the entire online checkin process was a disaster. The code would not come through and we had to call customer service. We held for almost 30 min. and then they had to reset the code multiple times. We had people waiting on us and what should have been a smooth 5 min. process took us almost an hour total. would not recommend this to anyone who is on a schedule of any sort.

The truck we were given did not match the i.d. numbers on the paperwork. We were told that there was a full tank of gas, when there was in fact only 1/4 tank.

Please review your recorded line regarding the drop off. I tried calling the drop off location to confirm drop off. The phone was busy for 2 hours. I called the 800 # to confirm location and theytold me the drop off location had been changed via email the day before. I was traveling the day before and had no access to email. I registered a complaint about the service and the agent was rude! Said she could not be responsible for previous problems and hung up!!!!

Run the other way if you are a female or a minority. The Uhaul Representive responded to my “hello how are you” question with a “you don’t want to know” response. Then he stated that I was late and that he was on his way home. I told him to go ahead and that I would leave the keys in the drop box. He then threatened to charge me for an extra day if I used the drop box and took the keys from me. I witnessed him backing the Uhaul truck into Two other Uhaul trucks and bumped the front bumper. Long story short, he said I owed him for overages. He refused to look at my contract and stated that he had to go by what the computer said. I adamantly refused because I had proof of not being late and a map quest reading showing Exact distances...he finally agreed and yelled that I needed to take it up with U-Haul and that he does not get paid enough for this “crap.” Wow! Run away!!

Vehicle was dirty inside, the steering jerks left and right when going over 25mph. Very unsafe truck due to the steering problem and it needs an alignment. The vehicle had a hard time pulling even when empty and would shake when idle at stop lights. Very poor MPG. Overall the worse Uhaul vehicle I have rented so far, normally their newer and under 50k on the miles, this was almost at a 100k and it showed it. Got and average score since the guy there was somewhat helpful. At first he didn't want to let us park our car there when picking up the truck. Dissatisfied customer here.

As soon as we arrived the guy appeared to be frustrated with us for no apparent reason. He charged us a cleaning fee even after we explained to him that that's how we got the truck. He was extremely rude and unprofessional.

The vehicle rented had a horrible shake at 70 miles an hour with a 1000 mile drive. The vehicle was clean and otherwise in good running condition. But the drive with that vibration on highways was Horrible.

This will be very hard to believe but here goes. Walked in to rent a truck, person on site was staring at the computer screen, never looked up at me and said "Can I help you?" I did not reply because he continued to stare at his computer. So I sat down at a chair in front of his desk. He finally looked at me and said "Can I help you?" and I said "yes, can I rent a truck?" Okay, from there everything went as normal can be. Three to four hours later after I was done with the truck, I returned it to the same location, walked in the office, and no one around. Waited about 3 to 4 minutes, still no one. Computer screens were logged in free for anyone to enter data or do anything. So I looked in the back room and I saw a man working. I yelled, (cause it was very noisy) "Hey Buddy can you help me with turning in my rental?' The guy came out and said " What the F*** is wrong with you?" "You don't go scaring someone that is working in a machine shop, I could ruin an engine!" I was stunned. I started to say "I...I..." and he stopped me and said "Now I guess you want to say your sorry" And I said "No, and how was I supposed to know anything about a machine shop, I'm here to turn my truck in" And he in a very angry voice said "You never yell in a machine shop, I could have ruined an engine but I guess you don't give a F*** about that!" And I said "You are very correct, I could give a F*** about you or the engine, and you can go F*** yourself Fat Man!" And then he told me to get out. I went outside and the guy that originally wrote up the contract came over and took the keys and said I was all checked in and I could go. Never apologized for whoever the other guy was that worked there or said thanks for your business or don't come back or anything. I will NEVER rent a truck from there. I hope people read this and never rent from here.

Tp have gotten the enthusiasm that BBT had to offer was darling. Plus, they love classics, regarding cars. They were friendly, cordial, and helpful. Loved the experience! What can I say, it was a human experience. For a change.

I had a reservation at 1 place when I got there they didn't have the truck so they told me that they had one across town where I just drove from. At the next place I waited along time because there was a person being helped in front of me and I noticed how slow the guy was going,I informed the sales person that I had already filled out my stuff online and I needed to be somewhere before 2pm the guy just sat back in his chair and yonder and told me I'd I needed quicker service I needed to go elsewhere the guy deliberately went slow of of course I didn't make it were I needed to be by 2pm

I did mobile pick up, the van was not ready for pick up. We had to wait about 30 minutes for someone to come out and start the reservation process. Which took another 30 minutes or so for him to check in the van from the last person who used it, and to check it out to me. When I returned it, I made sure I did mobile return so i would not have to deal with waiting on the staff.

This guy is so rude!! I don't understand how doing business here is somehow a disservice to him but I surely will go to the other place less than a mile away from now on because she is always nice and I need a uhaul 1-2 times per month.

I don't write reviews because I never felt the need to. Sad to say, that should tell you how bad this experience was for me. So, 8:17 am I finally get out of the car to try the door and a man comes strolling out of the back. Still, no lights inside! The man was rude and the lady who called (Carmen..Candance maybe, I do not recall her name) WHILE I was already in the office in BBT to tell me they did not have the trailer I rented online told me " YOU ARE LUCKY YOU ARE GETTING A TRAILER AT ALL." They laughed together on the phone about how upset I was over the fact that they were getting over on me about the $50 guarantee that is promised online when you book. He made sure to call around to a few places in front of me and say "Hey...I have a disgruntled lady here and I want her to know she is not getting a 10' truck today around here so not bother driving around here." He then tells me he doesn't even have a reservation for me in his computer. When I try to show him my email, he brushed me off and said he doesn't want to see it because it does not matter. I made a reservation online with a promise to have a certain vehicle that I ordered for 8am pick up. The guarantee should be honored! They offered me a bigger truck truck which I did not need and guess what? Takes more gas to fill. Let's get to this vehicle he gave me. Both times we turned if off, it went dead! That's right! On top of all of the drama of that morning ( I didn't mention all of it here), the battery went dead on the truck. We just notified the drop off location and jumped it ourselves since we were only going 29 miles. Also, know that if you pay with a debit card, there is a $100 deposit fee added on to the bill. Mark, a different man that this guy we were dealing with called, waived it because I was positive it did not state it anywhere when I booked. Ofcourse, the man repeated, "Are you sure you want to do that? Are you sure you are ok with that? Ok, you are the Boss!" Smh The drop off location was excellent! A+ with Customer service and kindness. What a difference compared to this dark, cold, dirty place. Uhaul dropped the ball allowing places like BBT Inc use their name alongside their own.

When I booked the truck I selected mobile checkin for speedy process picking up truck However I waited 20 minutes while system was attempted to be accessed I’ve rented many trucks from U-Haul at many different locations Have always left my personal vehicle on U-Haul lot for a one day rental This location communicated that leaving my personal vehicle presented overflow issues with their lot
