Uhaul was in poor running condition, with the service engine soon light on. I was told the gas Guage was at 3/4 full and it had less than that, making me foot extra money upon return to ensure it was 3/4 full so I wasn't charged more upon return. The dolly I paid for was not in the Uhaul upon pick-up, so I had to go back and pick-up. We turned in the Uhaul a day early and received no credit or reimbursement. Diary Diamond folks were awesome! Friendly and super helpful. I have no issue with the location. I DO have an issue with UHaul specifically. The price I ended up paying was significantly higher than expected. I selected this location for its convenience and was able to book the pick up delivery round trip via the UHaul website. After reservation confirmation I received a call from U-Haul stating this was a 1 way location only. The other location is Ashville was the same way. At no time did anyone tell me there was a price difference let alone an increase. You advertise $19.95 on the trucks. Not what I got. Sneaky UHaul. When I picked up the truck, I learned my price was over $130 for a few hours' use because it was not a round trip usage. THERE WERE NO ROUND TRIP PICK UP/DROP OFF LOCATIONS IN MY AREA, YET I WAS NOT TOLD OF THE PRICE INCREASE. I was also not told, nor did I see it on the website (which I used to book my reservation in the beginning) that the price was other than $19.95 plus mileage. When I called U-Haul for clarification they quoted me a different daily rate and $.99 per mile. Again NOT ON THE WEBSITE WHEN I BOOKED THE TRUCK. I thought using UHaul would save me money, but this was beyond saving money. It's rigged in my area and I CAN ASSURE YOU I WON'T USE UHAUL AGAIN. BE CLEAR WITH YOUR INFORMATION. STOP HIDING RATES AND SURPRISING CUSTOMERS WITH HIGHER RATES WHEN THEY ARE COMMITTED TO USING THE TRUCK. BAD BUSINESS. YOU JUST LOST A CUSTOMER UHAUL.Barbara C.

Don't bother calling for a U-haul. The business is tied to a pizza place and they don't have the time or patience to offer any service. I called on Sunday to reserve a u-haul, and was told they were too busy making heart shaped pizzas and to callback in a few days. My second call was even worse. She immediately started telling me it would be much easier for her if i did this online. I had to pick up before 4pm because she will be too busy making pizzas to help after that but if i want to pick up on Saturday i will need to self checkout because she is going to Virginia to visit her sister. She just kept repeating that i should do this myself online. When i finally called her out for blowing me off and now treating me like i was a huge inconvenience she refused to place my order. Just skip this one. It's a waste of your time. No need to add this much small town drama to an already stressful move. I have no idea how this place stays in business. Seriously, horrible service. There is no lack of competition. there are 2 other rental places in the area, choose one of them.Jacquelyn J.

The 24-7 truck share was an nightmare. The process upon arrival and returning took 2 hours of just sitting there trying to pick up/ drop off. That took valuable time away from my moving day. The truck was park in a muddy lot. With two inches or rain almost got truck stuck leaving the lot. Terrible experience overall regret using it.ryan H.

The person who received the trailer said he didn't need to sign any paperwork. We took a photo of the trailer next to the building to prove we returned it. Would feel more comfortable if there was some way to show return vs. just dropping off, if during business hours.Carole C.

The site itself was great, the lady was very nice! But the online services setup and customer service was a nightmare. We tried online ordering to pickup before hours and it would not go through, pushing our move back by 2 hours. The call center woman just kept saying â€œumm,â€ not giving us any answers and jus reiterate our problem was our fault. I will never be using U-Haul again. I'd rather pay double the cost for better costumer service. The woman at the baseball diamond was great, she tried to alleviate our problem the best she could but wasn't aware of it until she got there at 10, and we had already been there for an hour and a half.Sean W.

Be honest! I was never told or asked about the insurance. A $54 dollar rental of a trailer cost me over $100!!!! Was never given a receipt had to take a picture of it with my phone. I couldn't make out the receipt but just took it for granted that the guy was being fair with me? I called and complained and still haven't heard back from Uhaul!? Its been a week still nothing!? I also noted that there were two other charges on my card and would like a explaination?JAMES O.

First of all I didn't rent the uhaul from the location I reserved it. I had to drive 15 mikes out of my way to pick it up . When we got there , there was no signs stating where the office was , I had to call uhaul to ask where everyone was . Went back of a pizza place to get paper work and keys . I was uncomfortable with that . The drop off was a lot better placeJOY F.
I find it galling that when a reservation has been made ahead of time that on the day prior to the scheduled pick up the customer is informed that they have to drive 30 minutes to pick up the truck because it's not available at the preferred pick up location. The additional miles may have been added but this did not account for the time required to pick up and drive back or the gas used for this trip. I was extremely displeased and will certainly think twice before I book anything from UHaul in the future.Stephanie L.

After having to make 2 trips (2 hr trips each way= 8 hrs on the road) and paying for the additional gas, because of getting stuck with a smaller truck than originally reserved, I was finally moved in. The best part of this whole rental was dropping it off, knowning i didn't have to be on the road anymore. After this experience, I don't care to deal with Uhaul ever again.Ashley K.

The property owner who rented the truck mad it sound like uhaul always minimum charges you for 70 miles.once your miles are shown after truck return you would be reimbursed. I was actually charged more money the next day because the limit was actually 30 miles and we drove 45. So we we're missing informed an taken advantage of.Lisara C.
