I would not recommend this location to any customers. It was filthy, there was an open alcohol container in the office and the truck was on empty and we were told that is our problem to deal with.
JOHN MThis is an excessive charge and will not use this U-Haul again. $30 fuel charge plus 10 gal of fuel added at $5.98 per gallon! I was already charged per mile of use. The truck was basically on empty when I got it and there is no way I used 10 gallons of fuel for 28 miles of use. Additionally the self pick up was problematic and had to reach out to UHaul directly for assistance. The owner did call back eventfully while I was using the truck but was unaware of why I called in the first place. The truck its self was clean and functional.
Michael AVehicle was very dirty inside. Dirt on the floor on both sides, coffee stains all over the center console. Windows were dirty inside and out. I did not receive clear instructions on how to access the vehicle when I picked it up. I cleaned off the dash and console so I didn't get blamed for the mess. I swept the floor out and threw away McDonald's trash left by the previous user.
Ronald SGave me a truck on empty. None of the requested equipment was included. Went back at 11 which is the opening time to get the Dollie’s and blankets, and they still weren’t open. Asked the worker to help me out the lock back on. Told me to move the truck across the street and he would. He was busy smoking a cigarette. I wasn’t about to move the truck because it had NO GAS in it! I’m not getting pegged with that!

miguel pSmall site to host a U-Haul. Egress onto busy street without signalization. POSITIVE NOTE - The Ford power plant was solid. Performed better than expected with a solid power to economy balance. Only 38K on the unit too.

Craig SPerson at this location had us look through multiple trucks to find the one we rented. Forgot a box in the truck and they claim it was never in there.

Brian MBrake lights and turn signals on the trailer did not work, so I was unable to use it. Personnel on the pickup location suggested I drive it anyway to a location across town to try to get it fixed. I did not take this advice as it is unsafe and illegal to drive without working brake lights and turn signals.

GARRET LWe book almost every month a 26 ft truck for outreach purposes to pick up goods and kinds to hand out to the public. Made reservation to pick truck up at 9am. Time was changed without our approval to 930 then to 10am. We had an appointment at 10am to pick our load. Volunteers work to do this for us, and where completly put out even before we meet the Jerk of a representative for uhaul. We Show up to pick the truck up and no one is there, but we use the mobile app to check in. Still no one around. Call the number listed on the reservation representative of uhaul after getting checked in. A dude on a cell phone answers bothered, and unprofessional. I asked where to get the key. In a jerk attitude tells me he will get there when he gets there probably be there in 20 to 30 minutes. Really!!! He gets there around 1030 takes us into a area where he sells junk. Tells us he is not with uhaul and not sure why we bothered him. Finally gives the key after making us check in again even though it was already done on the app. Dude representing uhaul was a dick head and that's saying it nicely. He is scummy con man representing your company. You should take his rights away from representing uhaul its a very bad look. I am going to make it a point to review this location everywhere I can, completely not acceptable.

JOYCE OI went to this oak Street location to deliver the automobile transporter first Nate helped me him and his coworker unhooked me guided me off of the truck off of the truck off of the vehicle transporter they guided me perfectly they unscrewed and did unhooked everything for me they were very nice very polite very knowledgeable I brought in my truck the following day again Nate helped me there he received the truck he checked the gas he could took the dolly he looked at everything he was great very very helpful man this man Nate and I will highly recommend oak Street U-Haul to anybody who asked me these two companies together you guys they did outstanding I was very relieved very happy very distressed it was a great experience Anna Vicario once again

julio rI requested the truck in Delano. I scheduled 3 weeks prior to getting and I called multiple times prior to day of pick up, because i wanted the mto confirm pick up in Delano. They told me the truck would be ready in Delano. No they lie to me. I went to pick up in Bakersfield. I paid extra for fuel. they lie to you. Last time i get them

Kenneth MWhen it was informed about picking up vehicle we had no gas in the truck. We was also told to return the truck with the same amount of gas to the location. However, we was charged for not having it at a 1/8 even though we had eat it the way we was informed.

Rodney WPerson was not in office during business hours had to wait and on top he was rude and was trying to charge a cleaning fee or miles for some rice that accidentally spilled in the back. Even though we were returning the Uhual way earlier than drop off time. He was still rude.
