This was an awful experience. I rented a truck, 3 dollies, and 5 dozen blankets. I found out this location canceled everything but the truck and never told me. I had to spend an hour on the phone trying to track down a location that had blankets and for transferred more than 3 times. Then my wife had to drive 45 minutes round trip to go pick up blankets. When the utility trailer I was scheduled to rent did not show up at the expected time, they provided me with an alternate rental that was very satisfactory along with a price that was close to the utility trailer. This is an example of going above and beyond.DOUGLAS K.

this is the 2nd time I had a reservation and had to put in air in the tire as there was a warning when I first started the van.Sarom I.
Make sure that the maintenance is up to date. My truck had the tire warning light come on mid-trip.Dallas M.
Mark firstly did not call me back when I left a message for a call back. I walk in and he is on his cell phone when he could have checked the voice messages and called the customer back. He did not do a walk around to inspect the truck with me. He did not take a record of the gas in the car. I went back in and he gave a false reading stating the gas was at 3/4 tank when it was just on 1/4 tank. I returned the truck and he said I drove 20 miles when I did 11.9 miles. He proceeded to get beligerant with me and threatened to have me removed from the premises. He did not even try to look at my numbers of the mileage that I know I drove because it was all very close and only a few miles between the U-Haul, my residence, and the Storage Unit. I have been overcharged and mistreated as a Customer. I will be contacting my attorney on this matter. I DO NOT recommend U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer on Bailey Road, in Manvel, TexasLESLEY A.
A better return area. Had the 6x12 trailer and had to wait for a majority of people to leave before properly being able to back in the trailer to parking spot. Had to move two other trailers in order to do so.ROLANDO A.
Gave me a truck with bad door. Told me to just push down on it harder to close. Well the door wouldn't open nor close while I had a load in it and they still wanted to charge next to full price. Was able to use the truck for 8 hours before the door completely broke and they think 10 cents per mile Refund is good.KEVIN B.

It was raining and they were helping a person before me and there was a person that came in after me. The owner helped the person before me hook up his car to the truck he was renting, came in soaking wet and efficiently took care the paperwork for me and then came outside and showed me the particulars of the trailer I was renting. He was very efficient and friendly. Very professional.Steven G.

The check oil light was on in the truck and it made an awful sound whenever you would press on the break and the truck was off...the truck was given to me turned on, so when I realized the issues, it was too late for me to return the truck since we had already started loading. When I returned the truck, I brought it up my concerns to the same employee working the front desk and he said "yeah we know about it and we've had the mechanic look at it. It probably needs an oil change but it's only doing short moves around town, no more than 50 miles, so it's probably all right". I again mentioned the sound and told him "you know, it just sounds like something is really wrong and I'd hate for a customer of yours to break down with a full truck or get hurt." He responded "Yeah I mean it shouldnt do that and it's only going short distances...as long as we keep putting oil in it it's fine. The sound is probably because of the electrical component in the engine. Most of the vehicles make that sound when starting up because the new ones are fuel efficient." But then later also mentioned that the truck was old...I don't know. But the employee stated that they were aware the truck had issues and knew they needed to do something about it... acknowledging that they hadn't done something and were still renting it to folks. The check in and out experience went fine. Equipment was clean and all provided as asked.AUDREY S.

I want a refund on the cleaning fee. When I picked up the vehicle it was filed with dog hair and oil was spilled in the back. I told a picture when I picked it up! If you do.
