The car was really old and it seemed it was hard to go over bridges. But it was clean and good.

Taking pictures of the dash, especially the odometer, is very difficult with an iPhone due to the refresh rate of the digital odometer being out of sync with the camera. It took me 15-20 tries.

The app is slow and hard to use, I would have preferred the staff just help me check in and out but they were absolutely not having that. The boxes they keep the keys in are old and rusted, the letters are hard to read to enter the code and get the keys out.
JOSEPH TThere was zero customer service. The equipment I asked for was not there. To get the keys to the truck took an act of congress. U Haul management needs to rethink their business plan. You over charged me, there was zero gas in the truck when I picked it up.

The service tire pressure management system warning light was on the whole trip. I had to stop twice to add air to the front tires and at one point while driving at 75 mph, the vehicle suddenly slowed down to 40 mph and I had no control and quickly pulled off the road

Jeanne VUHaul changed my pick up location. Was supposed to be mobile pick up. Took a very long time for verification and lock box code to be provided. No key in lock box. Went inside and was eventually provided with key. No check in process thru app like I had done on other occasions

Customer service when calling in was worse than the truck, other than the escalation call that actually seemed to care about customer experience. I will look to rent from uhaul only when all other options are exhausted.
Chris JOverall was a decent experience. The key wasn’t in the box when we picked up but the lady inside was friendly and got the key right away for us. We also paid $10 for moving blankets and they were not in the uhaul to move and it didn’t let us remove the items from our bill.

I utilized the app on my return and followed the steps up to and including the final review of cleanliness, personnel belongings, proper parking and the visual of the fuel gauge. Apparently I did not complete the process correctly and the truck was signed in there next day and I was charged an additional rental and safe mover fee. I called the number on my contract t and am still waiting for a reply. This site was not staffed and was at a gas station where all the employees do is hand you the keys. Very disappointing and shame on me for attempting to utilize a local resource and supporting a local business. In the event I use U Haul in the future it will be the old school way where I deal with a person.

RICHARD FConvenient location. All done over the phone so when they didn't have the equiptment I had asked for, there was no way to fix it. It was just pads so luckily it wasn't that important.
Carrye GU-Haul app was not functioning. All verification codes said they were incorrect. App kept freezing. Had sit and wait for a rep to assist the location. Then app would not function at return. Had to leave. Location was nice enough to get the return processed after another 20 minutes. Spent more time getting the truck and returning it then actually using it.

Daniel MOur reservation was relocated to a different pickup location. They had no idea of our reservation. We were stuck. They finally gave us a truck with barely any fuel. We couldn't even drive it far enough to get gas because of the Hurricane Ian in the Ft. Myers area. We ended up having to drive 185 miles home to get gas cans and fill them up and then drive back the next day to get the Uhaul truck and drive it back 186 miles. 4 trips in total back and forth across the state of FL from East Coast to West Coast and back again. All because they didn't have any gas in the truck. Horrible service. And then to add insult to injury they charged us an extra $22 to fill it up to a 1/4 tank. We are very upset and disappointed at this entire ordeal on top of having to deal with the devastation of a hurricane.

The Staff at the Beachcomber 1448 Hwy A1a Satellite Beach, FL 32937, were very understanding and accommodating. They were absolutely great, the rate & service was excellent. I totally recommend them. Christopher PThe truck only had 1/4 tank of gas Though I know I only had to return to 1/4 tank, I think everyone would prefer to pick up trucks full and then refill when they are finished instead of guessing how much gas they need to add to use a truck. Otherwise all good and went well. Helpful person at counter and on phone.
Gregory BThe owner and the “staff” of “The Beachcomber”, located at 1448 Hwy A1A in Satellite Beach, Florida 32937 was by far the best, easiest, and fastest experience I’ve ever had with a “U-Haul” rental. The online reservation was very “user friendly” and very easy to “reserve” the perfect size truck for our specific purposes. I cannot imagine having a better experience. The owner of “The Beachcomber”, “Tony” and his staff streamlined the process and set the standards/“bar” very high for any other licensed U-Haul vendor. Kevin MThe check out process was very glitchy and it took my WAY longer to get out with my truck than I expected. The photo app didn't work well and doesn't allow multiple photos of the same side to show different damaged areas. And the check IN link didn't work at all. Also, the vehicle needs and oil change so, it first, I was unable to verify the mileage so I had to turn around and return to the pick up location to have that looked at. And I didn't get any credit for lost miles. Overall, Very frustrating process.

Jay DI’m not a fan of the app. It did not work well, unable to verify items. The staff at the gas station were helpful and able to take pictures of my picture to send to their supervisor. Van was dirt on pickup.
Stephanie SThe cab in the truck smelled like a family of goats lived in there. I had to wipe down everything with disinfectant and spray deodorizer. It still didn’t take the smell out and I had to drive it 2 hours north.
Mark CIt was a folding table at a gas station and there was no representative. Additionally, my reservation could not be found by the individual on the telephone that the gas station attendant called.
sarah CI have used this place many times. This particular time the employee working the store was not trained on getting a customer a moving truck. The first trucks cab was dirty (pet hair and drink stains) and the power steering pump sounded like it wanted to come undone. The second truck was great but it want going back in and getting the employee to contact the employee that new how to get a uhaul to a customer. If one is going to have a uhaul operation have employees that know what to do and or be there for the customers.
Benjamin RThe location opens at 9. I arrived at 9:30 and the agent was not in. The gas station employee advised he could help by me sending him pictures of the cabin, mileage, and empty cargo bay, and he would share the images with the attendant who could close out my rental. The attendant said an email would be sent with a receipt, and I did receive it. I just feel it would be better the U-Haul agent actually be onsite during listed business hours.
Craig RThe back was not swept, it was filled with unfolded blankets, the truck was in horrible mechanical condition and the parking brake alarm would randomly come on, the passenger side door would not open, the engine wouldn’t turn over after filling up with gas and wasted an hour of my time, and water some how got in the roof and was on my furniture.

John AUse the online app for truck check-in & do not wait or rely on store clerk. It is a convenience store with gasoline (Texaco) with a single clerk. The clerk does not have time or opportunity to do check-in timely.
TIMOTHY SThe van had cockroaches crawling out of the driver and passenger seats. I saw one in the cargo bay when I picked up, but thought it was just one. After driving for a bit, and especially when parking at destination, adult and juvenile roaches were crawling out of the seat cushions.
Brett WThe vehicle was clean on the inside, the outside could use a wash. Milage and gas content was accurate. Your website is difficult to use for first time users, had to reenter the information several times. I did not receive the final adjusted invoice/receipt yet. My overall rating would have to be average. This vehicle also indicated it needed an oil change.
