Haul. My problem is with the reservations made and the way they are handled. I initially reserved for pickup at a self pickup facility . When I made my reservation there was no mention whatsoever of having to provide specific documents or info needed to pick up the truck.. Matter of fact no pick up or drop off information was even offered until I asked about it. The guy I made the reservation with made it sound like it was extremely easy to do a self pickup and drop off. He offered a link for the drop off. I then asked about the pickup he said he would go ahead and send that one as well. My original reservation was for a Sunday morning pick up. I could not have possibly provided the documents or information required. My employer is not available to contact on Sunday morning to confirm who l am. The only next of kin I have is in Colorado Springs and it would have been 6:30 in the morning for her to accept the phone call to confirm something she knew nothing about.. I have a passport but it's expired and you required one that was not expired. Another document request was I could provide a copy of my lease. I've lived at my current location for 5 years renting without a lease. Even if I had a lease it likely would have been packed by then. The only thing I could give easily was my driver's license. The person I reserved with really should have explained the requirements for self pickup location. People are busy, we're moving we don't have a half an hour to stop and make calls to warn people to expect a call to verify who you are. Bottom line is your reservation department really needs to make sure people are aware when they reserve what your requirements are. I was fortunate that there was a regular full-service pickup location in the area and was able to switch my reservation. Service I received by the reservation department was absolutely unacceptable. I have rented from U-Haul many many times, and this experience damn near cost me a few hundred bucks as I had four people under contract to meet that morning to pack and load. In the future I will look very close at other truck rental companies before going right to U-Haul. Your customer service by phone is horrific. Oh and by the way I asked if there was the phone number to reach the department that handled self pick up locations and if it was in the link he was sending to me. He said no it's not. I had to ask for a phone number thank God I did because

GARY LI did not drive 100 miles AND filled it up with more gas than it originally had. I only drove 68 miles and they charged me for 100. When I asked for the receipt, he said it would be emailed to me which takes liability off them as I walked out of the store. He was so nice to us upon pick up, but I still wouldn't recommend this place because he charged for more miles than were driven and reported it was only a half tank when I left - eventhough it was more than half. Also, I ordered a dolly which was not in the vehicle upon pick up and at drop off I asked him to refund that amount. He said he told me the dollys were outside and told me to grab one but I had two friends in the store with me that confirmed he never said that to us upon pick up. He also said we would get a discount if driven 100 miles yet he didn't honor that discount of $1.19/mile like he said he would even though he charged for 100 miles. Nice guy in the intro but SCAMMER at the end
DELANEY MI was happy with everything except for a "Safe Tow" Insurance Coverage Charge added to my invoice without my agreeing to such charge. I called the Uhaul 800 number and they took it off however.
DANNY BHe was misleading on the how to return the truck fueling. Every rental that i have taken you had to return the truck full with gas. i over paid for gas and found out later when i filled up the tank.

ADAM DOne of the trailer tires waa significantly under inflated. Clearly the trailer wasnt prepared. The trailer was not clean which wasnt a major issue. During the rental a pin in the lighting harness broke preventing the right tailight and turn signal from working. The tire and wiring harness needs repaired before the next rental.

JOHNNIE LThe furniture dolly specifically mentioned pianos as one of its uses. However, the dolly failed and it created a very stressful rest of the process to move the piano, and it was one of the smallest pianos you can move. The dolly was not good quality. The trailer, the blankets, and the service by the associate I dealt with was great.

ROBERT STrailer had spilled oil on floor of trailer that was not cleaned up from last renter. Moving furniture in a trailer that smells and has slick oil on floor is not ideal, and had to put plastic covering on floor. Disappointing experience

MICHAEL WThe Man behind the counter originally rented me out a U-Haul that had a dead battery. Then he gave me the keys he told me it has a full tank bring it back with a full tank. After turning it on it was at the ¾ mark (not at a full tank) and when I took a picture in to show him he didn't want to see it he just said "bring it back the same way". When I returned it he didn't want to check it out with me to make sure there was no damage on my end. Just that I'll be billed later. My bill receipt says I should have been charged just over $97 but I'm currently being charged $102.37... So now I have to go back and find out why I'm being charged an extra $5 without any notice. Very dishonest but I didn't have any issues with replacement U-Haul.
