Called to ask about drop off - store closed at 6, but only one guy did registration for uHaul and he was leaving at 3:30. His response - â€œgood luck .â€ No help at all.Christoph A.
Chris was excellent in all regards. Came in early morning on his day off to get us a truck and hook up the auto transport along with showing us the ins and outs of how to use it. Great experience and would highly recommend this location to anyone.GEORGE G.
Vehicle was very clean; cab and back. Customer service was not the best though. Employees made offhand comments indicating I was taking up their time. Never once felt like my presence was welcomed at the location, only that I was an inconvenience. Quite disappointed as this location was extremely convenient for our needs.KAYLEIGH P.
The U-Haul App is a pain. Why do I have to key in all my information on my license only to have the app scan it and then fill it in automatically? Also, stepping through all the questions of other available services is a pain when al lI want is a truck.Ed M.

This location was great. However it was not my planned pick up location. I originally ordered to pick up a truck at Dans place in Cumberland/LaVale MD. My schedule pick up time was 9am and since the agreement states I could pick the truck up within an hour of that time, I'd planned on getting it around 8:15. The night before my planned pickup, someone from uhaul or Dans place (I'm not really sure to be honest) called me to see if I could push that time back because the customer who currently had the truck was running late bringing it in. I explained that unfortunately I could not do that as the people coming to help me from 4 hours away wanted to get an early start. The man I spoke with said something along the lines of â€œok let me see what I can work outâ€. I arrived there a little after 8 to see at least 2 of the 26ft trucks at dans place and went to complete the online check in just to find out I couldn't get the truck until 10 am because they did not put it in the system for 24/7 pick up. This was a HUGE inconvenience and I will never recommend dans place to anyone for uhauls. That said, I called uhaul, was connected immediately connected with a very kind woman who transferred my transaction to the bel air location, and had me all taken care of in a matter of minutes. We travelled to the bel air location and had no issues there on out. However- it would be nice if uhaul required trucks to have a full tank of gas upon returning. I only say this because I picked it up with 1/4 of a tank and had to fill up immediately, which costed me about $120, to end up returning it with 1/2 a tank of gas. Just kind of felt like I spent more on gas than I should have. Aside from that, and my initial hiccup at dans place, this experience was pretty good.caitlin B.

There was a mix up with my rental agreement. I requested the truck online and chose a pick-up time of 12am by accident. The guys at the u-haul location took the time to call me whenever they opened up in the morning. They could have easily rented out the equipment to someone else since I didn't show up at the previous agreed time.JOSEPH M.

Very good, very nice, very respectful. They went out of there way to help me resolve an issue that was wrong with my reservation that was messed up upon dispatch when they did not cause the issue.. They saved me hundreds of dollars from a mistake that was not of there doing. They where overall a huge help and very great. I would refer them to anyone.Donald W.

I did not have a problem with the location just the fact that it was 100 miles and a 3 hour round trip from the location promised. They did not give me enough miles to cover the additional miles and as a result I was charged an additional $30 in fees. Not good. If you mess me around I do not expect to have to pay for the pleasureshaun M.

This is at least the second time renting a U-Haul from Bel Air Service Center and I will go back to them again when needed. It is a very convenient location for pickup and Chris and Dave are very friendly and excellent to deal with. Highly recommend using them for your U-Haul needs!!JOHN KEVIN H.

Returning the truck to Cupps Automotive Martinsburg West Virginia there seems to be no U-Haul representative available at 10 a.m. to accept the truck. I was told the U-Haul rep would be in shortly I waited until 12:30 and nothing. Now I'm waiting on my receipt and my hundred dollar refund which I paid in cash now I'm telling I'll be paid by check. To me this whole situation makes no sense. Please have your District rep go out and review what I'm talkin about thank you very muchThomas J A.

The truck was jerking and almost stalling at points. It made the long journey very uncomfortable, arduous and nightmarish. The truck also consumed more fuel as a result of this bumpy ride. We are still recovering physically and emotionally. We use U-Haul for our moves, this will make me re think about using them next time. The people at this location are wonderful people though.
