Said on the truck $19.95/day. I rented the truck for two days and drove 14ml. End up paying $103. This is rediculus. NOT AS ADVERTISING

I had a terrible experience with U-Haul today. I rented a truck, but when I arrived at my workplace, the back door was locked, and the code provided was incorrect. I went to the nearest U-Haul location for assistance since the first location’s phone number was inactive. The second location attempted to help, but the code still didn’t work. Eventually, I returned to the original location with two witnesses, and after much effort, they managed to open the lock. Despite providing clear evidence and multiple witnesses, they refused to acknowledge their mistake. On top of this, they unfairly charged me for an extra 80 km, which I should not have been billed for. This was by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced, with unprofessional and disrespectful staff. I am extremely frustrated and will likely file a formal complaint. I was paid extra hours for the people I hired as well. I strongly request all clients to not rent a U-haul from this location.

I booked 10 ft U-Haul but they didn’t had one and also they charged me for two days rental however I only used it for 3 -4 hours and returned it. The guy also added CDW without telling me which I was unware about. It is the terrible service I have ever got. I would not recommend anyone to book u haul from them. They can’t charge me for anything without my consent.

The cab of the truck was messy with garbage when it was picked up, other than it they were good

The cab was clean but smelled terribly of cigarette smoke, so much so I had to buy products to try and defuse the smell. I’m not an anti smoker and actually don’t mind the smell but this was off the charts horrible !!!! There was a no smoking sign in the cab ?? Why did U-Haul allow it from previous renters ?? Had there not been a crunch for time I would not have taken it. Not even a mask helped !!!

Truck was disgusting. Steering wheel was sticky and cup holders and the dash were covered in a stick liquid and were very dirty. Air condition did not work. Worst experience ever and 100% not worth the money

The gas light was on and the attendant did tell me to get gas. I did not make it to the gas station and it took my family 45 mins to get the Jerry can of fuel to get me to a gas station.

Everything with the van was great. However, the inside was dirty with dried mud. Other then that, the van drove very well, only have 11000 km on it helped too. Easy to full at the gas station. Great on gas. Had it for 3 days and only had to put $35 worth of gas in. It also had a review camera to help back up. I appreciate that since it was my first time driving a van. I am glad we rented the van from UHAUL. The location of the pick up was close and convenient, which was nice. I found it strange to get it from a convenience store, only because in Ontario, we have stand alone UHAUL brick and mortar stores to go to. But all in all, great experience first time renting a van in Alberta.

Went to pick up the truck and there was crack heads hanging out in the back of it. Location is terrible and cannot believe U-Haul has trucks stored here. Terrible experience and dissatisfied with the experience as well the fact of the money spent and my time wasted.

I was charged an extra $59.60 for no reason. I was reimbursed but would not have even known about the charge if I didn’t check my statements!

The teller gave the phone to somebody and that person asked me to give my credit card number as well as the CVV number over the phone. There were other customers in the store as well. Not cool.

Check in was by phone. Man did not know how to use the checkin form. It took 25 minutes to check in for a 2 hour rental. The van was filthy inside and out. I will not use this location again. It does not look good on Uhaul!
