Colton SI booked a 15' truck with a dolly ( which was retreived from another rental vehicle). I also booked blankets and 2 furniture moving dollies. I double checked with the lady at Buzby's and they didn't have the equipment I had booked. The lady was very helpful and pleasant. The truck was not ready, there was no snow brush and it was covered in snow & ice. The lady at Buzbys got her own personal brush and tried her best to clear the snow & ice. There was ice on the roof which was flying off on the highway, as I was told by drivers behind me. The back door was very sticky & hard to roll up. The cab was clean, it had good heat, but there was no automatic mirrors. Being a short lady, an extra step/ running board would be an asset. It would have been nice to know ahead of time that the rental equipment was unavailable and that the truck could have been cleared and ready to go for my pick up time. I spent 1/2 hr of my time at buzby's trying to get the truck clear of ice and snow, this put me 1/2 hr late for my destination which had people waiting on the truck The location is convenient for me, and the lady at Buzbys was friendly & helpful. However, I am not sure if I would use this location again if it can't supply the booked equipment for my rental & have the vehicle prepared and ready for pickup
Robyn GI was supposed to pick up my truck in Grimsby, the day before my move you relocate me to beamsville which was very inconvenient. Then, when I get there, the rude attendant tells me the furniture dolley I really needed is not in the truck which made my move 10x harder. My experience was absolutely horrid and I'll never use uhaul again. My back in in crippling pain now without that dolley.

ELIZABETH PHave to wait 15 minutes at the store as the store employee send the picture of driving licence and have to ask for approval. The truck had three feet of snow when i got it has no equipment to clean it that i can use have to wait about half hour after i got the truck so that ice in wind screen melts little bit and have a little vision to go on the road and still have to drive as it was too risky but had no other choice. Luckily was only going 15 mins away.

Peter RWhen I arrived I felt as if the contracts that were emailed were very long and the staff didn’t reallly explain anything. The truck had a tire with low pressure and not a full tank of gas. It was difficult to determine how much gas I had to put in it.
Sami HStaff at the store was so rude. I found Truck back door was frozen so I asked her to help me to get some hot water and she denied it and said she can not help. While opening the door I got hurt my back and when I informed her ans she was not even bothered to listen. Moreover, She did not allow to park my own car while I renting an U-haul. Although whole parkimg was empty till I came back. I am putting honest review on all over spcial meadia and not recommending this location to anyone.
Mayurkumar PAmanda was very efficient and very understanding that my U-Haul invoice added to a stressful moving day. So much of my time was wasted trying to contact U-Haul and after three corrects phone dialing was told the 800 number was no longer in service. Also tried to email the address given in U-Haul email and it came back ERROR after three times and at midnight finally resorted to chat line ……was okay but not great. As you have gathered….other than Amanda Reddy….I am very disappointed in your service and hopefully you might even consider compensating me with a ZERO invoice for my inconvenience which was the last thing I needed. Thanks again to Amanda. Hopefully this can be resolved so I can close my file. May I hear from you soon.

MARK MThey over charged me for my booking. I drove 35 miles and returned but they charged me for 78.20miles. I took the picture of the Odometer before and after and told them the miles I drove. But she charged me double mileage. This is unfair and an act of fraudulent to the customers who don't check the details. Please do the needful.
Asad mCabin smelled really bad, wasn't cleaned at all! gas tank less than a quarter full on pick up. Booked online for regular dolly, appliance dolly, and furniture dolly and was told they weren't available. Had to take a dolly out of another truck after looking for one myself in both trucks that were parked. I was told there were NO dollys at all at the location. Drove a total of 2 miles from the location to 4925 hickory lane (old address) to 5055 greenlane drive (new address) and dropped off. Got charged for 14 L of fuel for some reason for the trip and then added on another $30 convenience fee being it back less than a quarter when IT WAS ALREADY LESS THAN A QUARTER ON PICK UP!! On top of it all, safe move was added on without my knowledge! Realistically, Why would I get safe move for moving 2 miles?! Absolutely ridiculous!
SHAIKH AI was over charged. I don't understand why I am charged $233 for a day lease for 91 miles. Something doesn't add up.
gbolahan oI reserved an appliance cart when I booked the truck online. When I showed up Sunday morning at the store I was told that they don’t have carts. I should have been made aware of that when I reserved it

Daniel RVan that was reserved was not there. Location offered me no solutions, had to figure out myself that they had a large 15’ van that I could maybe use. Instead of them helping me resolve the issue, they made me call Uhaul and fix everything/reschedule for the bigger van. The first person I talked to at Uhaul was quite rude and offered no solutions either really, I had to dig for answers and resolution. I was then transferred to another person who was actually great and helpful and re-booked everything for me at the same rental rate and mileage charge as the 9’ van for the 15’ Van as that’s all they had. I was then charged the next day the higher price for the 15’ van and again had to contact uhaul and get that resolved. All in all a terrible experience and extra hassle that no one should have to deal with when paying for/ reserving a service.

Robert HThe van was new with 2,400 km. It wasn’t cleaned inside sand in the back and lint debris all over the seats. I had booked a two way trip 4 days ahead and was confirmed. But when I went to pick up the approval manager couldn’t be contact so I couldn’t pick it up on time. Then I got a call from Bugsbys and he said I could get the van because it was a one way trip. He had to call the manager back to get approval for mu 2 way trip. I was delayed 1/2 hour. This could have been better. But I did have a good move and returning went very well. The man also apologized to me.

And we were surprised at the cost when it's advertised at $19.95 in town and we paid $53.00 which included a $16.00 safety charge for what? The truck was unsafe and I wouldn't recommend using this service. If it's advertised at $19.95 we should not have paid $53

Phillip BPeople running the location has no clue what’s going on. Chose 24/7 after hours pick up. Didn’t have it set up. Told me someone would show up. Showed up 30 mins late. Truck has garbage in the cabin.
Nicholas CThere is something wrong with the transmission and it gets stuck in second gear. The vehicle won’t accelerate passed 15km/hr until third gear kicks in. Usually about 5 mins or so of driving.

Ben BIn looking at the contract later on I noticed that Safe Trip was included as a charge on my card. I did not want Safe Trip, I pay a bit of a premium to my insurance company to totally cover rental equipment. So I don't know where that came on the invoice except at the pickup sight.
JOHN JAt first I thought this was a great deal at $19.95 for the truck and figured it would cost me $85.00 at the most. Ended up paying $198.98 for 1 day Beamsville to Mississauga and back - 98 miles in total cost me $140.00! Absolutely got robbed by uhaul The lady told me I would’ve got a break if I did I ordered in person instead of on line. My fault I guess for trusting such a well known company not to soak their customers.
Antonio AWhen we arrived at the location (which was not the requested location) for pick up at the requested time, the truck we requested was not available. The customers who rented it before us had not yet returned it. We did not receive a call informing us of this nor providing an alternate location. We were given the next size down which ended up suitable; however, it leaked. The truck leaked and our king sized mattress ended up quite wet as well as several boxes. Some of the boxes contained personal photos and photo albums. This was an extremely disappointing experience especially for the money spent. Moving is already stressful enough and adding in the truck not being available, then the truck we finally did receive leaking onto our bed and personal items.

Karen MIt was fast and easy. My only complaint for this experience was the back door of the truck. It basically took two guys to lift it because of the weight. But more so was closing the door. Due to the weight being so heavy it comes down very fast. Aside from that excellent overall.

Donna SThe individual in charge of the facility was offsite. The person in the store took a photo of my drivers license and texted it to her. WHO DOES THAT???? My drivers license? Didn’t even tell me what she was doing, just snapped it. Huge HUGE security problem there! My pickup was supposed to be 715, no one arrived until 8 am. Bad check in, she called from a remote location and was very hard to understand. The truck had not been cleaned, so I returned it as I got it. No walk around, no fuel check, no nothing. Just ‘take a photo of the mileage in and out’. Upon return I was required to text her the mileage upon getting the truck and returning it. She started responding to me like I was her employee, didn’t realize I was the customer. Terrible terrible experience. I ll never use them again.
Tonya FI would recommend training the clerk at the dropoff station on the steps to take to check in the vehicle. We had to wait around 10-15 minutes for the clerk to call their supervisor and for them to be told what to do over the phone. The clerk seemed lost and told us ''if only I was trained for this''. I find this behaviour very unprofessional. Otherwise, everything else was fine. Based on my overall experience, I will never rent from UHaul ever again, and I will not recommend UHaul to any of my friends and family.

JASON BWhen I submitted my reservation I did not add the $15 protection, somewhere between picking up and dropping it off it was added, and I was not informed. When I dropped off the vehicle I noticed the variation in price and the associate at the location went over the billing details and it turns out that I was charged for it. I told her I refused to pay for it, and she told me she was closing the ticket so that the next customer could rent the truck and that I was to call UHAUL and figure it out.
