It's so wonderful to have a local place to rent a van. U-Haul is cheaper than renting a car elsewhere, which is sad, but cool and keeps us coming back- as long as we don't need to move passangers!Willow T.
Teach all the staff how to do a UHaul rental transaction before you have them try to do it with a customer! We did everything online to save time for a tight schedule that morning, then ended up standing there for an hour while the guy tried to figure out how to process it. Then he gave me the wrong key, the wrong van with all the wrong info on the paperwork. (The right info for the right van) I checked the plate numbers and saw it matched another van so I went back inside. He was going to redo all the paperwork but someone else yelled over to him to just give me the right key for the right van. (This person also saw the guy struggling to process this and never came over to help him!) I'm assuming he was new so, lack of training was probably the real issue here. When I returned the van, there was one girl at the desk in the office who said she was too busy to receive the van in. She acted annoyed that I was standing there, wasn't very friendly & said when she had time she'd look at the van and send me an email. Overall the check-in/check-out process was a bad experience but, the van was in good condition & exactly what I needed which is why I gave 2 stars.Melody F.
I wish that the hitch size was easy to find when viewing trailers online. We did not have the right one and had to leave to buy one and return. Minor inconvenience but they adjusted the drop off time so it worked outRachel S.
