Picking up the truck after hours using the app is very difficult to navigate. I was not given any direction and the app needs to have better more clear directions to navigate. I’m good on my phone and using technology but this was difficult

RYAN ROnly problem was the mobile pickup. Spent 1 1/2 hours on the phone because I couldn't get the code sent to my phone. Representative was great in assisting me throughout.

RAJAN RI had to drive 15 miles to drop off the uhaul when I picked it up 3 miles from my house. That’s $15 additional dollars, when there was a closer location.

DARRELL DAttendant was quick and to the point and got us on the road quickly, and the price & included mileage was very fair--appreciated all of that. One thing that could be improved: we elected to return the truck at a different location in the city (Chicago), but when we got there, the onsite attendant said that they "re-routed our dropoff to another location." We did not receive any text or notice prior to that. I thought that since, early in the morning, we had selected our desired dropoff location, that our spot should have been reserved. Instead, we got bumped because that location had too many trucks arrive. Not the fault of the attendants, but Uhaul IT/systems dept could improve their reservation system--perhaps they could license software from SpotHero or ParkWhiz, and integrate that into Uhaul's system, to reserve "parking/dropoff spots" and maintain in real time, available & reserved parking spots at each of their locations. ParkWhiz or Spothero might be open to this type of revenue opportunity.

Mark TI had a hard time with returning the truck ona Sunday .. had a hard time w the U-Haul app and trying to take pictures… it’s hard when ur busy and moving and then trying to read the directions on how to return it !

ROBERT BI returned the truck in good condition at about 9 PM on Saturday evening. There was no one at Beer any auto to accept the return due to the late hour. Video surveillance from the camera mounted right above the dropbox should confirm this. I am very upset that I was charged for a late return in an extra day as well as an extra day of insurance. I expect a refund of these charges. This is an unfair business practice and needs to be reviewed by state regulatory agencies. You may contact me to discuss this matter at any time.
Robert PI have said it in past rental reviews that you need to put tie-down eye hooks in the trailers, it would be easier to hook buggies in multipel places.

Alan Mperson accepting drop off was not helpful at all. i asked if I signed something to return truck. he said just do it on line. I went home. what he should have said was you can sign in on line BUT you need to take picture of milage and youll need to use phone to register your location . I had to drive back to the drop off location to do these things. what a waste of time because he didnt bother to tell me this

bruce wIt took us a while to find the entrance to the business, there were so many trucks and vehicles in the lot, you couldn’t see the door. Other than that they were friendly.
Tarina RWhile the truck was free of trash the cab was very dusty, dirty and grimy. Routine maintenance of the driver’s area would be suggested to improve the experience.
Dawn KNothing wrong with the location, though they just handed me the keys and pointed. Good thing there’s nothing unique about a 16 year old Ford van chassis. This unit should be reserved for local moves, in my opinion. Steering and front suspension are more than a bit loose, for a 400 mile trip.

Paul RI was charged $20 for returning it during overnight hours even though I did the full return process through the app. This aside, this location is always great.
Paul RDashboard and cab was dusty. Invoice was designed to charge customers for fuel. Fuel was not full but 7/8, which is hard to judge. I drive 14 miles and added almost 2gal gas but was still charges $10.50 for fuel!

Phillip GWhile the equipment was clean, it was not well maintained. Three times along my rental I had to stop along the side of a freeway because the engine heat signal was red lining. Additionally, when I arrived the trucks were so close together I had virtually no room to properly inspect the vehicle for scratches or damage. Finally, none of the additional equipment I booked was in the truck, and the key in the lock box was the wrong key for the truck I was assigned. The staff on site were INCREDIBLY friendly and helped quickly rectify some of these problems, but had I used 24/7 pickup and picked up at a time the location was closed I would have been unable to take the rental.

Juan RThe after hours return process wasn't explained to me when I picked up the truck and it was really frustrating finding out I needed to take pictures of the truck after I had already parked it in a rather tight spot. Would've liked to have known I needed to take pictures beforehand, would've made it a little easier.
