Place was very cramped. Little room to maneuver trailer. Absolutely not wheelchair accessible. Gravel surface with potholes. Big step to enter business. First trailer lights didn't work. Second trailer it took the tech a while to get right rear lights to work. By the time I got to the hotel 15 minutes later the right rear light was not working anymore. Only light working was the running light. No brake light no turning light.RAUL M.

Overall excellent experience...the only issue i would call out was not receiving a new confirmation email with the new pick-up location after i changed my pick-up date. A confirming text was sent the day before pick-up, but that timing was pretty tight.Lewis C.
The people at bears were wonderful. The people at uhaul were horrible. The rates were to far overinflated for a car trailer after labor day. Uhaul should just tell people that they do not offer discounts and they hate the military and veterans instead of playing a very frustrating game of he said she said. The franchise says the can't give discounts that uhaul corporate has to, corporate says they can't to ask the franchise. Get it together people!!!Kathy F.

While UHaul is advertising improved cleaning of their equipment during the COVID-19 crisis, my truck was definitely NOT deep cleaned before I picked it up. It appeared to be clean, but the fold out cup holder was sticky and obviously nothing had been disinfected or deep cleaned before I rented the truck. Luckily for the next renters, I am conscientious and personally disinfected all touch surfaces of my truck before returning it. Also, despite the advertised touchless pickup, I had to go into the rental office to get the keys after verifying my identity and the truck outside. I would have preferred to retrieve the keys from a box outside instead of the person in the office who wasn't wearing a mask (despite the governor's orders in that state). Otherwise my rental was good. The truck was in good repair and was easy to drive. It was ready at the appointed time which helped to keep my moving schedule on track. I would still rent from UHaul again, but will always be prepared to perform my own disinfection of equipment to be sure it is clean before I drive away.GRACE B.

I ordered an appliance dolly and furniture pads prior to picking up the vehicle. However, they had none on site and told me I could drive to a different location to pick them up, but you guys charge $1 a mile. I was also told I could drop the truck off at a different location, but upon trying to do so, I was told it had to go to the original location. Which costed me another $70. I was charged for equipment that I never received and the miscommunication on the drop off location was extremely frustrating and ended up being expensive. Will not be going with uhaul in the future. You guys don't take care of your customers.Kierstin O.
When I arrived to the location I was laughed at for thinking I was going to get a truck at 7AM. The employee there commented that U-Haul scheduled 7AM pick ups on Sundays, even though the business couldn't support it. I was then told to return at 930AM when the "U-Haul guy" would be at work. I returned at 930AM, and the "U-Haul guy" still had not arrived. He decided to do the transaction over the phone thru the employee at the desk, which was something that could have been done at 7AM when I first arrived to the shop. Because the person at the shop wasn't well versed in U-Haul transactions, I was shorted big time on furniture pads (I was given 10 when I paid for 48).Kathryn M.
Extremely positive review... the guy who helped me was so helpful, kind and understanding. Eternally grateful that he was the first person I met after the horrendous journey from IL to CO in a 26 ft uhaul with an auto-transport towing my car. He was a true gem.Lydia P.
