I got the wrong size truck for the job. The clerk didn't bother to do a walk around and didn't remind me to check my messages for a picture of my license plate. The interior was clean but the exterior of both the truck and trailer were filthy. I had to clean hardened mud off of the trailer tie downs and scrub the bugs off the windshield and headlights. There was grass plastered to the sides of the truck.

Make the rental process more transparent - I booked our truck 5 days in advance to ensure I would be able to pick up locally, only to find out later that it was not actually reserved; instead, I had to drive 50 miles away to get our truck for pickup (which made my minimum mile coverage less than what we needed). I had to pay for extra miles after our return because of this extra jaunt, which wouldn't have been necessary if I could have picked up locally as planned. At the pickup location, I couldn't get the app to work the way it was supposed to. Luckily, the chat representative was extremely helpful and resolved it, but the pickup still took about 30 minutes because of the app errors.

Jackson HThe vehicle was extremely dirty with bugs everywhere. The right side windshield wiper blade was held on with a zip tie. I told him the Left front tire did not look right and the others were not much better. This tire blew out in New Mexico. Little to no maintenance was performed at the Nebraska location. The operator for emergency break downs at UHAUL was excellent as well as the roadside repairman that changed the tire.

MITCH OWas told equipment was there but upon arrival found out it wasn't, was provided with a larger trailer for same price which would be ok in town but as I took it 1 way to CA made trip much more expensive. Very much more expensive both because of weight and drag being taller trailer.
