Truck not available at pick up. Had to drive to another location.Jennifer C.
I had to manually drop off the truck because the workers locked the doors during normal business hours. They said that one of the staff was not feeling well but the store was in terrible condition and had a group of people outside plying loud music and looked rough. I would NOT recommend this location to anyone and was not happy I was not offered any help by an employee. Only the group of people outside talked to me and they didn't even work there.Broc L.
After this experience, I doubt I will ever rent a uhaul again. It took almost an hour for me to pick it up. About 20 minutes for a return. And the AC in the truck didn't work so the ride was pretty brutual. Just a miserable experience overall.Austin K.

My reason for giving 3 stars was because during both pick-up and drop-off, the clerk and myself had issues with your website system not working correctly. Upon pick-up it would not allow me to upload the required pictures, nor progess passed this section. The clerk was able to work around the issue somehow, but it did cause quite a delay. Upon drop-off a different clerk stated that she could see my name and information, but she could not get the site to progess passed that section, and had to call a supervisor who was able to settle the issue. My experience would not deter me from using uhaul again, but I figured this website problem is an issue that the uhaul powers that be should be aware of.Thomas N.

When I got there to pick up a 20 ft truck it was not available because it had someone's belongings in it so they have me the biggest one 26 or 27 ft truck for the same price.Jeanette N.

In the end, I got the job done, but it was a bit of an issue. I initially went to a different location (one closer to my home). That gentleman set everything up and I was ready to go for the following Tuesday. No sooner did I get home and I got a call that there would not be a truck at that location and I would have to go to one a little over a mile further. No problem. I set everything up on my end for the six-stop move-a-thon, but then a day or so later got a call that they didn't think they would have a truck at 9 like I had requested but rather 10:30. I protested that this was a problem since I had all of my help lined up based on the original time. She said she would ask the other renter to bring it back an hour early (he was picking it up the day before for 24 hours, but apparently the rental office wasn't opening until 10 on Monday so they wanted to allow him until 10 on Tuesday to return. She told me she would check with him and call me. She did not. On the positive side, I went at 9 on Tuesday and the truck was available so all was well. Also, I mentioned to the clerk when I returned the truck that I felt there might be something wrong with it. It didn't seem to downshift properly when I would slow down. Seemed to rev up. Probably not describing it correctly, but it was a very odd feeling as I would take my foot off the gas and attempt to brake.David C.

The whole process was pretty easy and the lady at the store where I picked up the truck was very friendly. My one major complaint is that I requested 24/7 pickup and had the time set for 7am. When I arrived that morning to pick up the truck it changed how I could get the key to, in-person and that I would have wait until the store opened. So I had to wait until 8am, which wasn't terrible but I had several people I had to notify of the change and then that resulted in less time that they could help move. I guess that option to pick up the key after hours is not available at that location as they had "white-out" covering the barcode to scan. That should have been shared when I was making the location selection instead of the morning of pick up.Andrew R.

Truck was way too old (2008) to still be a rental truck. Driver's door has to be slammed, hard, to close; engine is running rough; mirrors were near impossible to adjust; windshield wipers are in poor shape, interior lighting has to turned on/off manually; don't call it a 15' truck if the floor isn't 15' (12' long ladder wouldn't fit on the floor) and I've never driven a vehicle where my foot could press on the brake and gas at the same time but on this truck I could and it nearly caused 2 accidents.Kenneth Z.
The site was an agency, the truck was clean but there was a broken windscreen glass deep in the gap between the seat and backrest on driver side. I didn't know how to release the foot break so I had to spend Time to find out via the Internet unfortunately the U-Haul videos site was not functional on my phone. All in all the site was fine but probably the operators need to have operational knowledge of the vehicle so we can have a quick guidance on operationPeter M.

Arranged reservation on line including supplies. At pickup I was told they don't provide supplies. I had to find another location at the last minute for the moving blankets, etc.Judith S.

Waited over an hour in line to pickup the truck. There was only one customer in front of me, but the representative had difficulty processing the forms on her phone. Additionally they had to wait on other customers who were purchasing gas and/or store items. There were no furniture pads or dolly in the truck as requested in the reservation. The representative present when the truck was returned was extremely rude. Based on this experience, it is highly unlikely that I would use u-haul again.Jeffrey H.

I reserved my uhaul for 2 days. When I picked up the uhaul on July 31st at 11 am I found out I only had it for 8 hours. I called uhaul and was told sorry but there was nothing they could do. It got extended to 8am the next morning, but that's still less than 24 hours. When I dropped it off I was charged for 2 days. What???? So they clerk knew how much time I had it and only charged me for one day. At least she was nice. I will never use Uhaul again. Very poor communication. This place is a rip off I wanted to do a one way trip and drop the truck in my home town but she told me flat out no I had to bring it back when I left with the truck it had 1/2 a tank of gas when I got ready to come back it was 1/4 tank I put $50 in it gave me 3/4 of a tank got there it was a little over 1/2 a tank they said it was 15/16 full that's a lie then they charged me $38 to fill it that's wrong you people are running a scam or something there I wanted to rent a trailer but for some reason I couldn't because of my truck it's a 04 spirt track with a tow package o it to pull trailers but you won't allow me to rent one for some reason I want money refunded for the gas and the optional protection plan I didn't ask for and didn't want so if you are a decent company you will make this rightTim P.

We did not get all the stuff we ordered online for the reservation and did not know it wasn't there until I got to my location for packing up stuff. We had to call the uhaul and make sure they didn't charge us and then get a refund on the equipment we paid for. The truck was dirty.Brian W.
Previous experience was absolutely 5-star. This one was not. The truck was dirty, had a bunch of stuff left over from previous customer or it was a bunch of Evangelist material that had been put in the car by the location owner, I'm not sure. I had made the reservation the previous evening for a 26' truck and a dolly. Upon arrival, the person checking me in for the reservation was very nice. However, she added extra insurance that I had not specified on my reservation nor requested when checking in. She said, â€œmost people get it.â€ The truck upon inspection was in poor repair. Skirting was missing, the head light looked like it was about to fall off as a couple of examples. Generally, there was not a spot on the truck that did not have a scratch, dent or major repair needed. Also, the dolly that was on the reservation was not available, so we had to drive the opposite direction of our destination to pick up the reserved dolly. The truck ran fine during the day. However, in the evening when the lights were turned on, one of the marker lights goes out signifying an electrical issue. The gentleman who was supposed to be closing out the reservation was rude and said he refused to check the truck in. After getting off the phone with a u-hail representative, a new employee came out to finish checking in the truck. She was the only positive about this whole experience.Hanna H.

The lady we encountered said we needed to go on/line for the return, and she had no role to play in the return. The parking area was so small we barely got our big truck in to it. We were unable to make contact with the online check in. Finally a nice young man came out and took care of it for us. There is another drop off location nearby which should be recommended to your customers ... located on old Hwy 21, near Hwy 141. They have plenty of room, they're in a great location, and they surely are more helpful than the behind the bluffs location.terry E.

I had paid to pick it up at 7:30 AM. The establishment was closed. I called U-haul to notify them, they sent me to another establishment for 8:15, which also was closed. I had to go back to Behind the Bluffs at 9, when they opened. Then it took the lady who worked there 50 mins to fill out her end of the paperwork. I filled out my paperwork on my phone for my check-in. I had a moving company scheduled for 8, but didn't even get to leave Behind the Bluffs with my truck until 10, 2 and A HALF HOURS later than scheduled.Amanda B.

Sorry but this neighborhood is not for a single elder woman to return a trailer by herself. The store was selling vapor cigs at the time and I could not get in a word with the two women behind the counter because they were on the phone with personal business. I had a man blocked outside and he was waiting for someone to come out to move the trailer while I was waiting for the women to hang up and do my paperwork. Smelled strongly of cigarettes in there and the workmen were very smelly and had on wife beater shirts.Dorothy B.

Truck was super dirty in cab area and had an atrocious smell. Also odometer kept changing modes so I felt like it was not accurate. The bill was nearly 1/3 higher than originally quoted thats a large window. Also rental beginning was 45 minutes rental return with nearly as long seems awfully time-consuming.Danielle F.

We had signed up for the 24/7 pick up/drop off but when we finished signing in on our phone, 50 minutes when by and we still didn't have approval to take the truck. The keys were inside the store so we had to cancel our reservation and start a completely different one inside the store for the same truck. Online we ordered 2 dollies and they weren't even in the truck. When we were done and dropped off the truck, our invoice shows that we were charged for the $56 safe move plus. We were not asked if we wanted that package. In fact, I signed up for the $14 package when I signed up online. What a mess.Jeremy L.
