It's silly to be asking about the location, as the location had little to do with my experience, since it's all online now. Uhaul has some work to do on the digital experience. I was on the phone multiple times with multiple online agents (all of whom were excellent by the way) over nearly two hours at the location, trying to complete my rental and get the key. I had done the online check-in before arriving, but had received no instructions on getting the key. The processes suggested to achieve this as suggested by the online agents were not working (and I'm pretty sure this was not their fault). After nearly two hours, the system finally recognized my order number and provided prompts for the key. Very frustrating overall. The actual experience with the cargo van itself was fine.

We were supposed to receive a two day rental vs a one day rental as part of allowances offered by uhaul for the 26 foot truck equipment not being available in nearby Nashua, as first represented, and being later told just as about to pick up truck, that we instead had to drive 50 miles or so to pick a truck up in Danvers MA or Littleton, MA. The contract was accidentally written as a one day vs. two day (per allowance) rental.

Your people were wonderful!!! There was some confusion with the new lock code system, but, a woman stayed on the phone with me after hours until the situation was resolved! She was very patient because I was distraught thinking that I couldn't get into my unit and empty the truck. It turned out that the gate was still open because the system hasn't started.

I am super upset about this rental. We were not allowed to rent it for 1 day and forced to rent for 2 days. We returned the next day and then found out when returning this truck that there was a mileage limit that was not disclosed upon reservation or pick up which doesn't even cover the distance from where we needed to move to where we needed to go. There were highway detours though NY and NH AND we needed to go to Hoosic Falls to get this truck from Greenwich because the APP/Web showed it was the only 10' truck available (none avail in Greenwhich). The APP said $199 to rent, the website said $144 (which we booked through) and then when we went to pick it up they couldn't figure out the rental and tried to charge us $288. After 35 min of waiting and phone calls to Uhaul it was settled at the $144 which is STILL wrong because we didn't want or need it for 2 days only 1 day. We go to drop it off at the address on the agreement and they told us they were not taking it, and we were at the wrong location, another 20 min and they took it and charged us for mileage. THis is the WORST experience ever and I will never rent from U-haul again. WE were duped, and over charged and forced to rent for a longer period without knowing there would be additional mileage charged. The 125 miles would cover ONLY U-haul to U-haul and no where in between. This would mean we need our moving needs to be at each uhaul location which is absolutely ridiculous. I want a refund!!!!! The location that I had reserved to pick it up was not the location that I got it. When I went to pick it up the first location knew nothing of my reservation and did not have the size truck I needed. And I had called to see if I could pick it up Friday night instead of Saturday morning, they said yes but not only was it not at that location but I could not get it until the next day.

I'm not at all happy to have been charged a $25 “cleaning fee” after leaving the van in the exact same condition it was given to me. Also from the looks of it I was charged to fill the whole tank of gas when I used hardly any (as in less than even a quarter tank, the thing moved 1 line). I understand being charged because I forgot to replace the gas, but the price was pretty steep. And when I went to pick up my key in the drop box and it wasn't there, had to wait inside for someone to get it. I've had good experiences at this location before but they dropped the ball this time.

I was disappointed that no refund was permitted for moving blankets that I ended up not using, and returned untouched in the original plastic bags in which they were provided. I did not expect friends to show up with moving blankets, which is why I ended up not using the rented ones.

It's tough to answer this survey the way it is. The reason I said no to the second question was because the low tire pressure light was on. I filled the front tires and it stayed on and then called your 800 number and they were going to transfer me to roadside assistance. I didn't have time to take out of our move for this so I just took a risk that it would be ok. You shouldn't let a van be rented if a light is on.

Was charged $20 for EZ fuel. I returned the truck with exactly the exact amount of gas as when I left with it. In fact I overfilled the tank by accident last time I rented from balcom brothers. I hope you will not incur that charge.

My experience was just awful, awful Awful. Milford motors, Frank coffee, lost my reservation or I suspect never completed the reservation. I found out when I went to pick up the truck and there was no truck. And The sign said open, yet I had to wait for 20 minutes for Frank to show up at 8:40. i had movers waiting for me to show up at my house. Lucky he found another truck 4 miles away, which I was able to rent. I showed up to my house 45 minutes late. Frank's employee remembered entering my information. But I suspect the reservation was never completed as I did not receive a confirmation email which I later found out that I was supposed to have received. Richard Fallon
