Truck was dirty and still had items in it and little to no gas the clerk in the store told me to put gas and bring it back how I picked it up which is exactly what I did and was charged and extra $60 on top of getting gas and paying a deposit

CODY NBooked a truck for 24 hours, but was charged for 48 hours, plus $30 for insurance ($15 ea day), I have not selected it as I have my regular car insurance that covers rentals. Had an issue with the back door stuck in fully open position and took me a while to get it closed up, therefore was late to return a truck for an hour or so and of course they charged me 48 hours instead of 24 hours.please refund a day of truck rental and insurance, thank you. VADYM PInside of truck was filthy. Windshield was so dirty you could barely see to drive. Really a safety hazard.
FAYANN SWould also like to commend the people who helped us at the call center as well as the storage facility. Please check your records for their names. One female and one male (I think the male was Dale or Dave? Don't remember the female name at all). They really deserve commendations. They all went above and beyond expectations, for customer service.

MANUEL DI've used the U-Haul app several times over the years and it seems like the process for checking the truck out is getting slower and slower. This time it didn't even work, I had to go inside.
JASON BI opened up the uhal back door, coffee filter with coffee all over. I cleaned it up. But great service at the counter.

BRAD LNot only did my U-Haul REEK of tobacco and sweet smoke, but every single step of the way I have had an automated system change my reservation when promised a call, the location was changed and I was promised a call to confirm, never received one, I then extended my return time from 1pm to 10pm and was charged extra without ever being told such would have which it shouldn’t anyway it’s the SAME DAY how can I be charged extra for the SAME DAY RETURN. I disputed this and again was promised a phone call that AGAIN never happened and I have now been wrongfully charged with out any conversation, the service has been disgustingly poor and I am at this point completely done with using this company, if this isn’t made right in some way by tomorrow I will be issuing a charge back it is completely unacceptable the way I have been treated throughout.

DONALD LThe person was new and it took him an hr to get us the truck. Then he missed an e-alert and we got a call the next morning saying there wasn't a contract and we needed to return the truck ASAP or they would report it stolen. Thankfully it was all resolved with a simple call to UHaul.
ONIKA WOnly thing is when I got it felt like transmission was going out and I tried to explain I was gonna be a couple hours late I don't feel like I should of been charged a whole another 24hrs.i kinda feel u should of only charged me for 2 more hours moving is expensive. Had to drive slow cause scared transmission was going o u t .kinda wish for at least 40 bucks back

Kevin BThere was dog hair all over the cab seats so it was not cleaned properly. It also rained and some water got into the back part of the truck where all my boxes were. In addition, it’s not obvious in the agreement that extra charges will be made to the credit card after the truck is returned.
Leila SInstead of worrying about other people that was there after me and attending to them and just hand me over the 4 wire and tel me to pull around so they can take photos before i leave was ridiculous. I had to pick up the 6x12 cargo trailer that was on the floor and pick it up and drag it over to hook up the trailer my self and plug the wire and connect all the safety chains so I can get on my way because they were too busy inside. After everything was done they came out as I was about to leave. It was unacceptable and never had an experience like this.

LESLIE HThe trucks AC didn't work. It was cool in the morning so I didn't need it until we had loaded the truck and it got close to 90° out and had worked up a sweat. The trucks blew hot air. The people I rented from said they couldn't do any kind of reimbursement or compensation. They said to call U-Haul.
Melanie SThey didnt.give me the key to unlock the back so i had to go back and was charged that mileage. I have never rented a uhaul and would have loved if someone could have walked and to show me how everything works. The truck was on empty. No ramp or mention of any other equipment we might need.
Margaret DI was told that there was 3/4's of a tank of gas but it was empty. This happened to another customer who came in right after me. When trying to load the furniture there was a padlock on the back of the truck and no key. I had to go back to get it unlocked. The lady at the Shell station was very nice though but this took longer than it should have.
Tracy LDrove 3 miles. Put a few bucks in the tank before returning. The inspector said it was low and asked if I wanted to fill up more and I forgot my card so I couldn’t. He shook his head at me like he was very disappointed. I still paid what they charge if returned with less gas. Just not very good customer service experience. Will definitely take my future renting to other locations

john mThere were no experienced personnel on hand to answer my question regarding how to disconnect my car from the trailer. But the person behind the counter was helpful and very professional. It took a few minutes but the disconnect issue was resolved with no real Hassel.

Jason TI had to disconnect the trailer myself. The attendant wanted me to back the trailer into a small stall.I didn’t. This is the smallest trailer and very easy to move by hand. I’m 75 years old with my arm in a sling after having surgery. This place made me extremely mad.

Tamee GUpon getting the keys I found a homeless woman in the back of my truck. The fuel level was incorrect and the clerk said she would note it and change it and she never did. I only drove 8 miles the entire move from pick up to drop off. I had a bad experience with the app. As it kept glitching while trying to upload pictures and after 20 minutes of trying to check out with the app I went in to the store with night-clerk to inquire what to do, since the app was glitching and because had just dropped off the key in the overnight box. He said to come back in the am, But when the morning clerk wanted to finish the check in (because the night clerk said I was 20 minutes late) said she was going to charge me another full day. This move was number 26 with U-Haul. I will never use this location .06 miles from my home. My storage I was moving from was 1 mile away from this location but only .06 miles from my new apt. We moved 1 way, 1 trip. I’ve used other locations around here before (Phx Az ) and things were both smooth and perfect.

Jaylin KWe were given blankets, which we didn't use and the packages were left sealed, but we had to pay for them anyway. AFTER the fact we were told they were rented-they were brand new in the package. We asked to use a different credit card and the man ran the wrong card anyway. He wanted us to back the truck into the parking spot when finished. I have never been so disappointed in my rental experience before. We were not happy.
Michael CWorat experience ever. Young woman took forever to complete paperwork and hookup. Upon my return, young man would not help. Told me it would be a $20 charge to unhook the trailer. I am 76 years old, have had both shoulders replaced, and a sore back from moving 100lb. toilet boxes all morning. I did the unhook without help in the heat.

Thomas CIt was very inconvenient to drive the 45 mins/40 miles each way to pick up the trailer. I understand your policy, but I wasted a good $50 in gas that I didn’t plan on. I would like to be reimbursed for that gas amount.
Mikaela WThere was tons of trash in the back of the truck I rent for a couple days as well as seed all over the front seat and passenger floor when I returned the truck I’d swept the back of the truck out but left the seed in the front seat floor and was told I need to sweep them out or I would be charged extra. The lady that was checking me out was extremely rude.would never go back to this location!

Wendy CErika charged us a $9 because she claimed we did not fill up the truck. We only went 10 miles and put over a gallon in. She was very unprofessional and lacked judgement. Was yelling at my husband. It was so dumb. We will never rent from Uhaul again. I will be calling the 800 number to complain about this entire issue. Your staff needs to be trained in this stuff. Sadly all over $9 measly dollars. She could have just saw the receipt and let it go instead she chose to argue with my husband about how we didn't fill up. We showed the receipt and again was told it wasn't enough. We went 10 miles. We added over a gallon. Your trucks get about 12 miles to the gallon. It should have been plenty. So, her unprofessionalism caused so many problems for us that day, and sadly if could have been avoided. She was rude and yelled at me and my husband. I will never go to that location or rent from uhaul again. Sadly, this could have all been avoided if she had listened to us and looked at our receipt. But she argued with us for over 10 minutes. Not cool!
