Robert M.I made my original reservation at the Annapolis location, near the mall, because it is close to my work and I could leave my car there. My reservation location was moved by U-Haul and I was not notified. Not an email. Not a phone call. When I arrived at the Annapolis site and was told I had to go somewhere else, well, you can imagine my frustration. It was significant additional stress that I did not need on my moving day. However ... once I arrived at BDK Flooring the woman that assisted my was courteous and very professional. She listened to my issue, apologized for the lack of communication, and then explained how she will deal with fixing things for the future. Again, I feel this was great customer service on her part, given the situation. I gave the poor marks above so it would be noted there was a big problem with my reservation. My Below Average mark for the location is really a measure of my frustration with the reservation mixup. Equally, I want to commend the person at BDK flooring for the excellent way she delt with my situation. I apologize for not recalling her name. I'm not sure if this notification usually happens at the national or local level but given the importance of where to pickup your reservation I think this should be done with a phone call AND a confirmation email after the call.

However, I do think it's ridiculous that the day before I was told that the only 26' U-Haul available would be nearly three hours away from me. I had to rearrange everything and end up with a smaller U-haul closer to me, and of course because it was smaller I couldn't fit everything.
Mark M.The original drop off location chosen from the list and on the contract indicated that they do not accept trailers once I arrived, and could not tell me what to do with the trailer. I made a random call to BDK and they were very helpful. The system should not allow you to pick a drop off location that does not accept the type equipment. Wasted a lot of my time.

FRANCO N.Maybe it's Uhaul in general, but you need to work on the rails you have in the truck bed used to secure your freight. I feel the straps sold in a Uhaul store totally mislead the customer. I had to spend 15 minutes on each item that was loaded heavy to tie down. It's awkward at best to secure your items with your wood slates that have no way even to secure a Bungie cord. NO ROOM behind the boards. Come on! More so about the 2435 Mountain Rd, Pasadena, MD 21122 location. The person that sold the rental was nice but made an error. However, the person that received it back on Sunday was rude and short. I asked for a refund for the pads since I didn't use them, and she sharply said NO!

Overall the UHAUL Experience with booking online for a Bowie, MD Location, didn't have my truck on a guaranteed reservation, was sent to Glen Burnie and promised I will have a truck, none either. Finally was sent to Pasadena, MD to BDK Floors. I am baffled at the lack of care at the 800 Customer Service for UHAUL. I asked for a one way rental and was forced to do round trip that added 90 miles to my rental and additional $130 in fees. Samantha and BDK Floors was great. She explained the process, operation of the equipment, benefits of use of the insurance, what to do in case I have an emergency or a problem with the equipment, and when and where it needed to be returned. I've had some decent experiences before with U-Haul, but this one might have just earned my best yet! Thank you Samantha. And thank you U-Haul.

Micheal S.I received the truck with less then .25 tank of gas. Then was given $8 to fill it up on my own time. Trucks should never be dispatched with less the .5 tank of gas.
MICHAEL M.Truck made a horrible slapping noise over 45 MPH, even when unloaded. It sounded like a loose strap slapping in the wind. I checked outside of the truck, and was unable to find the source of the noise.
